  1. I asked my youngest if he wanted to go. 'What's the point, we'll only get cheated' he said. I think he'll be right.
  2. Agreed. There was a lot of slick football in the first half that had dirty Leeds chasing shadows and they managed to step it up when Bellamy came on. No doubt Rev expects his Mondeo to go like a Ferrari
  3. I noticed that Douglas was giving Tugay an elbow at every opportunity and then clattering Sav, seemed like he was out to try and hurt someone, doesn't he realise he has to come back to the club. Great performance though, we made Leeds look very, very ordinary. I'll even hold my hands up and admit Emerton had a storming game, second half especially, so much so that I thought we'd sneaked a new signing on
  4. Hook, line and sinker. My money was on you or Flopsy.
  5. I'm surprised none of the PC brigade have complained about this weeks chants directed at Pennant. After all, they probably hurt his feelings. He did look a bit surprised. Perhaps they weren't 'sick' enough for our more straight laced members to have a whinge.
  6. Bellamy did have one from a similar position, he didn't hit the target either.
  7. Perhaps you should take up my third option then. Try Crown Green Bowling, definately no offensive chanting there
  8. Sick to the back teeth with these ' I don't like it, so it shouldn't be done ' preacher types.
  9. What's wrong with being offensive? Players say far worse to each other during the course of a game. Some cricketers are famed for their sledging ( as it is known in that sport ), it's all part of the game and is done to wind up the opposition. Sometimes it works ( I remember Beckham being subbed at half time at Ewood after giving the BBE two fingers ), sometimes it doesn't. So for those people that are so upset by offensive chants ( don't forget, what's offensive to one person, may not be to another ) you can always move seats, stands or sport.
  10. I fear our own prawn butty brigade is much larger than I first thought
  11. Seems to me that it's not just the players who've gone soft. I wonder how long it will be before it will be a criminal offence to hurt someones feelings. Jesus, there would have been uproar if they'd included the word ' black ' somewhere. Get a grip, life's cruel. It's time you lot learned the rhyme ' Sticks and stones '
  12. Or do we have an elitist element to BRISA even before the launch?
  13. How can this be if the launch is on the 27 Oct ? I thought BRISA was supposed to be the fans ?
  14. Spot on Bazza. Cruyff and Platini both said in the late seventies that football should be a non contact sport. Instead of starting up a new game that was actually non contact, they both went about trying to change the game we loved. Due to their profiles and positions within the sports ruling bodies they have virtually achieved this now. Anyone who tries to tell me either of these two were footballing greats gets a right tongue lashing.
  15. Zura should have let sissy go, he'd have mucked the chance up. Unlucky again. Getting a bit sick of using that excuse.
  16. Where you will be able to cheer on the Gremans to your hearts content, along with all the jocks
  17. Show me a person that isn't a racist in one way or another and I'll show you a liar. By the way, why is it only the Engish are ever accused and prosecuted of being racist in this great(not) country of ours?
