  1. Some of the photos on the facebook page are heartbreaking. A truly sad, sad day in the history of Blackburn Rovers. R.I.P John - may your Rovers get the win tomorrow that your dedicated support deserves
  2. if anyone would like to shift a copy of this, please let me know. I'm willing to pay a decent price thanks Sam
  3. RIP Bobby. A true gent and a legend in the game. sore sore loss
  4. what worries me is how people like steve bruce who is working with alot worse squad is able to get big victories against us, sunderland today, and liverpool midweek, and we are proving embarassing time and time again there is always the new manager aspect, but clearly something is wrong with the unity of our squad in terms of attitude where no-one seems to trust each other, basic mistakes are being made, and no-one generally seems to give 2 s**ts. it needs sorting, and it needs sorting now
  5. interesting piece by john cross in the mirror today, don't know if anyone saw? i to like David Bentley more and more the more i hear him speak for those who hav'nt seen: "don't call me unpatriotic"
  6. lost respect for the guy here. absolutely no need for this to come out now, especially when only last week he said he was happy playing with robbo and that if blackburn want him to stay thats fine, hes 'just a player'. forget the premiership, its the foreign champions league clubs sniffing around that could prove ultimately costly
  7. my main worry at the moment is that it is extremely difficult to see where our goals amongst our strikers are going to come from. we've had a few tap in's recently, but take them away and it looks scarce
  8. you won't beat the balti pies from the midlands! awesome stuff
  9. lets face it, it we wanted Dunn he would come. The fact that his is close to signing for Bolton suggests that we have decided to pass up the offer. I am yet to disagree with Hughes' judgment on players he has signed, so as good as it would be to see Dunn again in a rovers shirt its time to leave the sentiment behind and trust Hughes who has failed to disappoint so far
  10. yes it was not a good result, yes once again we are all frustrated and quite frankly annoyed that once again we are crap against a worse team, but to bet against your own team i find disgraceful and uncalled for. It aint always easy, but you should be supporting your team whatever, whoever
  11. exactly the same has happened with mine this season, after ONE wash. same happened last aswell. going to have to handwash them now i used to spend a good hour in the club shop prior to games, now its literally more like five minutes
  12. trevor francis signed aj as part of the clinton morrison to big club move, not ian dowie im afraid mate
  13. would definately be a good move, as unlikely that it is. but the next beckham name would surely be: samlesbury-bottom beckham
  14. I can only speak for my case, but both last night and the salzburg game I have looked into coming, as I'd gladly pay £15 for european football at ewood. however, travelling from leeds without the possibility of a car is simply not possible due to the train times. the last train out of blackburn is around 9.15, which entirely stops a few travelling I imagine. I'm not sure how feasible to look into getting extra later trains it is, obviously its a tall order getting a rail company to do so. Until I can afford a car or get a lift i won't be able to make any european home games
  15. kinda related in a way, but is the only place to get last season's review still the ticket office? or is it in the shop yet?
  16. not an own goal as such, but does anyone remember when liverpool beat us 3-0 at home (i think, i was quite young) when Mcmanaman scored, after inexplainably darren peacock belted the ball in the corner at mid-riff height towards john filan, so he had to pull off a good save which Macca jusyt belted in the rebound?! o hang on there is an explanation. It was Darren Peacock
  17. --> QUOTE(ste b @ Aug 23 2006, 17:43 ) 438079[/snapback] Nathan Blake signed for Newport today after having a year out. haha, a forced year though wasn't it? didn't i hear that he got caught smoking 'de erb'
  18. andy todd is a liability. hughes has to make the difficult decision of taking the captaincy off him sooner rather than later. the first choice centre halves must be ooijer and nelsen. main plus I took from last nites game was the touches of McCarthy - first time I have seen him play other than in highlights. Once he has adjusted further and settles in with Roberts we should have a good partnership up there
  19. the best shirt must be the 94/95 shirt, ive just got my one through the post from ebay and its a classic. as for whoever suggested last seasons shirt is like a dream compared to the new 1, that doesnt fill me with a lot of confidence!
  20. anybody know if these can still be bought anywhere, or does anyone for some bizarre reason have any unused? Ive recently purchased the 95-96 shirt and I wan't to make it complete! please rack your brains for me
  21. i love this series. I was never really much of a johnny Depp fan but hes simply awesome in these films! Can't wait for it to come out on dvd, and then the third film to come out!
  22. send me a pm chap, I'm more than happy to send you at least three. It won't be until the end of the month tho...is that alright?
  23. cue Neil warnock. he hasnt signed a striker for a few weeks he will be having withdrawals
