4-5-1, gentlemen (and ladies), it's the future. We need points and we need them now - there's no point trying (and failing) to play football when you don't have the team to do it (be it through a lack of activity in the transfer window, the reluctance to drop underperforming players, or indeed injuries). It's sad to see, but this season is about survival right now. Bring back Mokoena into the spoiler role and let's grind out some results.

And for all those Carolina Panther fans (....just me then ). Almost team I support has laid down and died within 24 hours (The Oakland Athletics are on their offseason, otherwise I'm sure they'd have followed suit). It's days like this where I hate sport. As for the game, well by the sounds of it they fully deserved it. Once again we failed to turn up and the front two were non-existant.

I thought Bentley had some neat touches and, most importantly, looked to simply keep possession. He's a long way away from claiming the Tugay role, but I agree, he flashed the potential on Saturday.

Benni or Shefki - it's not a difficult choice really. I agree with Joey, Nonda is the far superior player, but the sheer size and work ethic of Shefki is missed, especially off the bench.

Isn't he scoring again, albeit in the Championship. As for SWP being better than Bellamy, well I'm inclined to agree - especially when you factor in personality and proneness to injury.

Too much, and yes, they're a selling club.

It'd be an absolute huge signing for our team, finally providing us with some much needed pace in midfield. The fact that he can consistently beat his man, nick the odd goal or two and provide service to our front two wouldn't go amiss either. Alas, Chelski are asking for £10m for him, minimum - about £6m outside of our price range. Plus, half of the Prem (the half that can afford him) is after his signature.

Nonda should have scored twice, likewise Savage probably should have scored. That said, your lot need to learn to put their foot through the ball. You had a lot of tame shots. All in all, I'm happy with a draw. We're not playing well, we were away from home and we're still struggling to cope without Reid and Nelsen. A place in the last 32 isn't too shabby.

Nonda has absolutely no confidence in front of goal, he should have buried both his chances. Time for Jeffers methinks.

Did Gamst just get spat on? Either we're really good in Europe, or this side are crap. Whereas we've struggled to link up with the forwards in the Prem, tonight they're running the show.
