I ‘find fault’ with certain aspects of the club, well those running it, because I love Blackburn Rovers and want the best for it, so if I think Steve Waggott is a carpet bagging charlatan well out of his depth, then I’ll say so. Doesn’t make me ‘negative’, or mean I’m ‘not getting behind the club’, as WE are the club, these administrators are just the ones managing it until the next lot.

Well of course it was available at times, that was my point…

If this was a one off on the back of uniquely popular kits in the midst of a global supply chain crunch, then fair enough. But still waiting for an answer to why we ran out pre Covid, pre Brexit throughout every season under Umbro too? Didn’t recall those kits being a ‘roaring success’…

Normal , professional sport clubs don’t have their flagship merchandise product - replica kits, out of stock for months at a time, EVERY season (note how 1864 seems to keep ignoring the fact that the not particularly exciting Umbro stock was nowhere to be seen half the time either, so what was the excuse then?) ! Can’t believe what I’m reading.

Obviously this is all hypotheticals - but if he’s had word that no contract is forthcoming here, and another club, be it Ipswich or some other, is putting, say, a three year deal on the table, then a fella aged 58, with a young family, knowing it may well be his last multi year deal, would obviously have to give it some thought…

Once again, they run out of stock every season. They ran out of stock this season in late August, finally got them back on sale well into autumn , and have now run out again before Christmas! But this is ‘Good business’ and ‘a sales dream’ ! Dear me, and this is from someone who supposedly has the club’s ear to tell them of their shortcomings, they must really fear your forensic examinations 🙄

Huddersfield have the Dingles away in the cup a week later, which is pretty much a derby, and you imagine tickets will be a fair bit cheaper than £30… so many of their fans may just opt to go there instead. Another Swag masterstroke 👏

We need to put this one to bed. Does he have raw talent? Yes, but he’s now 24 and still shows no sign of the professionalism needed to make it as a pro. Poor attitude, overweight and now struggling to get into the side at Burton Albion. And Lancs is much closer to Yarm. So a mid table L1 side down in Suffolk who look a fair distance away from promotion doesn’t look exactly enticing. Though it could say something on what he expects next season’s budget to be if he does jump ship from 4th in the Championship (unless he knows no new contract is incoming).

And that fascinating insight into football shirt merchandising and the seemingly unique factors of shirts that are actually liked would be plausible… if we didn’t run out of at least one kit every season.

Sorry unless I’m missing something here If 90% are double jabbed and therefore they have the Covid Pass - how are 2000 of our 18+ match goers not eligible for a pass? We are only just scraping past 10,000 to start with!

There’s a number of websites these days that offer better quality gifts than that shambolic offering down Ewood. Same old cheap crap for years, and now they can’t even seem to keep the big ticket item that are the kits in stock for more than a few months a year…

Amazes me that so many folk just can’t seem to grasp that some fans aren’t die hards, don’t spend the day on Rovers forums/social media or chatting on WhatsApp groups or even reading the LT articles - they will just dip in and out of the club, go to a game when they fancy, go when they like the price, prefer going away etc etc. Fanbases are made up of all sorts.
