  1. Why? We never look like scoring, we certainly won't be going the rest of the season undefeated.
  2. Does make me laugh that everyone is pinning there hopes on the next 3 home games. We have gone nearly a quarter of a season now scoring only 3 goals, conceding 8, taking 12 points from the last 33. We aren't going to suddenly start scoring goals to beat these frustrating mid table sides, we'll get 4 points at best and plod on. Another classic Mowbray run.
  3. Its actually 3 separate prices for Rovers fans. £18 to sit in the family area £20 in the away end if a season ticket holder £25 in the away end if a non season ticket holder
  4. Only 1 win in 6 against the other 3.
  5. I keep saying this, but why wouldn't they? Looking in from the outside they must see that Mowbray has had 5 years to build his squad and run the club how he sees fit, operated under very little pressure, only had to sell one lf his players in his 5 years here, had a decent budget to buy young strikers and players. Even got to employ his own CEO. Who wouldn't want some of that?!
  6. Another classic Mowbray run this. Everyone bangs on about Rovers "being terrible on sky" or the "February curse" both of these things only came around when Mowbray rocked up. Look at his past seasons, not just in charge here but anywhere. Middlesbrough 11-12 - 2nd at Christmas, finished 7th Middlesbrough 12-13 - 3rd at Christmas, finished 16th Coventry 15-16 - 4th at Christmas, finished 8th Rovers 18-19 - 8th and 2 points off the play offs in January, finished 15th Rovers 19-20 - 8th and 3 points off the play offs at Christmas, finished 11th Rovers 20-21 - 8th at the end of January 3 points off the play offs, finished 15th. We'll drop out of the top 6 this weekend and won't get anywhere near it again. The bloke is an utter disaster. Mowbray out.
  7. They are talking about where we will be at 5pm Saturday though. So if we won tonight and on Saturday, and Bournemouth slipped up on sat as they don't play this midweek, we could be 2nd. We won't be though 😆
  8. Yeah if we lose tonight all of a sudden the gap to 7th is only 2 points. I predict we'll be pretty much out of the running by the international break.
  9. Probably doesn't know who Ben Benson is.
  10. I just think we don't need to see it. The social media era though i suppose.
  11. All a bit cringe i thought.
  12. Maja was just an option as the poster asked for one. He scored 2 in 2 before getting covid didnt he? I'm sure there were others about if we tried hard enough. Too busy messing about with Hedges, who might be useful a this level next season, but who i predict will contribute nothing in the run in.
  13. I wouldn't be worrying about play off tickets when we have scored 2 goals so far in 2022.
  14. Maja. The same folk on here suggesting its not a disaster that we didn't bring in a striker after Markandey was injured are the same folk who will be saying what a great season we have had when we finish 8th.
  15. Two starts all season. Plenty of sub appearances though. 0 goals.
  16. Not really, because Hudds and Luton were both poor as well, I was at both games. 4 points dropped, and yeah fair enough we were solid enough defensively, but I think "rotten" is a pretty accurate description of our performance in both games going forward. One shot on target over the two, and that was a tame free kick!
  17. Yeah Sheringham was a great player. I think his partnership with Shearer for England though didn't really start until a year or so after we won the title. I thought Ferdinand would have been perfect to compliment Shearer and Sutton in 1995, Ferdinand and Shearer would go on to have a brilliant partnership in the 96-97 season too.
  18. Not sure that will matter to be honest. A play off home semi final, and a final at Wembley there will be more than enough tickets for demand. A play off semi final away game should go to ST holders + x amount of away games first.
  19. Just because we got draws against sides in decent form doesn't mean we weren't really poor in both games!
  20. I bet his first game back will be Reading on the 19th March then goes away with Chile straight after.
  21. Never works that, for us anyway. Several times this year we have had a time advantage to be more prepared than our opposition and each time we have been dreadful. Extra 24 hours on Huddersfield - we were rotten Extra 24 hour on Hull - we were rotten Extra 24 hours on Luton - we were rotten Swansea played midweek while we had a midweek off- we were rotten I think we know what happens on Wednesday. We'll be 2 down in 20 minutes and go down pretty meekly without threatening.
  22. I thought it was Mark Kennedy that Dalglish wanted from Milwall? Can't remember Sinclair links to be honest but of course not saying they didn't happen.
  23. Southgate was a midfielder back in 1995, it was at Aston Villa where he got converted to centre half. I thought 1 strong signing in each of the central positions was what was needed to sustain another challenge the year after. Plus maybe a left winger to cover Wilcox who was out for the first half of the 95/96 season.
  24. Agree that it shows how far we have come on over the past 12 months. Last season though we had a 1-1 draw with Norwich in Mowbrays 2 wins in 17 spiral. Yes decent result in isolation, but still part of a horrible run. 0-0 with WBA whilst on paper isn't a bad result, isn't really a good result in my eyes looking at there results recently, and 1 win and 1 goal in 6 is certainly a downward spiral compared to our form behind that.
