  1. 3 point deduction for that pitch invasion, surely.
  2. Everton, Burnley and Leeds are all terrible. It's a shame only one of them can go down.
  3. I have no idea how good he was at Gent. I can only talk about how I've observed the significant decline in the quality of his distribution between his debut and now.
  4. Both keepers went backwards under Benson. Kaminski's distribution now is significantly worse than when he arrived.
  5. It infuriates me watching other teams at Ewood having the freedom of the pitch to take their throw-ins, meanwhile every single one of our players is tightly marked when we're throwing the ball in.
  6. Am I the only one that thinks Lenihan is bang average? I wouldn't be straining myself to keep him - especially if we plan to play in a back 4 next year.
  7. Ah, I see you've made the fundamental mistake of listing Pears as a GK. Easily done.
  8. Sadly you're probably very right. Which is a shame because I'm hanging on by a very thin thread at this point.
  9. Ah good. No rush. Plenty of time to drift listlessly through the off-season.
  10. Oh how I miss the days when I could genuinely chant "Who?" from the Jack Walker Stand at a substitute because I knew most starting XIs in the PL. No idea who this lad is, but good luck to him. He's very brave considering we still live in a world where Rico Henry is being racially abused and Burnley fans are throwing up Nazi salutes.
  11. So do we have any substantive updates or are the last few pages all just back and forth about the merits of managers who may or may not be interested in the job?
  12. The Brighton keeper (Sanchez?) pulled off two worldies - but yes, Brighton players were ghosting into massive gaps in the Leeds back line at will in the first half. I still think Leeds are going down, but the pressure is now on Burnley to get a result from their last two games.
  13. I'm jealous of what they've achieved, but I hate their model (no Academy) and the last thing football needs is another nothing London club wallowing in the PL riches.
  14. Branthwaite strikes again - what a donkey.
  15. The bottom 5 are appalling. It's typical Everton that they survive AGAIN by the skin of their teeth.
  16. Plenty of fight, just no direction. Brighton could have had 3 if they were any good.
  17. If Middlesbrough want to swap managers I'm all for it.
  18. There's no way we bought the lad for £6-7m AND added a sell on clause, right? We're not that moronic, surely.
  19. We're playing a different game in the lower leagues.
  20. They've tried to take all of the interpretation (and therefore context) out of the game - "ball hit hand, therefore, handball". Which is why you get nonsense decisions like that.
  21. I'm watching this Luton v Huddersfield Playoff Semi-final with my head in my hands. This is nothing more than two committed clubs giving it a go. The standard is terrible. How the hell did we mess it up so badly?!
  22. Didn't we have a massive black hole in the FFP budget due to spending £18m on three strikers? Gallagher, Armstrong and Brereton. That's not even factoring in the money thrown away on Smallwood's 12 extra months, Gladwin's rehab, Ayala, Pears et al. They're absolutely bonkers owners, but they throw £20m at us every year - I don't think they were the reason the Armstrong money had to be used to fill that calculation.
