  1. It's like when he spoke to the media after our game and said "I spoke to Bradley - he says he's as fit as he's ever been." (he was on the bench) Just likes to stir up trouble does ol'Tone.
  2. Video is up already: https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/12936351/blackburn-rovers-4-3-walsall-carabao-cup-highlights
  3. Literally our 3rd string GK who won't play again for the first team this season, our 4th choice CB who was out injured all last year, an 18 year old LB making his 2nd / 3rd senior appearance, our 3rd choice LW etc etc. They're always tough fixtures - we brought on a few first teamers to sure it up at the end, but the result is all that matters. Those aforementioned players got a good run out too, which will only benefit them.
  4. It was apparent at the weekend - his fingerprints are all over that Sunderland team this year. It's beautiful to see.
  5. Luke Brennan is at Wigan now - just come on. "A Liverpool lad who did briefly see action at Blackburn Rovers". So you mean a Blackburn Rovers Academy graduate then, Mr Commentator.
  6. I think his namesake is a CF - and he did play there during pre-season during those double-headers, but he's a winger / #10.
  7. This is why going into the season with S. Wharton and Barnes as your backup CBs isn't viable.
  8. Haven't seen any of the goals - but I know neither Hilton or Eastham are good enough, which is why I was sweating buckets before Wahlstedt signed.
  9. It'll be Hedges wide right, Gilsenan wide left. I'd assume Buckley playing as the #10, but who knows maybe they'll want Garrett leading the press from there?
  10. We have Brittain sat on the bench too and he cost similar. He'll beat Pears out soon enough - it won't take long to establish himself as the better GK.
  11. We're watching a different game. They're the perfect Championship team - big, physical and organised. They've hardly bossed the game - we've had by far the better chances.
  12. They played over 14 minutes - if it's 30 seconds per sub then that's about right.
  13. 13 minutes. Like VAR it's a new rule that has been HORRIBLY applied.
  14. Mowbray having a tantrum on the sideline - things you love to see.
  15. Good pass, good run, horrible finish (he just lashed it - but he was so close the pace took it past the keeper).
  16. It's your typical soft-touch Mowbray team. They're always going to give teams chances.
  17. Evidently they've got money to burn, so we'll see what their squad looks like come September.
  18. There's an international break coming up - he'll be saving himself for that. Sunderland look devoid of ideas without Diallo.
  19. I thought he was ok yesterday, besides an excellent finish for his goal. If we keep him (I'm sure they'll entertain offers) I think he has to play as a #10 behind Szmodics. I think that would hide his flaws (size / lack of pace) and accentuate his strengths (ball control / finishing).
