  1. Every online piece has to be taken with a pinch of salt, the majority are either agents or a club looking to put a name out there or improve a bargaining position with someone else
  2. Just read this back, Christ I'm scraping the barrel for rumours
  3. Has Savage deleted his laughing emoji post in reply to the link to Rovers? I can't see it any more...
  4. Out of interest, has he been spotted at the game tonight...?
  5. Odd logic that tonight isn't on sky but the rearranged ipswich game was? Regardless, I don't see big changes in line up tonight - all the prep was done by Ismael so it would be a big cal for DJ to change that all in 24hrs. I expect all the big name players to start but potentially need to come off after 60 so we could do with being 2 ahead by then. The really interesting position is on the left, if Pickering plays that possibly tells a story
  6. Wayne Rooney would be interested in this and without a doubt would catch the eye of decision makers. He'd be a great distraction for RG and SP.
  7. The soccer bible interview is really hard reading. What have we become.
  8. Christ almighty, these lot think they're on Traitors
  9. Has the background story to these clips appeared anywhere? A suggestion as to when recorded, who the other voice is and perhaps most pertinently why they're being released now?
  10. Well this guy certainly sounds like a serious poster and definitely isn't just on the wind up
  11. Good work Mercer. If you're right about this can we assume you're also right about the bid for the club and all is going to be well?
  12. I've had a suspicion there could be something going on with the desperate need for cash being evident in every offer the club spew out...that said, I'm so desperate for that to be the case I'll believe anything so I'm on board the Mercer Hype Train
  13. This thread is so sad! I wish the Rao family understood the human impact of their inaction.
  14. I think it's tempting to believe that because then a change of manager is an easy fix but in my view this is the worst Blackburn Rovers squad I have ever seen and I don't know how we can expect anything more than *possibly* escaping relegation. That's as good as it gets which is so sad. The effort is still there from all rhe players which suggests to me they have faith in the manager, that's what I think will get us 20th.
  15. At absolutely no point did I even consider we'd win that shoot out! This run is not Ismaels fault, there is no manager that could put together more wins with these players and the hollowed out shell of a club the Rao family have created. To think otherwise is playing into Pashas hand who will be hard at work thinking about who his next straw man is. Don't fall for it.
  16. A minor point but it keeps distracting me that the word "off" is in different places within the main sentence at the top and then the bottom
  17. The letter encapsulates exactly my feelings and those of my family. I really hope its at least read in India as my suspicion is we are close to the end game here. Well done to all who have had involvement.
  18. Ah that's a shame, OK thanks
  19. Afternoon all, apologies for dragging this one up again! I've seen a post via the x page of kidderstnoise suggesting ticket holders for this (presumably if you didn't then take a half price ticket for the rearranged game) are entitled to a 40% refund as per the efl policy. I've emailed the club who state that's not the case, has anyone had any success with this?
  20. I can't figure out Gardner-Hickman, he never seems to do that much and yet when he's not on the field we seem to be overrun in midfield far more easily
  21. In response to messages re TV that the system won't let me quote...I was of the understanding this is a rescheduled sat 3pm game and therefore couldn't be shown on sky sports + but you're right, it is now showing on the schedule
  22. Probably not the right thread but as good as any.... A thought has crossed my mind, are Rovers in more financial strife than we realise? It feels to me that the discounts on shirts, clothing ranges, hospitality and other areas are significantly more prevalent than they have been before. There's also the recent oddly structured flexible ticket, weirdness around a 150th anniversary shirt, cost cutting on the anniversary celebration itself. We're used to ridiculousness over the last 15yrs but that's never translated yet to what appears to be a desperate need to get cash into the club. Throw in the relatively recent apparent finalisation of a court case, possible venkys share price drop and what can only be described as a complete reluctance to hire a CEO and I just wonder if things are worse then we know
  23. Initial thoughts: Miller looked knackered and I think probably injured but there's no options off the bench. Gudjohnsen should score the 2nd. De Neve didn't understand the system and was badly exposed defensively. Forshaw was too slow to adapt to the game, their goal came from a lack of grip in midfield that became apparent as soon as Taylor Hickman went off. Gueye honestly offers nothing. Pears was fine Pratt was good Hedges was mostly good until his final ball. The shot he pulled to the left should have been a pass and a tap in for at least 2 rovers players in the box. Ultimately we could easily have won the game, it was fine margins but as ever - the quality of players means we lose those tight matches and that comes down, ultimately, to Gestede and Pasha.
  24. It just occurred to me that the rumoured 4th kit still hasn't been announced which surely means, with less than a week to go, it isn't going to exist now?
