  1. He simply wasn't ready for first team football when he played for us - showed flashes, but looked raw. We wouldn't have signed Sanderson or Batth if he'd have stayed, so he'd have got plenty of football for the club that discovered and nurtured him. Alas he's a Judas mercenary.
  2. No, probably not, but I can't morally financially support this club any longer.
  3. We've been dealing in cheap loans and journeyman free agents rather than marquee cash signings (Dack renewed contract, Armstrong, Gallagher, Brereton-Diaz) for the last 5 years and the wage budget hasn't decreased according to the accounts. Ayala and Downing wouldn't have been cheap either. There's absolutely no way we're even sniffing the wage bill of that side you listed. Who is the money being spent on!?
  4. I've always liked the phrase 'cock womble'.
  5. We wouldn't be able to function - you need someone (or a consortium) who can find the funds to initially buy the thing (whatever nonsense value the Venkys put on it) and absorb tens of millions of pounds a year in losses whilst you got the club back on it's feet.
  6. As much as I hate the owners and their stooges, we haven't missed Lenihan one bit.
  7. You are correct. Why would someone accused of fraud every commit fraud at another one of their companies? It's inconceivable.
  8. They're being investigated for fraud for a reason.
  9. He laid one on a plate for Forshaw and had a tap in if Dolan ever learned to look up. His performance yesterday is being blown wildly out of proportion.
  10. The ref didn't book Walsh any of the three times he did that. Personally I thought it was a coming together between two players chasing a long ball. It's a foul, but nothing more.
  11. If they think Onana is bad, heaven forbid Pears has to start games for them. Please make it happen.
  12. They created nothing before the sending off. Their only two chances were two long range efforts. We were well worth the win.
  13. Considering the starter is literally nailed onto his line it's a marked improvement.
  14. I mean he laid a sitter at the feet of Forshaw (if Forshaw had continued his run) and he was unmarked at the back post if Dolan wasn't such a greedy sod. He was fine - we know he's not Drogba, but he did his job off the bench today.
  15. I thought he was ok today. No glaring mistakes and at least he was willing to come for crosses. If he's beaten by either of those two shots that hit the bar it's a fair cop - they were both good strikes.
  16. Ohashi had fashioned a makeshift sling for his arm with this shirt - wouldn't be surprised if he's done for the season.
  17. Yeah, absolute joke. 9 minutes was far too much and then he added another 2 for the Toth injury. Only blew up when Toth made a save to end another attack. Was desperate for them to tie it up. Is he a Luton fan by any chance?
  18. Just square that to the unmarked Gueye for an easy assist. He's a brain dead player.
  19. Where the fuck has he got 9 minutes from?!
  20. To provide defensive solidity. I don't think he's given the ball away yet - he's not the player he once was, but he's done ok at covering and laying off simple passes to teammates.
  21. Rovers are the worst team I've seen all year. Genuinely - a few of the performances under the new manager have been horrific.
  22. Clarke wasn't booked for that mistimed sliding tackle because...?
  23. To hold the ball up and provide a big aerial presence in our box.
  24. Buckley got sent off for less than that...
