  1. 1 or 2. Whitehead was his number 2 at Watford. He is out of work so I think he will come in as number 2
  2. Most head coaches bring 1 or 2 staff with them. They don't have entire staff to bring with them.
  3. Good crossers for their goal though from BBD. I thought Leeds took over the game
  4. Also his work permit from Watford time in charge is still valid. Also says Ismael will only bring a couple of backroom staff with him and all of them are available. Also our entire squad isn't out within the next 15 months
  5. Leeds fantastic second half and proven why they are the best in this league
  6. You asked my if I had any concerns about Ismael and now you are asking me similar way but just a different way. My original answer "Concerns not at this stage until you see what impact he has here, what formation he plays and whether the players response to his man management skills plus what his backroom staff is. " "no one can be 100% sure that X is the perfect man for the job, you have an opinion, like I was confident Hughes would be the right fit for us after he took over from Souness or when Ince was appointed, I just didn't think that was right appointment. I had doubts when we appointed Souness but he proved me wrong. Sometimes you have a feel whether it feel right or wrong, Just like when you hiring staff in a normal job. You see the CV and you have a feel and then you interview then and see whether it backed up your initial opinion or not" maybe if West Brom and Watford had shown some patience then he might have deliver for them. Sacking him when in the top 6 is laughable for me but they did the same with Darren Moore, did WBA ever get the promote? 🙄
  7. They were in the top 6 and sacked another one like they did with Darren Moore, did that sacking achieve promotion then? I am happy with this appointment for these reasons, experience of championship as head coach, played 4-2-3-1 formation at Watford plus more of head coach than manager which suits our structure. Concerns not at this stage until you see what impact he has here, what formation he plays and whether the players response to his man management skills plus what his backroom staff is. so who was you really expect us to appoint? Even your own choice of Rob Edwards has had failures on his CV including a short stint at Watford who have 9 permanent head coach in 4 and half seasons, but you consider him a downgraded on Eustace even tho he has promotion from this league to PL which Eustace doesn't have yet on his CV no one can be 100% sure that X is the perfect man for the job, you have an opinion, like I was confident Hughes would be the right fit for us after he took over from Souness or when Ince was appointed, I just didn't think that was right appointment. I had doubts when we appointed Souness but he proved me wrong. Sometimes you have a feel whether it feel right or wrong, Just like when you hiring staff in a normal job. 8. I'm not at the game sadly tonight. I'm sure Arbitro will give his match report after the game like most games
  9. Supporters views will change like the wind direction and I see people on social media starting to question Eustace's position cos we hadn't won for a few games. WBA have form for sacking head coaches when in the playoffs place cos they did it to Darren Moore before, then Ismael Watford have had 9 head coaches in 4 and half seasons. did well to last 9 months there I mentioned his name after Eustace left as he was out of work, experience of championship, played 4-2-3-1 formation at Watford plus more of head coach than manager which suits our structure I have accept that but I will take that you would have reservations if we appoint a Damien Duff or Rob Edwards, is that fair comment? Not trying to do that but actually put facts out there showing that isn't what some people(not yourself) thinking this is cheap appointment agreed
  10. Ohashi played 45 mins and off
  11. Or maybe he get more of chance here. He was sacked at WBA when in the top 6 and Watford when they were 9th. Hardly shocking are they. Have both clubs done any better after he left those clubs? Not really
  12. He previously played for under 21's
  13. Not for me. these people consider them PL manager/coaches or want to take time out of the game, or in Gerrard case, tax reasons he needs to sort out his work permit first
  14. Maybe give some people some thought over their original opinion of it being a poor choice or cheap choice
  15. Its getting pathetic now from Ratcliffe. These cuts are pointless. They sacked a staff member Jackie Kay who has worked there for 30 years and Jackie started at Old Trafford in 1995 as an executive assistant through a period of historic success under Sir Alex Ferguson. In 2013 she moved to Carrington and served a succession of men’s managers, first as executive assistant and for the past 9yrs heading first team operations. Ratcliffe's cuts are now getting embarrassing, stopping staff having free lunches and warm meals. FFS. How pathetic is it now
  16. The Man City team is too old to pressed the ball like the best City team under Pep did. Doku get into some great positions yesterday but his final ball was poor. They need to buy 4 or 5 quality players in the summer and I expect De Bruyne and Grealish to move on. They need a 2 attacking midfielder, right winger, right back and back up striker to Haaland
  17. I am surprised by people saying Ismael is a cheap option, cos I don't know who people were really expecting us appoint. I said I expected someone like Wagner or Ismael to be appointed. Also mentioned Bilic in my original post on the next head coach. Cooper and Gerrard was never coming here, O'Neil and Edwards long shots. People didn't want Karanka, Boateng or Wellens. Duff had support on here. Yes I have seen a mixed reaction on social media but if Ismael starts well and we take an earlier lead on Saturday, Supporters within the stadium will created a buzz and he will come onto the pitch pre game which will created buzz also. today. Says it getting closer and closer Most on that list is untenable for us. Some are PL managers and doing very well or championship managers. Dean Smith, Wagner and Bilic are the 3 most tenable to be appoint here. Its looks Ismael
  18. Nicko on his patreon account is saying we are entering the final stages now.
  19. Fair enough. I think the positive vide as been at Ewood Park all season, and the last home game, very much behind David Lowe and the players, just like they were under Eustace. I don't expect it will be any different on Saturday especially if Ismael is appointed before the game and he gets his first win as our new head coach.
  20. yes utter pointless Mercer as always. You challenge me? making me laugh again, you should become a comedian. You know very well my views on dingles and anything to do with that shite. You also know I am Rovers through and through, passionate Rovers and football supporter, etc. hope the blood pressure tests goes very well. No idea why the head coach situation is winding up too much for. It was clear that after Eustace, they would appoint an Foreign head coach as his replacement and that what we have most likely to happened. All the best for next week.
  21. and it is still resounding no!!!
  22. I would have taken Alex Neil here. Left field appointment? someone up and coming? someone like Mat Sadler then? senior figure like Warnock or Allardyce then?
