  1. Indeed it is, there you go then, even more batshit.
  2. Usually it’s five EFL games at 12.30 on a Saturday, but just one on a Friday night, one Sunday 3pm. That makes sense how?
  3. I’d say it’s the FA’s voracious pursuit of money - also see semi finals at Wembley.
  4. Young Joe! He used to get very huffy if we ever questioned ‘The Data’… but he’s the one living the dream at Barrow, so there you go!
  5. It was a midweek in January.
  6. ST income very much so, it’s one of the few things they do care about, it pays Swag’s bonus for a start.
  7. They won’t do it for a full season, certainly not for the whole ground, would see steep falls in ST sales.
  8. I honestly think they’ll own it for generations. Unbelievable really that we’ve ended up with such a unique ownership situation, in which they are not remotely interested in the club, but won’t countenance selling it either.
  9. The likes of Swag operate in the interests of the owners, not for the betterment of Blackburn Rovers.
  10. His attitude is very much is in question as I've heard it directly from a member of the Brockhall medical staff that Eustace has been less than impressed with him - Tronstadt chucking him a piece of cloth for five minutes is neither here nor there. That's what I've been told, take it or leave it.
  11. I've heard his attitude is very much in question when it comes to putting it in at Brockhall...
  12. Considering how poor the output from the academy has been re strikers, I suppose just getting a game in the Championship would make Leonard ‘generational’.
  13. ‘Generational talent’, Leonard? Like the lad, but a tad hyperbolic there…
  14. ‘Ball playing midfielder’. Been a long time since that description fit Buckley, ‘ambling about half arsed with his head in the clouds midfielder’ would be more apt.
  15. Better all round footballer than Vale, better attitude too, alas just like him, he can’t put the ball in the net, which is kind of important for a striker (or maybe it isn’t these days as he can just miss kick it for a ‘goal involvement’ instead).
  16. He’ll be absolutely rolling in it. No chance he dives back in at a non parachute Championship club. He’ll bide his time until a PL club is panicking. The new Big Sam on that score.
  17. Thought the clubs wanted more games, not less? Sorry that’s lucrative European games and pre season tours they want more of…
  18. Training on the Ewood pitch again, just what you want before a load of home games through January and February. Brockhall pitches frozen again, presumably. Shame we don’t have any indoor facilities down there or anything…
  19. Who doesn’t trust Eustace or think he doesn’t deserve said trust?
  20. He shouldn’t have trusted them, but from the outside you only ever get half a story, hearsay. Now on the inside I imagine he’s still surprised by the lack of professional courtesy and ethics at this very strange football club.
  21. Who knows what he was promised on taking the job? Could’ve been ‘fuck all dosh here, John lad, but we’ll give you a nice salary and office, and we don’t sack folk, so nice cushy Championship number this, so up to you’ or ‘keep us up and due to some big sales we will have a competitive budget over the next couple of windows’. Scenario one, yep, no sympathy, ‘lie down with dogs’ and all that. Scenario 2, does he have a right to be pissed off now? Only to an extent a he should’ve done his due diligence, but he also has every right to think what an unprofessional, ragtag operation this is and be getting his CV out.
  22. I’m not saying it’s ideal, but replays were going, the elite had decreed it, but why couldn’t it have been straight to a shoot out like the League Cup?
  23. Mark predicting a comfortable win? Now I am worried! 😱
  24. How many of the 16 ties will actually kick off at Saturday 3pm? Four?
  25. Watched a bit of their tie with Bristol City, one place below us in the table. They carved them open at will at times, but to be fair they stayed in the game. It’s the speed in which they move the ball as much as the players themselves being quick that is the big difference.
