  1. That would be the same loan market which the manager said there was no value in and simply restricts players which we own just 4 months ago?
  2. I haven’t seen Gueye play a single good 90 minutes for us.
  3. So he’s at least one up on Gueye?
  4. Nah, he’s not. Ismael has proven he can actually manage football teams. Gueye has been a petulant underachieving child everywhere he’s been employed. Ismael’s problem is he’s doing exactly as he’s told - a yes man who is allowing Pasha and Gestede to run a football club neither are qualified for.
  5. As I replied: 1. Attendances Blackburn averaged over 20K fans before Venky’s. You’re comparing data now, which is excluding thousands of people boycotting home matches. A new owner would be looking at potential - “where have the 10,000 home fans gone, is it achievable to get them back?” 2. Population Please see Bolton Wanderers, or, if ambitious, Green Bay Packers for evidence of what can happen when a club is actively embedded within the community. There are very little recreational things to do in Blackburn, this is a positive, not a negative. 3. Wealth and Spending Power Agreed, price the tickets ultra competitively to compensate rather than over pricing to the 7,000 loyal fans that will buy regardless of price. See Bayern Munich, Dortmund or any German club. 4. You’re looking at sponsorship regionally. Football is an international business in a digital world. There are many businesses that would see huge value in sponsoring a club even if not a single person in Blackburn knew who they were. The uncomfortable truth is this: In the last 15 years, can you please point out a single element of progression at Blackburn Rovers Football Club? For clarity, that means, one thing that has improved since Venky’s took over.
  6. I still can’t work it out — but as per my post, @Herbie6590 says we’re not getting any money and I listen, because he knows numbers and I don’t.
  7. BRFCS has a clearer board structure than Rovers and we’re 5 unpaid fools! When I have no idea what I’m talking about I stop talking and listen to others that do. I’d recommend you do the same.
  8. You think Dlamini or Henrikkson are more ready than Tyjon?
  9. Course you do. Universally not rated by a relegation competitor, allowed to leave their club, brought in at ours and you think he would be decent. I honestly give up.
  10. Chaddy. Listen to me. For the last time. The club use Alan Nixon as a propaganda tool. They have purposely leaked that information immediately after the match because they realise they’ve fucked up and exactly what we feared would happen, has happened. Gueye was signed for millions of pounds and paid handsomely and has turned out to be exactly what fans of his club said he would be - not competent, not professional and not up to standard. Even if we get our money back (when Nixon says we have done, we won’t have done, remember, it’s propaganda) the reality is he was a major transfer and a major failure by Gestede and his department.
  11. You either have a positive outlook on life that should win you the Nobel Peace Prize or no idea what’s happening at Ewood Park if you think there’s a remote possibility of this.
  12. Please stop with sensible ideas, it’ll only confuse them.
  13. I’m answering your question with a question, Chaddy. So that you can understand the only thing you enjoy about Ewood is that brings your family together, which the club has no control over. What do you enjoy about going to Ewood that the club specifically controls?
  14. “Tell me what you like about the Ewood match day experience. You can’t say you enjoy spending time with family as the club has no effect on that.” ”I like spending time with my family and supporting the team. I don’t like the food, or the drink, or the music.” Can you recognise the only things you do enjoy about matchday are things that the club cannot control (who attends, why they attend) and the things the club can control, you dislike?
  15. Can you tell me, very clearly, what you enjoy about the match day experience? You cannot answer with things that the club has no effect on e.g. “I enjoy spending time with my Dad and Brother.”
  16. FoodTechMan is insane - I’m not sure he’s a real person - but even still, give him those 3 (even though I can make arguments against the second two), if that’s 15 years of progress then there should be riots on the streets nevermind a one game boycott.
  17. Who was that Polish (?) CB we spent all summer chasing then couldn’t offer enough money? Whats he up to?
  18. Keep politics off this thread or we’re issuing bans. If it’s not football related use WDWY.
  19. This football club. Utterly bonkers.
  20. Tells a story that a psychopath like this could be deemed a good candidate by the people running the club.
  21. It’ll be forgotten about within 24 hours. It has to cost them as much money as possible. When every home game starts costing them money to play they’ll pull the plug.
  22. Which is why a boycott won’t work. They’ll release numbers similar to any other game.
  23. I’m right in saying we haven’t sold out, I fancy going but I can’t buy a ticket either online or over the phone?
  24. Every pass is forward. It’s so simple.
  25. We seem to still be overlooking the biggest argument to be made to anyone not willing to miss one home game. ”Name one thing that has improved in the 15 years of Venky’s ownership?” They can’t answer. Because there isn’t an improvement. Think about that. For 15 years things have either got worse or not improved - which given advancements over the 15 years - is actually a net negative. If you can’t miss one home game after 15 years of no improvement then unfortunately you will never see the light. This does end, eventually. It’s simply a case of the speed of the demise now. There’s 10,000 people missing. The standards are dropping. The results are trending down. We either force their hands, or let them do it themselves. If you want it to be quick and painful then don’t spend a penny. No season tickets, no merchandise, no TV match passes. If you want it to be long and excruciating continue going and spending your money.
