  1. Does it rile anybody else when you see clubs like Watford with halved shirts? Our heritage, fuck off!
  2. The fact the international break will purely be focused on players and fans traipsing across Europe will focus minds you’d think. So... Leeds on the Friday immediately after the break could well be the one that starts a domino effect.
  3. With you there darrener. It’s been a decade of relentless mediocrity. Yes we were used to a conveyor belt of top class footballers in the 90s and 00s, but it is striking just how few quality players we’ve seen since this lot took on the club, especially when compared to the 80s which was also an era largely spent at this level.
  4. Yeah you get the feeling that they trying to get though at least this round of fixtures. April will be on sporting lockdown is the impression I get.
  5. Protecting his arse. He knows he’s made a monumental feck up.
  6. CP will know a Rovers fan or two from Brig, so he’ll be sorted. Few beers and a scrap on the Aldi car park. Cracking day out.
  7. He’ll have had word it’ll be off/be behind closed doors...
  8. ... and yellow. Rovers traditional away colours.
  9. A commercial decision pure and simple.
  10. CP Company’s Polish moniker. Probably knows some handy lads in the Slavic firms
  11. We went on a terrible run over Christmas and New Year, nobody was even giving promotion a second thought... then we charged into contention... now we’ve gone on another poor run. Thats Mowbray’s team all over, feast or famine. So there’s no point discounting anything yet.
  12. All depends if things really have changed post Cheston/Coyle/Senior et al. The intriguing figure is always that Suhail, the quintessential man in the shadows.
  13. Three points away in March. Just a fact it isn’t over with. I imagine Bristol City fans will be thinking something similar.
  14. Don’t doubt it Tomphil, but interesting that Waggott would brazenly lie, or he hasn’t realised the limitations of his role yet as there’s been no vacancy in his tenure...
  15. So Waggott is lying when he says it’s him in charge of such matters if they arise?
  16. Still a big week, the very good chance we bottle it doesn’t change that beforehand. The fact nearly everyone else is also in bad form makes it even more so.
  17. It’s a make or break week, in reality. Play off rival at home, two relegation threatened teams away. We could have made another resurgence and in our grasp or it will be all over.
  18. To be fair it obviously isn’t true we ‘have nothing to play for’. 3 points away in mid March with a home game against a rival on Saturday. Alas, what probably is true is that we don’t have the bottle or quality to prevent our ‘season from fading out’ over the next few weeks.
  19. But he won’t be potted, I know it, you all know it. We can all engage in hypotheticals about potential replacements, but he’s well in with the owners and the Chief Exec, there’s not the merest indication he’s under any pressure, so he will be here in August.
  20. Aye, not sure how anyone could think TM hasn’t supported youth, there’s been times this season when nearly half the outfield team on the pitch have been academy grads.
  21. Bloody hell, take a day off Mash
