thanks for that. seems like sav was his usual affective self! i'm pleased he was back in the middle. the experiment must have failed.
-
did sav have a spell on the right ? it's something rovers have tried earlier in pre-season.
-
the best suggestion... right there.
-
seriously, they should bring it back. it reminds me of the Halcion days and gets me all nostalgic!

there's nowhere to park, but the fish and chips are a consolation.

i stand by what i said, but lets agree to disagree. safe to say, whenever he featured at LB he wasnt up too standard. -

he only played a couple of games on the wing, and the rest at LB. -

ex drug- dealer and midfield dynamo of the late 80's, tony finnigan is now an agent. being an agent must be more profitable than dealing then ? -
from the 1st photo on the rovers website, it seems Brig decided not to pick a goalkeeper!

more matches, only 2 subs, they played on heavier pitches and they were paid less (although comparatively better than most). watching old MOTD programmes, broadcast on ESPN CLASSIC (SKY CH 442), makes me think... footballers have it easier nowadays. PLAYERS... STOP COMPLAINING! -
[Archived] Italian Refereeing Scandal

i think it was graham poll. he admitted to being more lenient when refereeing the 'big teams' for precisely that reason. must as i detest the guy, he's not alone. it's been going on for years, but it is on the increase. -

the nonsense continues. this time from JT. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/tm_...-name_page.html -
heard on the wireless over the wkend, that 'fat sam' had agreed to join sunderland, but backed out at the last minute. the party line from the wankys was- ''this is nonsense, we've had no contact and he doesnt want to leave bolton.'' it's a shame the wheels appear to be falling off. there such a nice club an all!

[Archived] Mceveley And Douglas Gone On Loan

douglas didnt impress me whilst on loan at leeds (what i saw on TV). he is never going to be a regular 1st teamer, at rovers. he always seems a fraction slow in anticipation and movement for me. jay has failed to live up to his early promise. maybe he starred early on because youngsters play without fear. he's playing with fear at the moment and in his last few rovers appearances, he's made several errors and his display on friday night was abysmal. my cousin lives in capel, nr ipswich, and watches ipswich every now and again. he said when jay was on loan there, that he was forever getting skinned, if he ever came up against a speedy winger and he used to have several lapses in concentration. andy taylor on the other hand, impresses me enormously whenever i see him and looks superior to jay. -
i agree with most of that, philip. bit harsh on jeffers, our midfield looked devoid of any ideas (saying that it was douglas and reid playing CMID in the 2nd half) and i think MH will be looking to strengthen in the creativity department. **although, i listened to JW on radio lancs and he stated hughes was happy with his squad now surely a smokescreen**

FT. the ref took pity on rovers and blew up on 89:45.

i've lost the feed, along with my will to live. only a friendly, but what a complete shambles. thank christ benni's already put pen to paper.

brad was day-dreaming an all. the commentator has just said "embarrasimo." i wonder what he means ?
