The price tag clearly has no bearing as Mowbray wouldn't play him for a year. He's one of the first names on the teamsheet for mine. I absolutely am watching this and he's doing ok - he's just one of the whipping boys so anything short of looking like Ronaldo and he's 'shit'. -

That makes no sense - put us away early so you can coast the rest of the game if you're that good. The OP is correct, it's a shit league. Norwich just have a bit more class than the rest so they take their chances. -

He's a CF asked to play as an IF on the right (he's usually asked to do that job on the left). He gets through SO much work in defence and attack - it's obvious when he's not on the field. It's not like his teammates are putting him in for gilt-edged chances and he's fluffing them. -

Why are we focusing on Brereton? He's been fine. I think you're all expecting miracles from the lad. He didn't buy himself. Like many of our players it'd also help if he was played in his actual position. -

He really is playing Buckley as a False 9. Bloody hell. You literally have a £7m striker on the pitch who you've NEVER given a shot playing through the middle. How is this man still managing this football club?! -

He has £12m of striking talent fit. Why does he need to call up an Academy player (I'd call the mot promising ones up anway) as an emergency!? -

Agree to disagree - he's been a standout player playing centrally. -

Rothwell has proven he can't play wide left. I think he's a fantastic CM, but he rarely gets to play there. Is Davenport injured? -

We've got an international break coming up, no? We've got to get Evans fit for Northern Ireland... -
He's only 20! He's looked solid when I've seen him. A better manager would have given him a game or two in the First XI.
-
This Greek GK doesn't command his box at all.
-
He was so good that Burnley sent him back. They just didn't know what they had on their hands.
-
Nvm it's Adam Wharton on the bench, not Scott.

Rovers v Bristol City - 17/03/21

The squad is lacking quality in terms of 'if we went up and didn't buy 10 new starters we'd be murdered every week'. That said, if a manager came in and played these players in their correct positions / to their strengths we'd be pushing for automatic promotion (albeit we're probably a striker light for that). It's a terrible league and our bench is the envy of many. That's not even including the promising Academy players he refuses to use. -
Runs through the team, unfortunately. Rovers would have been well within their rights to walk off the pitch at full time without acknowledging the Brentford players (they committed so many cynical fouls it was untrue - and obviously gave away two blatant penalties and dived for one of their own) or the referee. Instead it's handshakes, hugs, well played etc. "Job done".
-
I genuinely won't be here if that happens.

Besides the £12m on two young strikers (I happen to think Brereton is a good player, but I'm in the minority there), the fact that we have 5 loanees at the club and are going backwards in the table is astounding. What, exactly, is he building?! How Mowbray has the gall to turn up to training every week is beyond me. Man of honour indeed.

IF we bring in a new manager it's quite refreshing actually. The ones in bold below are deadwood. I'd offer JRC a new contract - I'm amazed they haven't already. I'd love to sell Armstrong too.
