  1. Sunderland got the ball out there quickly to him. No blame on Hedges for me
  2. Scott? On Hedges and Dolan, they aren't those type of players. Wingers to me are players like when we had Ripley and Wilcox putting crosses into Shearer. ACD is the only natural winger we got, Dolan, Weimann and Hedges play from the wide area of the pitch but also drift inside pitch at times, exactly where I thought they would
  3. I read the Article this morning and posted what Elliott's predicted team was
  4. Sunderland played Roberts much wider and higher causing Beck the problem whether to go closer to him causing a big gap between Batth and Beck or leave Roberts with more space. I wouldn't say Hedges was at fault at all. Plus lets credit Sunderland boss was making that tactical change
  5. Good overall team performance and we got the point we deserved. It was 2 good championship teams going against each other Delighted for Ohashi scoring and he was in the right spot at the right time. We control the first half and deserved to be leading. Dolan and Hedges had chances. Sunderland didn't do much. Second half, Sunderland boss clearly change things and Roberts was playing wider and higher, which caught us out twice disappointed. We stayed in the game and Eustace made a number of positive changes and we got the deserved equaliser from Leonard after Batth knock it down. Pears made a excellent save and stop Sunderland from winning in the last minute Britain was my man of the match The fans were amazing today and great to see so many walk ons and fans coming to the game. Now time to win against Hull and get those 3 points. Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪
  6. No can't they aren't that type of players that Saka or Salah are. Key difference here You can park where the Royal Blackburn Hospital was located
  7. No I don't agree at all. We seen other players who play wide left but cut in been very effective like BBD or Elliott on the other side do it. Alot depends on the players but also how they play tactical. ACD can cut in or also go the other way.
  8. Mikey Johnston is a quality player and someone if I had him in my squad would be starting every game. Eustace has changed our play in possession and out of it, With the ball(when Pickering plays left back) we moved in 3-4-2-1 formation has I spotted in the first pre season and without the ball, we play 4-2-3-1. Will be interesting how we play today and what team he picks
  9. I think since the start of the season, they has been quite a buzz around some Rovers home games since our first game like Drrby, Bristol City, Luton and hopefully the next 3 homes games. Success on the pitch is needed and a team that fans can relate and enjoyed watching. Plus I think the rapport between the fans, players and Eustace can be see here
  10. There seems a real buzz around watching live football in stadiums at the minute which is good to see
  11. Very valid and great points made by yourself here. Even at Championship level there are many good wingers who like to cut inside but can go the other way for example Liam Millar, Mikey Johnston and Wilfried Gnonto. Football has more on from having 2 proper wingers put ball into the ball and having a target man type of striker but I do feel that Football you need some variety and have plan B.
  12. Elliott Jackson has predicted 5 changes with Britain, Dolan, Beck, Hedges and Baker coming in for JRC, Pickering, Travis, ACD and Gueye. I wouldn't be surprised to see Eustace take ACD out of the team. I would do it for the Hull game personally, we have to managed his game time and lets just remember this is first taste of senior football but also he has just had an injury. I'm going for 1 nil win with Ohashi scoring the goal. Looks like a big crowd today so lets we perform on the pitch COYB!!!🔵⚪
  13. Merry Christmas to all Rovers fans 🔵⚪️
  14. Thanks for agreeing with me on point 1.. On your question, it's great question and one all of us debate and discuss for age with different points and answers. I guess, in some ways yes better and some others no.
  15. Well lets hope we can find an quality striker, wide man and centre back
  16. What you are overlooking here is the more clubs being owned by foreign owners but also more Foreign head coaches who don't normally get massively involved in recruitment of new signings. You might not find it effective or logical but it depends what their structure is but also what their recruitment process is
  17. Clearly some clubs think so but also factor in that clubs have been bought by Foreign owners but also we see more foreign head coaches who are coaches not managers like we used to have whilst these foreign head coaches are used to not being mainly involve in recruitment of new signings. Did we really binned of the DoF/head coach structure when we have Rudy Gestede has head of football operations and Adam Owen as head of Technical development with John Eustace as head coach currently? I think Oxford should have backed Des Buckingham for longer and not appointed Rowett
  18. Its very clear that Travis and JDT had a falling out leading to Travis leaving the club. JDT didn't want him here and Maybe its around this time JDT starting losing the dressing room and players lost faith in JDT.
  19. Modern times modern ways
  20. Stoke made this decision they wanted just a head coach with little involvement in Recruitment when they changed from Schumacher to Pelach.
  21. WBA will move for out of work manager
  22. Or Rovers have been offered him by agent and would be interested if available but more interesting is Eustace says he is the type of striker he wants?
