Bristol city ticket what a joke
Ricky replied to Michael123458's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I’m still deciding if I’ll make the trip from Hereford. Wednesdays are a bit manic with the kids clubs so the wife will need to do all of the pick ups. It is however my Birthday on Thursday so I may be able to use that as an excuse lol -

Of course it’s backed up on here, it’s a fans site lol. Fact is that he doesn’t have to be right in front of the keeper, it’s about being in his peripheral vision. Sammy jumps over the bloody ball, of course he’s interfering. You’d be crying if that goal was given against us. Same with the Wharton foul. It’s a clear foul on the keeper. No doubt about it at all. They should have had a pen when the absolutely hapless Callum Brittain decided to just pull Broadbent back. You would have been sobbing into your blue and white tinted glasses if that had been at the other end!!! The only one that I struggled to understand was the foul on Pickering after the ball had been played. He seemed to be taken out but nobody seemed to say much about it. The ball had gone but I’ve seen those given. Pleased i took the 16/1 on relegation now. It’s nailed on after this new clown at the helm has proven that he can’t get a note out of the depleted squad either. It’s on Venkys, we’ve sold and sold and sold but not been able to bring in any real quality in the areas needed. We spunked all of our budget on an even worse keeper than Pears!!! Fuck knows how we managed to do that!!! -

Callum Brittain must have won a competition to play for us. Lovely hairband, looks just like a footballer -

Should have been behind to a penalty but behind to an awful Pears effort. Good job we got rid of Kaminski for him and then spunked all of our budget on an even worse back up. We are an absolute laughing stock -
We are going down (the pessimism thread)
Ricky replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We needed wins against Plymouth and Millwall (so of course we decided to play with an additional CB). Plymouth battered us. Our form is a worry and we have a tough run in. Sheffield Wednesday game becomes another must win. We’ll play 5 at the back and get a draw or lose to a late scrappy set piece. -
For me it’s been on Moran more so than Buckley today but both have struggled in there. Moran off at HT
-
Moran with the mistake to allow the cross and then literally just walked back as the Swansea player carried the ball into the box. He’s at fault for that goal for me tbf.
-
Moran at fault for both goals. He’s really not the Irish Foden. He’s absolutely fucking bang average and won’t have a career above championship level.

I had him to score and be booked in a 40/1 double. Once they went down to 10 early doors I did think it might be on!

Their fans were kicking off last time and throwing things over the fences. They’d won the match as well! -
Rovers Rumours & Speculation
Ricky replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Just catching up, has there still been no comment from Greg? Seems odd for someone who seems to like to speak to the press to have zero comment after a window where we sold a player for a record fee, screwed up a signing and then sacked a manager. Surely any one of those would usually result in some sort of statement -
John Eustace - our head coach
Ricky replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Birmingham fans were gutted when he went. I know quite a few who have been saying what a good appointment it is for us so let’s wait and see. His first game will be against his old team where he’ll be up against Mowbray. -
John Eustace - our head coach
Ricky replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
JDT didn’t really seem to have much say in the incomings so makes no odds who the head coach is. I’m still assuming Boughton is here as it’s weird that there’s been nothing from him since the January shit show -
John Eustace - our head coach
Ricky replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He also understands working at a shit show of a club as Birmingham were in a mess when he was there. -
That *was* the January Window
Ricky replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Has Boughton actually not said anything since the end of the window over a week ago? Surely he should be making some sort of statement or has he also gone? -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
Ricky replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
So tomorrow we have arguably our biggest game of the season tomorrow and the manager is today saying his goodbyes. So we will be going into that game massively unprepared. Lump on Stoke for the win tomorrow! -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
Ricky replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
For me it comes down to the statements from last year about the steps he had put in place to ensure this couldn’t happen again, it did happen again. On that basis he has to take some responsibility. He may not be the one to click the button but after last season he needs to be on it and checking. I’d also argue that his overall record with the transfers justifies a sacking anyway. Spunking £500k on the worst keeper we’ve had at Ewood when we have no money is probably enough to warrant a P45. -

Yep, following up on my similar comments to yours. His signings probably make for a sackable offence alone. Leo for half a million is probably the worst of them. Number one target and definitely a vampire keeper. I can see no value in keeping him based on what he’s delivered. I would think JDT could have picked up some better players through his contacts. -

I still find it odd that someone who likes the sound of his own voice as much has boughton does has been silent since the mess occurred which he said could never happen again. After his statements from last year his position is untenable. He took the blame for Sylvesters cock up last year and assured us that it couldn’t happen again. That alone means it’s time up for him as well. His silence probably speaks volumes. I’m guessing he’s agreeing a package to leave. -

And still not a word from Boughton. Surely after all the shit he spouted about putting things in place he should be called to task on this. -

You also had us to spend £10m plus in the transfer window mate. Doesn’t mean it will happen. -

J*B last paragraph is interesting. Something that they have agreed not to share yet, that sounds awfully like a manager having the boot. -

He played last night. He can’t be that far away surely! -

Absolutely. When we’d agreed a fee for about half this previously.
