  1. the FA and EFL will do nothing. As far as they are concerned Rovers are being run fine, selling players to meet the finances, no debt on the club, wages paid on times and all bills paid on time
  2. and people used to complain about Southgate's team selection. Its a surprising team selection with Jones at right back, James at left back and Henderson as holding midfielder
  3. why would the training kit have any link to the 150 years anniversary We had a chance to voted for the kits we wanted and lets see what they have gone for when release I agree we should have new club crest for the season.
  4. Spurs players all singings Ange's praises and saying what a great man he was https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/35301867/spurs-player-revolt-ange-postecoglou-sacking/ Tottenham face player revolt threat after Ange Postecoglou sacking
  5. Cooper has turned down/not interested in Boro job Rev Middlesbrough dealt blow as Steve Cooper stance revealed, new candidates emerge for manager role Dave Challinor has done an amazing job at Stockport and he deserves to be bigger club.
  6. blimey, we are only on the 7th of June I would suggest you see my previous reply to you People said the same last summer and look at what happened. Far too people are going OTT so early. Have a chill pill guys
  7. here an article outlined when last season championship transfers were done and this time last year, there were nine deals confirmed in the Championship waiting to be officially processed when the window opened on June 14, including Stoke triggering a relegation release clause for Viktor Johansson - but then there were only 21 more before the start of July. Ninety per cent of all signings in the Championship were announced after July 1. In fact, 50 per cent of deals were done after August 1, nearly 40 per cent were done after the first game of the season on August 10 and 25 per cent in the last two days of the window. When Championship transfers get done as Stoke City wait for first signing - Stoke-on-Trent Live Yes I do think Ismael was abit unrealistic in expect to have so much done by pre season training restart/Spanish training camp. I think we get a couple done by the Spanish training camp. exactly my point. People think clubs do the business early buy 50% of transfers were done in August as the link above reported. Some clubs get a couple of signings in early but rarely do you get all your business done so early. and how many people actually do? not many by the sales figures after stage 1. What would drive sales is lower prices but new owners who want to rebuild the club, have proper coherent plan and invest in all areas of the club
  8. How many fans based on buying ST based on who we sign in the transfer market? Do you?
  9. I took it from this https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25130385.blackburns-pre-season-dates-explained-transfer-target/ that it meant by the Spanish training camp. I misinterpreted what was reported
  10. Season ticket phase 1 had ended before these stories came out.
  11. It's affects alot of clubs. Blimey some clubs haven't appoint their managers/head coach or just sacking them in the Boro Carrick episode..
  12. Wouldn't surprise me him going there but won't he want to take Sweden to the world cup first tho? Can see Rob Edwards going there tho if I was Boro I would be looking at Stockport County manager Dave Challinor
  13. We see. Expect couple in and nothing more I menton Sunderland paying 5m for him
  14. Players are on holiday. Some movement has in the transfer market but it's minimal so far.
  15. Don't agree with Spurs decision to sacked Ange. After winning a trophy they should have back him not sack him. Looks like Thomas Frank is the favourite for the job
  16. I think the training kit is smart and decent. We voted on the kits for this season via club survey https://x.com/Rovers/status/1699092776623759864?s=19
  17. Nowhere did I said he isnt but most of that time it was official role within Rovers hierarchy and Rovers board
  18. You misunderstood my point 3 signings by the Spanish training camp in Late July
  19. Yuri Ribeiro I meant Have I ever said that? Didn't Ismael say by the Spanish pre season camp late July? I think we have a couple in by them but not all. Maybe 3 out of the 6 or 7 signings Ismael wanted
  20. But he was with the new owners for 18 months showing them the ropes and how football works. The Owner Tom Warner is here watching games, interacting with fans of the club, understanding the fans but also has big plans for the stadium rebuild and expansion. Venkys have had 15 years. They could have rebuild the Riverside stand and make more disabled friendly when wheel chair uses can have a higher view of the pitch like Wigan do.
  21. Owners with a proper plan and appoint a good CEO in Garry Cook. Venkys have different opportunities to do this and didn't.
  22. 100% agree. He didn't rate Eustace 12 months and now he is messiah to him Bruno Riberio did but you point is correct. Gestede should have been getting our key players tied down during the season.
  23. I totally agree Dom. The Owner/CEO should run the show and people under them answer to the Owner/CEO. Simple structure is need here Owner/CEO with deputy CEO under that with a couple of directors on the board like Financial director and non-executive directors then the head of department reporting the Owner/CEO and the board. Agree? He's been doing it since he was appointed here COO.
