  1. But then there’s a load of kids in that 10,000, so surely not 2000?
  2. Sorry unless I’m missing something here If 90% are double jabbed and therefore they have the Covid Pass - how are 2000 of our 18+ match goers not eligible for a pass? We are only just scraping past 10,000 to start with!
  3. Or Burnley, Preston, Bolton and most other professional football clubs. For someone who is supposedly repeatedly telling the club about how poor their commercial operation is, he ain’t half defending it on here…
  4. There’s a number of websites these days that offer better quality gifts than that shambolic offering down Ewood. Same old cheap crap for years, and now they can’t even seem to keep the big ticket item that are the kits in stock for more than a few months a year…
  5. Amazes me that so many folk just can’t seem to grasp that some fans aren’t die hards, don’t spend the day on Rovers forums/social media or chatting on WhatsApp groups or even reading the LT articles - they will just dip in and out of the club, go to a game when they fancy, go when they like the price, prefer going away etc etc. Fanbases are made up of all sorts.
  6. You’ve an odd definition of moaning, chadster.
  7. Hang on, haven’t you kept saying that Swag and the whole commercial operation is crap at Ewood? Yet here you are saying fans just won’t put money into the club, so what difference will a better commercial team make then?
  8. You a shareholder of the app developers or what? 😁
  9. ‘I don’t care about what other clubs are doing’ is your usual line, Chaddy. So why you bringing Burnley into this?
  10. Like when he opened the ‘1875 lounge’ in the Darwen End with just the standard concourse cheap lager and ‘dark fruits’ on tap at the usual ridiculous prices. All within a conference type room far more sterile than the not exactly bouncing Blues Bar, and was surprised when no bugger went in it. Get some rotating ales on, open it up for large away followings so they don’t all head for the Fernhurst etc etc etc. All sorts you can do with our existing infrastructure. But nah, all half hearted ‘initiatives’, and shrugged shoulders all round when they don’t work.
  11. Or screen grab it. I went to a gig and knew it would probably have a poor 4g/Wi-Fi connection for connecting to the app.
  12. What a candidate! ’Kean is already at Hibs after taking up a role as Academy director recently but he has top-level managerial experience after a stint in charge of Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League. Kean has an impressive coaching CV too after spells with the likes of Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry as well as working abroad in Australia and Brunei.’
  13. ‘I was brought up on the mean streets of Cumbernauld, the east end of Glasgow, Leith’.
  14. Da Vinci, Einstein, Mowbray.
  15. The replacement Riverside was always a piss poor, cheap make do job, it’s only four years older than the Jack Walker and look at the state of it! The original Riverside was a ‘non generic’ stand with ‘essence’, not that present carbuncle.
  16. Sure he was provided with some ‘data’ from the various wonks. Common sense out the window…
  17. Green pitch, overcast, Broad in great form against their top order. So let’s win the toss and get bowling… Toss won, Broad dropped and choose to bat 🤦‍♂️
  18. FFP doesn’t impact infrastructure improvements. And something will need to be done with it medium term, though I imagine they’ll just shut it on ‘safety grounds’ like Barnsley have just done with one of their stands. FYI - It’s not the fanbase asking for a new Riverside, we are all aware of how empty Ewood is, but some big idea out of the mouth of Swag, that then gets quietly dropped… like the Tony Parkes tribute and many others.
  19. Tight budgets, but debt free with local owners to… tight budgets, loaded with debt by US private equity owners.
  20. We didn’t leave the top 6, but the wheels came off big time back end of the season, we thought we had a sniff at the title going in to the new year and then lost 9 times February onwards. That bad form carried on into 98/99 and the rest is history.
  21. But with four months left on contracts you wouldn’t be ‘cashing in’ on the likes of Lenihan and Rothwell. You’d be getting a pittance, and for that pittance you could be risking the chance of a real ‘cash in’ - promotion!
  22. There a 🦜 in here?
  23. Don’t know, they have often moved quite quickly for managers, Lambert and a whole new coaching staff were in post very quickly after Bowyer. Mowbray was in a day after Coyle was potted. And of course he who must not be named didn’t hang about to get in Sam’s chair. Now you may not particularly rate said appointees, but there’s obviously folk greasing the wheels down there when it comes to manager appointments…
