  1. You’d be better just getting a taxi to Preston/Manchester if there’s usually a few of you...
  2. As I’ve said, bit of a lack respect from you that 17th, when he’s trying to ‘change the way we play’ as you constantly go on about is a sackable offence! Not much patience and belief in Tony, have you! I’ve singled you out as you agreed with the article that talked about how daft fans are that wanted him out when he has transformed the club. How we should be able to see the progression. It’s fine you’ve changed your mind, but you can’t then pretend you’ve been ‘behind him every season’, and have known he was going to keep improving things, you obviously haven’t if you wanted him sacked earlier this campaign.
  3. All fair points Dreams. But I just can’t be doing with the hypocrisy of certain posters who now laud the man as transformative for the club and act as if they’ve been bought in to the ‘project’, ‘the journey’, ‘the progression’ for 3 years, when they wanted him gone literally weeks ago.
  4. Well obviously you don’t want him out now! But you didn’t have much loyalty to him and appreciate the job he’s doing just two months ago Lets hope we don’t go on another bad run, as your pitchfork will be back out! Fickle.
  5. Hit a nerve, obviously. You’ve got a brass neck sagely ‘hear hear’-ing an article that talks about keyboard managers not appreciating the job he’s done, building a club over 3 years and wanting him sacked- when that was literally you two months ago!
  6. That’s a ‘negative’ opinion, not an ‘agenda’.
  7. As have Huddersfield.... and most of the league will have done by March/April. How odd all the other clubs see it as a priority to get them on sale as early as possible each year, but the usual suspects on here have told me that ‘it makes no difference’ and getting them on sale in the close season is fine.
  8. Whatever way, he’s a braver man than me in that timeframe.
  9. But then you’ll need to get the tube to Waterloo and then the train to Brentford, then walk to the ground. Just hope for no delays!
  10. ‘Negative agendas’. Like what?
  11. The problem with the modern ‘columnist’ (especially one that as far as I’m aware doesn’t go to Ewood - I stand to be corrected on that), is that they look at things through the prism of social media, which is highly bi-polar and full of loonies and trolls fishing for reactions both ways. In 3 years TM has been supported to the hilt at games, more so than most managers we’ve had, so the whole column is moot to me. *For the 23567th time, the internet is not real life.
  12. He’d never had made the anniversary if it was up to you... you wanted him sacked a couple of months ago!
  13. LT regurgitating stories from elsewhere? Sounds about right, considering one of the main stories in the ‘news’ section is a copy and paste of ‘Blackburn’s top restaurants’ from TripAdvisor.
  14. Wow, surprised to read that from Paul.
  15. Need to get through the rest of this hectic month without anymore injuries. As TM says, players like Downing are wrapped in cotton wool training wise and just playing games. After Feb there is only one midweek game left, plus a two week international break.
  16. Hope no delays for you! Still some travelling to do getting from Euston to Brentford.
  17. In the Newcastle local rag now... and what a surprise they mention who his agent is. Agency planted story yet again. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/adam-armstrong-newcastle-blackburn-transfer-17757648.amp
  18. Shame in a way that it’s on Sky and back to back with another London game that was well attended, as I bet we’d have been close to selling this out otherwise - as it’s the last time at Griffin Park For us (or will it be...)
  19. They opened a beer tent in the DE car park. Think that came and went too...
  20. Not saying they weren’t. But they weren’t posts of someone well in with club staff.
  21. Yet he was hilariously star struck in his posts after he got to meet staff at the consultation meeting... ?
  22. Legends Lounge would be perfect. Few guest ales, couple of hot food options, midday match on the TV. No brainer for any club fetching a few as you are right in the away end. Captive market for those fans that don’t want to be wandering pub to pub seeing if away fans are allowed in etc. I can only think the club doesn’t want to dilute the Blues Bar and Jack’s Kitchen. Yet, they dipped their toes in something similar for about two games last season, but offered nothing apart from a bar serving Fosters and John Smith’s and wondered why it didn’t fill up.
  23. Yes the playoffs are a guarantee of nothing as the 80s testify. But it would be a sign of a club with aspirations again and after a near decade of treading water, its potential to galvanise the club shouldn’t be overlooked. Keeping hold our best talent, selling season tickets and sponsorships etc all becomes easier.
