Yeah Brown will get 60 minutes, and considering Butterworth went to Portugal over Burns I'm sure he will get some minute's too. I also don't think he will go for a strongest 11 and a second string 11, think it will be two mixed sides.

I'd take him definitely. Not a chance we would be able to get it done though. I'm quite happy for the academy lads to be on the fringes of the side and in the match day squad, getting some good minutes here and there, that's why i dont think we need as many players as previously thought. I think we desperately need a RB, CB, CM and a Striker who can all come straight into the first 11.

I think someone at the club will have leaked that out to him to make it look like things are happening. Yep all down to salary, if us and Sheffield Utd offered him the exact same deal i imagine he will have come here. Even an extra 5k a week the player will always go for the cash. I think the contract debacle here over the past 12/18 months shows that we are unable or unwilling to pay the going rate for anyone to come in and significantly improve us, it's all about hoping the kids step up so we can increase there wage ever so slightly over the next few years.
