I couldn't listen to a Mowbray interview after promotion. He just moaned and talked down the club - it made him very difficult to back. You say it's only a minor thing, but I think it's reflected in the players and how they play. A manager that takes pride in his club and how he carries himself shows on the pitch.

He took Wycombe, the epitome of a nothing club, from the relegation zone in League Two to the Championship. He's anything but a rookie manager - regardless of whether he's the right guy for us. I'd take him over some of the dross listed every day and twice on match day.
