  1. I hate "Shall we sing a song for you?" at the first lull from the Blackburn End and "Blackburn's a s'hole, I want to go home" when they're from... well, anywhere, really. Football chants have really gone down hill.
  2. It should be a flat £20 a game for adults, £10 for juniors, regardless of 'tier'. You're asking people to shell out for second rate football. We're already screwed financially, I'd rather fill the stadium (as much as possible) and try to invest in future fans than think about a bottom line by squeezing the hardcore fans who'll go come rain or shine.
  3. I'd be happy with a complete refresh in the summer, to be honest. Lots of deadwood in this squad - a number of players who haven't pulled their weight in 2022. A new manager and some new faces is a must.
  4. The three out of contract players wanting to play for Mowbray again - never in a month of Sundays!
  5. Giles was playing as a LWB and put in an abject performance. He clearly would rather be anywhere else but at Ewood.
  6. Has anyone seen the Dack offside goal again? The SKY highlights haven't shown it - I was sure he turned a Blackpool player and, therefore, couldn't have been offside.
  7. He was awful today - worst I've seen him play. Even at his best he hides for 20 minutes every game. He hid for about 70 minutes today.
  8. We were poor, they were worse. 1-1 a fair result considering (albeit there was a foul in the build up to their goal too...).
  9. They did nothing until the Blackpool fan donned the ref's top in the second half.
  10. Yes, really. They had nothing going forward - relying on set pieces to create anything - and looked shaky at the back. They were also dirty (Wharton and Van Hecke elbowed in the head / Brereton Diaz lucky not to have his leg broken at the end) and divers. Horrible, poor quality team.
  11. Yes we did, Blackpool are the worst side I've seen at Ewood this season.
  12. Did they pull a Blackpool fan out of the stands to ref that second half?
  13. The team warms up in front of me every week - they're all eminently replaceable. It's a far cry from our PL days. I just think he's been treated poorly by the master man manager, Mowbray.
  14. Pretty sure we'll be playing Dolan as a False 9 with Brereton and Gallagher as Inside Forwards... unless he's changed everything we've done all season.
  15. I sympathize with him. Thrown in, out of position, at RWB when he wasn't fit and held the fort down. Now he's been unceremoniously dumped - I'd be looking to leave too.
  16. Very naughty from Archer that. Injures the Blackpool keeper with a reckless tackle, then shushes the Blackpool away support when he scores.
  17. Hedges has yet to start a game and has about 80 mins total on the pitch since he arrived.
  18. Some of them weren't allowed the time to do a worse job...
  19. Mowbray consistently gets favourable coverage - whenever we're on SKY, rather than calling him out as a moron, they simply say we're having a poor run of form, but he's a good manager. Our card was marked with the Kean protests ("how dare little old Rovers complain about the treatment of their club - they should be grateful anyone wants to own / manage them") - and quite frankly that's why I don't bat an eyelid when teams go under. I hope Derby are next - the football community turned their backs on us that day and I feel nothing for any of them now.
  20. He has delusions of grandeur - I gather it's because he's a bit thick. He fancies himself as a tactical genius - I recall during the 2021 death spiral that he didn't feel the need to explain his tactics to the fans, as an individual who has been involved in football man and boy he was simply operating on a different level and it wasn't worth his time. If the Venkys offer him a new contract there'll be one more empty seat in the Jack Walker Stand next season - I can't stand the bloke and his ineptitude.
  21. They'll come down with huge PL parachute payments and (I assume) Dyche. The roles have been completely reversed from the 90's / 00's. They're a significantly stronger club than we are at the moment. Thank you, Venkys.
  22. He had a bad game as a LWB until we reverted to a back 4, then he played well as a LB. He's simply not athletic enough to boss an entire flank on his own.
  23. Their #17 should have been sent off for twisting Wharton's leg / ankle on the ground. He went on to score the equaliser.
  24. Bloody typical for us to run into the one ref in the league that punishes teams for time wasting when we're out on our feet with an injured RB and no subs left.
