  1. How do you view what others have written? I can only see what pascha has written or liked himself
  2. We have never had that run of form you talk about under Mowbray I’m the championship. There is literally nothing on display to suggest we will go on such a run; it’s far more likely this poor run will continue. This team has big problems, created by Mowbray, thst he himself has no ability to sort.
  3. Twitter 95% against Mowbray in replying to @rovers full time except some guy who wants to raise a statue to Mowbray 🤷‍♂️🤦
  4. When was the last time a manager resigned? In fact, Holloway did a few days ago! Before that however? Years. They lose their pay off then. We will find out if Mowbray is the honourable guy people hold him to be.
  5. Greater good. im certainly not watching anymore this season whilst Mowbray remains so would be the better outcome
  6. Apathy. I want to feel excitement again! This won’t happen until after Mowbray
  7. Probably one of the only positives of the COVID situation for me, since September, and living on Shropshire, has been the ability to watch the rovers every weekend. Really excited come the start of the season. Sadly for me that had already become malaise and I have not bothered with the last 3 games, spending those 2 hours with the kids instead. inevitable Mowbray numbness. be great just to have some new ideas with a new man and a clearly talented squad rather than excuses and what ifs for another season
  8. Poor performance but a win. Well I never. tough on millwall as I think they should have had at least 1 pen for Ayala handball. next 3 games could be defining
  9. Haha, funnily enough, I had already shown my wife the rainbow GK version of this. Didn’t go down too well.
  10. Buoyed by our win yesterday I thought about picking up a training zip top despite only being £5 off and still being £50 with postage. Checked today, only XL+ left. So I thought I would go for a long sleeve home shirt. Doesn't appear we ever sold them for this season? Disappointing, and money still in bank account. Will have to spend it on something sensible like the kids Christmas or put it towards the kitchen redesign fund. How boring
  11. Thoroughly enjoyable result and great to see Dolan given his chance. Means nothing though if we can’t now go and beat Barnsley and get some consistency going.
  12. Crikey That was a very boring watch. Devoid of ideas and could not do any basics right. The difference between a well set up Warnock team and Mowbray’s lack of ideas was starkly apparent. We are a very bang average team on that performance. i guess the best thing you could say is that we defended well. However, having to do that so often was entirely our fault by the stupid needless fouls given away and our complete inability to hold up the ball or even make simple passes to players in our own shirt. pears was much better and Wharton did well when he came on. Only positives. If I was an opposition manager and pears was in goal however, my instruction would be just put it on him all of the time. No command of area or 6 yard box whatsoever.
  13. Mowbray has stated in LET that kaminski will not be likely to make it and thus it will be Pears in goal again. Get your bets on a resounding home win now.
  14. He requires some shooting practice, that’s for sure. Quite a few tame daisy cutters along the floor. definitely improving though, credit to him. gallagher on the other hand...god knows what Mowbray is trying to achieve by putting him on the right. ?‍♂️
  15. Dire performance so far. Defence is shocking. looks like Warnock was right on pears
  16. I’m not a rugby league fan no, but the BBC have been doing a great job of raising the profile of MND, regularly catching up with rob burrow, doddle weir and Steven Darby. Sadly there are more parallels with the speed of Rob Burrow’s deterioration and that of my dad compared to Doddie Weir. They all tackle it head on with a smile: huge credit to them. one blessing, if you can call it that, is grieving during that person still being around. You can make memories. I did the Shrewsbury half marathon pushing my dad around only a month before he went. Great day out for all with such amazing support. My dad was an old PE teacher and yet it was the first half marathon he’d done! apologies for derailing the transfer thread folks
  17. Very sorry to hear of your loss pal. Lost my dad the same way in December, just around 2 years following diagnosis. found it absolutely ridiculous that MND sufferers weren’t put on shielding/vulnerable list given the breathing problems that the illness develops. good man Mike E for your charitable donations. I will reciprocate to the deaf society in kind ?
  18. Listened to this whilst running - great episode, thank you. my rovers support resonates a lot with Matt’s. I too wanted the 93-94 flowers multicoloured and jewelled gk top but was disappointed for it to be sold out. Therefore, my first rovers shirt was the equivalent yellow gk top which, although well worn, was never quite the same. Thankfully, I fulfilled a dream in the mid 2000s and got the shirt I always craved from classic football shirts in their early years. It now sits pride of place in my collection. Thank you also for the episode with Andy Bayes discussing MND and Len Johnrose. It was very well done and informative to those who do not know a lot about it. My dad died in December after a 2 year battle with MND which robbed us of a great man and deprived my children of ever really knowing their grandad. My old man used to referee Sunday league so that he could buy us tickets to head up the M6 from Stafford to Ewood on a monthly basis. An old gooner, he fully embraced my support for Rovers and had a lot of time for the club and it’s people pre Venkys. He always thought rovers a great family club. Since he was diagnosed, as a family we have raised around 20k for the Motor Neurone Disease association. It is great that the BBC continues to raise the profile of MND and those who suffer from what is one of the most cruellest of illnesses. We shall continue to fundraise so that hopefully a cure will be found one day. Keep fighting Len.
