I have suggestion lots of players who Nixon hasn't mention so please don't lie about that. I suggestion April/May players like Matt Smith, Chris Martin as Target man options to sign. I think I also suggestion Gallagher a while back. Didn't I suggest Edwards from Peterborough or QPR winger Samuel Odayi. I did suggest going for Sam Winnall who has goals at this level and someone who is likely to leave Sheff Wednesday this summer. Does Marriott have the game for the Championship or will he just be another Matty Taylor who struggled for goals since joining Bristol City? if we don't have loads of money surely we should be looking to buy someone with experience of scoring goals at level like the players I have mention. I would agree would you on your last comment tho Tom tho. Think its a good point you make I cant see Mowbray panicking at all. think he will stick to his guns and not over pay for players I'm pleased Mowbray isn't paying over the top for average players or daft wages. that's not we need as a club or a playing squad. Its takes times to put in place a new scouting system and get it working properly I agree on the type of player Gallagher is and someone Mowbray could improve scored 11 league goals here when on loan. I agree he needs to leave Southampton permanently but the question is how many clubs could afford the fee/clauses Southampton would want and his current wages?

Dack's contract very close to be sort http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16354978.blackburn-rovers-pretty-much-there-with-bradley-dack-deal/?ref=mac -
I dont have rules Tom but recently every player linked some people have complain at. Who were you expecting us to sign? Ronaldo or Messi? Think some people need to be more sensible. Plenty of us watch alot of football Tom and these are website that can give you stats and player values like transfermarkt is one. Also Tom look at the transfer market at this level is crazy and some of prices are very much OTT for average players. You seen the prices for players who only 12 months left on contract. Would you pay over the odds for players? Why is Gallagher a Lazy link? Seem very sensible potential signing to me. Scores goals at this level, good attitude and knows the club and manager.

Someone on facebook has posted these kits online saying these are new Rovers home and away kits for this season

well firstly if people wanted to moan then suggest players that fit within our budget. He got 11 goals in his loan spell here considering who we had as manager for the 2/3 of the season I see it as very decent. I don't think every players is a good signing actually so please make things up. I would like Armstrong or Gallagher here this season and if the budget allows both. I would like Chapman here permanently and Kent on loan. Didn't Nixon mention Davenport earlier in the summer and Pete O'Rourke last January for the Rothwell signing so both players were linked with us actually. I know a scouting network takes months after months to set up and put in place.
-
he did get the new scouting system in place tho. Both Mowbray and Waggott have said this in forums with fans.
-
can we afford him permanent? we deffo cant afford his 24k a week wages. he signed a new contract last summer like who? considering our budget please on his time at Birmingham, how many chances did the team created for him and the team style of play considering who the manager was for majority of the season you seem dismiss every player link we had recently. source is rubbish? how? Mowbray and Gallagher got on very well when Gallagher was here on loan last time

Rovers won 1 nil -
Well I tagged Rovers, Ryan Grant and Warren Lucy in the tweet. Ryan Grant replied saying he is aware of this and its been passed to the right people. Probably Mowbray and Waggott. Expect a statement tomorrow where Evans says sorry and apologises for his actions

Still 4 pre season games to go isnt there?
-
Ok thanks for that. Some Rovers fans said Davenport played really well in front of the back 4 second half. Travis the best player on pitch according to some Rovers fans. Is this correct?
-
how much do you think we need? Our Squad Keeper - Raya Fisher Luetwiler Defenders - Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Nyambe Downing Wharton Bell Midfielders - Davenport Smallwood Whittingham Travis Rothwell Conway Evans Strikers - Graham Samuel Nuttall. for me we are a Striker short and 2 wide players. plus a centre back if Wharton isn't going to be here this season. I haven't included Tomlinson has he is supposedly going out on loan
-
Mowbray has played 3 at the back in some games since becoming manager here. so he clearly wants to play that system in some games depending on the opposition and I agree we should. All down to budget pal who we can sign. Like I have said previously I would be spending the most on it on a striker. so it doesn't leave much for centre back does it. please explained last line?
-
more BS how did Rothwell and Davenport play? is it correct we play 3 at the back 1st half and 4-1-4-1 second half? Samuel or Nuttall impress?
-
ok I accept your point but I would be happy with Both of them. I think Rothwell and Whittingham played wide today in second half judging by the line up It appears from fans who attended the Port Vale game that Davenport and Travis impressed again
-
what an over reacted by you in the last comment. we need 4/5 centre backs if we are going to play 3 at the back. Unsure if Wharton is good enough. Plus injuries will happen aswell. No I don't know much about McFadzean but I have look into his stats from last season and he played 44 games last season in the league with most of them as a starter. Downing or Smallwood didn't have an impressive CV before he came here both played very well last season whilst we were impressive with Whittingham signing and look at how he played last season. disappointing in the main. lets see if we sign him firstly.
-
well for me, we would have enough out wide with them tbf. Plus if we are going to be playing 3 at the back not sure we need 5 wingers for. Like I said I would be spending more of my budget on a quality striker. I think we will get Chapman permanently shortly/next 2 weeks
-
I am fully aware of the players we had mate. I am comfortable with either formation. Sorry but pre season is an indicative of how we will play formation wise, player positions, etc
-
when you mean nobody else, do you mean signing wise or wide signing wise? striker wise I would be looking at Sam Winnall(linked with Sheff Utd recently), Sam Gallagher, Tom Bradshaw, Ivan Toney, Adam Armstrong I understood your points fine thanks. What are you expecting as 4th choice centre back? Do you even know much about Kyle McFadzean or what type of season he had last season? if you don't how can you even make an assessment? I feel Bennett is very decent at right back/wing back and that's where I see him playing. Centre midfield wise we have enough there. We got Smallwood, Davenport, Evans, Whittingham, Travis, Rothwell. We have enough there. For me, we don't need a right back. I don't worry because we will sign players and maybe I a lot of faith in Mowbray and the way he doesn't rush into making decision or rash choices and process he thinks about things. I don't understand why people are even negative at this stage of the season for. doesn't make sense to me at all. no-one is blinkered at all but different people look at things very differently.
