  1. Any further on finding out what the emergency meeting was?
  2. Chaddy you’ve been saying this for the last 10 years.
  3. Seems we've moved on from the CEO telling the fans if we wanted safe standing we'd have to fund raise for it.
  4. Jeez, is everything booked? Can you delay?!
  5. A disaster, as predicted. A good DOF hires a manager that fits the players available. Ours hired one that only knows how to play 3-4-3.
  6. Not many things have made me smile today - but knowing we’re contractually obligated to run a MOTM poll after a disaster of a performance and announce it did raise a small smile.
  7. You can’t protest in India. BRAG / BRFCS were trying to do that 10 years ago. The major media (newspapers, magazines, billboards) will not take your money. Going after Venkys in India is like going after Tom Jones in Wales. They donate significant amounts of money to charities, employ thousands of people, own significant amounts of land and spend millions on advertising. The media will *not* risk that. The journalists won’t be allowed to write about it, the media agencies won’t give you the advertising space, the billboard companies won’t take your money.
  8. Lovely. Nice and clear comms!
  9. I’ve been told tonight that WATR have been working with Rovers on a season ticket offering for next year to try and increase sales. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I sincerely hope it isn’t. If it is, you are being used once again and need to walk away from anything that makes Waggott and Pasha’s job easier.
  10. This is the worst football I’ve seen us play since whoever was before Mowbray.
  11. God I wish I had to stay late at work tonight.
  12. Manager is a total nightmare. They’ve absolutely no idea how to play this system.
  13. For what it’s worth I’m not sure WATR need to improve comms through content. WATR need to recognise that they don’t have the reach or membership to make any meaningful change alone. For what it’s worth, neither does BRFCS. It needs coordinated messaging from multiple partners to try and get as many fans as possible on the same thought process. RE the MOU meeting, I’ve been a Rovers Trust member for a long time and I’ve never once been asked what I would like asking at these meetings. WATR cannot claim to represent its membership if its membership is never asked for their opinion.
  14. Venkys fund Rovers. By funding Rovers, you’re funding Venkys. I have a flexi ST because I liked what Eustace was doing. It won’t be renewed next year.
  15. And he’d make the cuts, so we’d go down. The following year the same would happen. It will repeat until we’re so low in the English league that the club isn’t viable. At which point administrators will come in, someone will buy us and we start again. The above is happening whether people buy tickets or not. It’s simply a case of how long it takes. Helping fund Venkys is prolonging it, that’s all.
  16. The future is — and will always be — administration. Venkys will not sell the club. There’s only two ways to get rid of them, effect their personal life or make the club lose so much money they finally quit or more realistically, have the club taken away from them. Nobody is willing to protest in a way that will affect them. Staying behind after games, negative chants, mass walk outs, holding up red cards, they’re not bothered at all about any of that. Either every match, every week is postponed due to protest or the only thing they do care about (family) is targeted. Nothing else will work. Don’t waste your time planning it. That leaves a waiting game til administration. How many fans love Rovers so much that no matter how bad things get, they’ll continue to “support the boys” and buy season tickets and shirts? 4,000 based on this seasons ticket sales this year. Nobody should be forced to give up something they love, but unless 3,000 of those 4,000 stop it’ll simply keep treading water away as it is. They’re doing it for the right reasons (love the club, support the players, enjoy time with their friends) but they’re essentially keeping a dying dog alive with short term medication. Might go down, might come back up, might finish 9th, but won’t actually make any progress.
  17. We can all sleep well tonight knowing even if we did scrape into the top six and fluke two performances in the playoff games, Aynsley would fuck it up at Wembley. I have never known a professional athlete with such a weak mentality. Under any pressure whatsoever he’s useless.
  18. Cauley Woodrow is just as shite as I thought he was.
  19. Cant afford to sack him despite him clearly being totally incapable. The Waggott way.
  20. Season over. This lot either have no belief or no understanding of what the manager is asking them to do. See you all next year, when further budget cuts led by Steve Waggott, Suhail Pasha and Venkys will see the quality reduced even further.
  21. Absolutely miles off. Weak mentality, tactically all over the shop.
  22. I really liked it, to be fair. He was making runs across their back line and gesturing to put him through. We haven’t had a player making forward runs like that in a long time. Carter played him a really nice ball through which it looked like Gueye got in the way of. I want my forwards to demand the ball…
