  1. You'd imagine they'd want him back playing for them.
  2. I did say he was bonkers to sign a deal with Rovers after we called the deal off mid-flight...
  3. I think you mean "Please Indian government force them to sell our club".
  4. He doesn't seem to struggle doing the paperwork when we're selling players though. I can't believe they've tried the same trick twice.
  5. Right, so they've deliberately sabotaged another deal. Fit and proper owners my eye.
  6. Just like we exposed them last January? You lads are living in a fairytale. All that will happen, if the deal falls through, is that we'll be weaker until the summer when the whole circus starts up again.
  7. What is there left to protest about? Most of our fan base has walked away.
  8. Convenient, that, for those that dislike Broughton.
  9. They took a chance that a promising young player could make the step up to the Championship. He couldn't and they've, at worst, washed their face. I don't see how anyone can complain about the whole situation.
  10. I don't think the squad is weaker. We have, however, just sold our best player.
  11. He played for the USA on 20 January (albeit 30 minutes). I wouldn't be too worried about his match fitness. He'll play as soon as he's cleared by the authorities imo.
  12. Venkys bad. Broughton the anti-Christ (or doing a difficult job in trying circumstances, if you're that way inclined). Lots of loans at CB, LB, CB and CM. Two 4 month deals for an experienced CB and CM. Prize possession flogged.
  13. I visited Charleston last year on my way through to Miami (from Charlotte). Lovely city.
  14. Why does it?
  15. Sounds like there's some shady accounting going on then.
  16. The future contract and future fee will have been agreed beforehand.
  17. Maybe he simply doesn't want to field questions about the transfer window as "That's Gregg's job". He won't be happy about selling our best player and bringing in temporary solutions to tide us over until the summer though. Granted he won't be here for the rebuild.
  18. Garrett is the next one on the production line. This is the opportunity he's been waiting for. Granted I still think he needs a season at L1 to mature, but evidently we're so short handed that we're not in the business of sending our fringe First XI Academy players out on loan at the moment. I think Fleck will be counted on to play serious minutes for the rest of the season.
  19. Why is it vital? He thought he'd be allowed to buy McGuire outright before Waggot / the owners pulled the plug on all permanent transfers. He's as much in the dark as we are.
  20. A. Wharton knew he was going on Monday night. He's been in London since at least Wednesday. The money was there to be spent they've clearly simply been told they're not allowed to spend it.
  21. Broughton has clearly tried to stop the bleeding until the summer.
  22. Plymouth fans raved about him in League 1 - although even there he had a bad injury record and his minutes were carefully managed. At Ewood it was clear that he never hit the fitness levels that JDT requires as he was extremely reluctant to ever play him - I think he had 8 appearances for us? When we did see him he looked very slow - my best description of him would be a bulky, 5'10" target man with a L1 first touch.
  23. Or that's all Stoke want to commit to...
  24. It looks to me that they're committing to 3 at the back for the rest of the season. We've signed 3 CBs this window.
  25. I genuinely couldn't tell you. We're certainly weaker in CM, but we might be a damn sight better at CB and CF for all I know.
