Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
J*B replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Which is exactly the stumbling block every time any protest group is started. The only person that’s ever risked putting himself above the pit is Glen Mullan, who had financial and family issues because of it as well as death threats. Until someone’s willing to lead, nothing will really get off the ground. And I’m saying that as someone who’s not brave enough to lead! -
Rovers's January transfer needs
J*B replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
“Alan, can you write something to get them excited again after our latest fuck up?” -
It's literally only a group of Rovers fans that insist this club disappears if Venkys disappear that can't grasp you can be competitive - and even successful - in this league if you have good operators and a well thought out plan. There's plenty of clubs in recent history getting promotion with smaller budgets, but they get ignored.

Rovers's January transfer needs
J*B replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I can see why a data driven approach would show De Neve, Tavares and Henriksson as potentially good signings. They all (currently) fail the eye test though. -
I mean you’re the expert. But from where I’m sitting, the ball wasn’t even on the ground, Morishita hadn’t touched it yet, he was maximum a couple of feet ahead of the defender and was about 30 yards from goal. If the ball was at his feet and he was sprinting towards goal ahead of the defenders then I’d totally agree, but given he still had to take the ball down, control it and move 15-20 yards with it before shooting, I think a yellow is fair.
-
Which is why it can’t be a red. Morishita never had the ball under control, so anything could have happened, therefore it wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity.
-
Whilst I agree, the screenshot is irrelevant. It only becomes relevant once Morishita has the ball under control.

It’s nothing to do with any of this, imo. He’s simply not intelligent enough or committed enough to be a professional footballer at this level.

Carl, this is a huge shock to me. I knew Luke - only to a 'I know his face' level - I have hired him previously for photo shoots. A devastating loss.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Strictly on how unlikeable our recent managers have been, Ismael is right up there.- 3356 replies

Squads not big enough to allow rotation so players are rushed back or playing through injury for 2/3 matches in a week. Many of us foolish fans could see it months ago.

You realise this makes you sound insane, right?

I’ve no idea why you’re talking about Venice. BRFCS have a great partnership with NordVPN. Make sure you click the link on our website when signing up so that BRFCS gets paid and I can book myself a holiday.

Sheaf and O’Brien will absolutely dominate Forshaw and Garden-Hickman. Game will be won in central midfield. Hyam is right, great recruitment.
-
One player in this starting 11 I’m comfortable saying is Championship starting quality.
-
I can’t express how bad things have got if we’re back to considering starting Gueye. The man is a total clown. A jester. Letting the opportunity of a life time pass before him because he’s not intelligent enough to realise what could be.

We have, there’s 13,000 fans not attending due to Venky’s. The 8,000 left will turn up no matter what. -

In a list of “who needs to pull their weight a bit more at Ewood Park”, I’ve got “the fans” at the bottom of the list. The way this season is playing out was predictable at the start of the season to anyone willing to take off blue and white tinted glasses. The plan of replacing the experienced leaders with low-cost, in experienced players from Europe simply will not work to anyone that knows this league. There will be a couple of Toth’s, but in the most part, we will end up with a team of Gueye’s, De Neve’s, Henriksson’s and Baradji’s -

Seems to be a bit of confusion on attendances and atmosphere here. So to throw my opinion in: The club has lost circa 13K fans due to Venky’s. This is a protest. Fans that used to go, won’t go, because of Venky’s. These fans, in the most part, were the most vocal fans in the stadium. Losing them has massively impacted the atmosphere. The above combined with ticket pricing and Ismael and Rudy’s Rovers being absolutely shite at home, means that so near to Christmas, in rubbish weather, any potential walk ins just say at home. We still get fantastic, vocal away ends because the fans that won’t go to home games go away. -

We signed 5 (five) central midfielders this summer and there’s a chance he’s the best of the bunch. -

Baradji isn’t good enough. Calling it early. -

King would have been injured. Beckham wouldn’t have got back. Mourinho had it right - he wanted to sign Gerrard and intended to play Gerrard and Lampard as CMs. “They’re good enough to work it out over time”, he said in a later interview. No need to be too clever, play your best 11 players.

Rovers's January transfer needs
J*B replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You’d expect them to go back for that “Steve Kapuadi” in Poland, given they tried to get him all summer and I assume (?) Toth is now no longer an ESC slot. At any normal club there would be a significant January budget given we’ve not spent anything like we have generated from sales for years now. Alas, I’m sure we have no money.
