I agree Eddie Guess we see whether they can step up a division. Edwards was very good. Dont remember Harrison at all No need for that.
-
Harrison signed for Ipswich on 2 years deal
-
I like up front or Wide. Has pace and as @roversfan99 pointed his goals against MK Dons sum up how we should play him in most goals. I understand that point but I feel they like Mowbray and will back him if it the right deal.

where in my post did I say everything is rosy. Armstrong can play 3 different positions and that's good. I think we need a target man type of striker. I would have taken Morris from Norwich but injured. Did well at Shrewsbury considering their style of play and how defensively they played. Plus we need a winger with pace and skills. Ive named one I would look at. wrong again. I just ask question. I'm chill out in Kent enjoying the lovely weather sat outside in deck chairs having a beer listening to some good music I hope Venkys look at Armstrong has a good investment which he is. his value is only going to go up imo.
-
no thanks He mention Armstrong to me last week quoting 3 million pounds. A day later it was reported by the Sun he was available for 3 million. He has told me that who we are after. he has decent/goodish record. I am currently away in Kent with the family and just enjoy the family time, weather and the time off work really

when does he have time to go to India cos he doesn't. our last pre season game is 28th July and our 1st league is 4th August. He wont go then and miss training. He knows his budget and will buy players. Just remain patience and you will see I don't think Mowbray was ignored at all. Look at Mowbray and Waggott post India comments. Both spoke happy about the budget. So do you think they are lying about it then? I expect the Armstrong deal to be around 2 million pounds pay over 2 years with 20/25% sell on clause. Armstrong knows he played best under Mowbray and he gets the best out of him. Armstrong and his agent will be pushing this aswell in my opinion I asked Alan Myers and Alan Nixon both said they cant see it. IMO, Rich Sharpe denies stories linking us to players when Mowbray says off the record we weren't interested or not anymore
-
would take Lindsay from those 3 When Newcastle Chairman stated its 3 million for Armstrong? Rovers will get Armstrong towards the end of the window IMO. are we even in for Maddison? I was pleased with that job. Bennett is a right wide player and Rothwell has played wide left in the games he played in for us. Davenport was very good again on Sunday according to few fans who went

I do suggest different names who I feel Mowbray might want or be looking at. Plus who is might within our target 3 million for Armstrong. You would pay that over a couple of years anyway. You wouldnt pay it up front. And you really the LT would print something the club or Mowbray wouldnt want out there. Armstrong is a target.. Good fee for Ipswich.

Not in public domain but both cost fees Totally disagree there.

“It’s not frustrating. I understand why the deals we’re working on haven’t fallen in to place yet but I’m sure they will.” #Rovers https://t.co/MnKvDoWKXT Rovers have looked in to the possibility of an Ewood return for Adam Armstrong who scored nine times during a five month loan spell at the end of last season. Newcastle United are reportedly willing to sell the 21-year-old, who also worked under Mowbray at Coventry City on loan in 2015/16, for a fee in the region of £3million rather than sanction another loan deal. Armstrong has two years remaining on his Magpies deal, so Rovers would need to come to an compromise over the wage demands of the England youth international should they pursue that deal.

Mowbray doesnt like names out in the press and lets to keep it close house. Only people likely to know who we after are Mowbray, Venus, Harvey, Slivester and Waggott. Mowbray met with some players and agents back in May/June and wasnt impress by most. Either due to players wages and agents fees demans, attitude or appearence. Maybe Mowbray trust Cowley to look after him and use him right. No signs? Didnt we pay money for Davenport and Rothwell? Oh yeah. We will have money to spend.
-
Agree Paul. I think there is bids in for players and its a waiting game. Mowbray likes playing wide forwards in his formation/system. Now this might not be your way but it is his way
-
I think Armstrong is a target and someone Mowbray wants. Just my opinion. Only 17 days to go I agree thats the way forward and I think its Mowbray way aswell. Or he saying this to keep cost down. I can understand his Chapman's comments
-
Maybe his first target for the striker position which I think is Armstrong in my opinion. Newcastle are tough to deal with Ashley there who is good business man and very good when it comes to getting what fees he wants. So lets say Mowbray is negotiating to get the fee down with some of the money based on appearances and goals. its can be a long negotiations from the list you posted yes some names but we don't know what the wages, loans fees, agents fees involved so we cant judge or maybe doesn't want them
-
my suggestion. since Karanka he has barely used him. so could be very well available to buy. His stats last season were under Warburton which was good enough. I think he would improve him. is he? cant see anything online at all
-
I think it is WBA who want him I feel we will make 1 or 2 signings this week. I hope one is Armstrong and the other Barrie McKay who fit the bill the type of winger we need Please explain why? also why should be over pay for average players. Mowbray knows what type of players he wants. only 17 days of this transfer window to sign players here permanently

And here's the match report from Sincil Bank as Joe Nuttall's first half header wins it for #Rovers https://t.co/DKiHH75dFx From LT Rich Sharpe

65' - Save! A superb 30-yard drive from Dack draws a stop from Vickers in the Lincoln goal, before Williams volleys over from the resulting corner. 0-1. #Rovers 68' - Save! Vickers is there again, this time diving at Samuel's feet after the substitute had burst into the area. 0-1. #Rovers We didnt start with at the back 3 at all. Back 4 of Lenihan Downing Wharton Bell

What do mean? Good news???
-
From a fan at game Davenport stand out performer in the first half. Nuttall played well and good to see him grab a goal, Wharton defended well, Bennett terrific, and Whittingham and Conway both worthy of mentions #rovers Lewis Travis and Ryan Nyambe on for #Rovers at the break. Darragh Lenihan and Elliott Bennett the two to give way. Craig Conway takes over the captaincy.
