  1. Is Nixon on the Venkys payroll? He's always quick to jump to their defence.
  2. And yet the club haven't acknowledged the hire at all. It's an easy PR win, yet they're missing an open goal - if he was indeed sacked for gross incompetence.
  3. The Director of Football isn't 'Chief Scout'. You'd also have been better citing Wilcox or Dowie, if you're pushing for an ex-player being DoF. No doubt they've got actual qualifications though, unlike Rudy.
  4. If we're sacking people for making mistakes, how is Waggott possibly still here?
  5. I don't doubt that Wahlstedt is on decent money - we bought Kaminski for circa £300k and he was being run out of Gent. We had to hijack Wahlstedt's deal with another club.
  6. I'm impressed - it's not even been announced yet and you're already positioning yourself to toe the party line. Great work.
  7. Same old names being bandied around then. Amazing we're able to have any interest in anyone considering our DoF is leaving imminently.
  8. Probably been told the budget for the summer after selling circa £30m of players and thought "Fuck that".
  9. You mean Gary Bowyer's dad, right?
  10. And yet the chief one remains pulling the strings.
  11. They have to start somewhere.
  12. There has to be a happy medium. They're 20 year old lads that probably know this is their level, no matter how hard they work. Having them in every day is silly. Giving them multiple days off a week during the season is also silly
  13. Have the club actually commented on this yet?
  14. We don't have crucial first team players leaving for free any more - so I think we've probably negotiated decent add-ons.
  15. Where's Ramsdale going? 'Cos they're already committed to buying Raya.
  16. Same in the NFL. The in-stadium experience is awful - loads of dead time waiting for the game to come back from commercials.
  17. Trebled Ennis' wages according to who? We lost £40k on that deal - it was a worthwhile punt.
  18. Depends if they're allowed to spend money (including competitive wages) or not.
  19. Surely he's not being signed to be a starter. He's experienced and, more importantly, he's a leader. We've desperately short of those in the dressing room. I'm not opposed to the move considering S. Wharton will be out most of the season.
  20. Oxford. Bolton are in our catchment area.
  21. As far as I'm aware they've never failed to pay players, so you'd go to whoever offers the biggest weekly wage. Granted with our new L1 budget that wouldn't be us.
  22. The only thing I don't like about those highlights (and I get that slide tackles are sexy) is that he dives in to a lot of tackles. I hope that's not the norm for him.
  23. He's out of contract in December - we won't get him on loan.
