was reported by Jackson that Waggott was the one behind the Eustace move not GB. If you were the owner or CEO of Rovers and you wanted to appoint a certain head coach you wouldn't do cos you had a Director of football there? really? I think Gestede is in line with Pasha and Waggott. Gestede was here for 5 months working behind the scenes until he was appointed as head of football operations
-
wasn't the point been made. The point was about the angry and annoyed at Eustace leaving and his comments. Already gave my opinion on Karanka. I don't see O'Neil, Edwards, Ismael, Duff and Wicky has underwhelming at all, But I would ask you would like instead? any names you like and think this is the candidate to move us forward and get a playoff place and promotion? Yes
-
what rumours? is there any to anyone possible head coach appointment?
-
Yes Jackson dd, so clearly the club have moved quickly to dismiss the Karanka's rumours quickly cos of the supporters based reaction to them. What do you expect from a local journalist to be honest? Waggott and Gestede don't communicate with local journalists, so what do you expect? can't see Gerrard coming here. Wouldn't he have to pay massive taxes on his income from Saudi if he works in UK before April?
-
Gregg Broughton didn't appointed Eustace. Waggott did

Like I said the other day as @roversfan99 point out I'm not over keen to be honest based on his record post Boro.. I would be happy Frederiksen. From what I read about him, he is very adaptable to tactics that suit the team. Others I would be happy with like O'Neil, Edwards, Ismael, Duff and Wicky. Cooper was never coming here. What involvement are the actual owners having? I would suggest none. Pasha runs it Have you spoken to any Rovers fans at Ewood Park or not on this forum or much on social media. They are angry at Eustace for leaving for Derby but also comments over when Derby made contact and lying to Rovers fans
-
What do people of Karanka as head coach/manager? Someone on x said Karanka was celebrating at savoys in London. If people type in Karanka and Savoys you will find the tweet
-
Posted all about that before and just he left. Well his decision and now he has owed that decision. Cos he did a good job here. Rival team? Not this season

Not been needed yet with Gueye scoring and performing Eustace wanted his own choice players in, he wanted out from reports, he got what he wanted, good luck to him at Derby.. Have to agree here. Someone Niels Frederiksen or Ryan Mason or Damien Duff being that left field. Great shout and supposedly knows Adam Owen. Very interesting thst

And the January transfer window was nowhere as bad as some of you make of it. Sanderson showing his worth, Kargbo has been good, Forshaw best performance last week and Riberio has been excellent so far
-
Let's see who we appoint first as the new head coach before we answer this sort of question.
-
He was off yesterday and what do you expect to say about Head coach search that he didn't say on Monday in his podcast
-
Been relax from day 1 over this new head coach appointment
-
Is it? You tell me? Have u ever read it? They article from Nicko says Waggott and Pasha will meet a couple of candidates for the final interview process in London They spoken to 6 candidates via zoom in their first round of the interview process
-
For those reasons above is why I don't think Karanka will make the cut into the final interview stage
-
We don't even know if Karanka is in the final interview lists. I think we see an appointment in the couple of days. We all have our all choices, and lets first see who we appoint before we go OTT.
-
I think he was managing an African nation team
-
I would be happy with Ismael being appoint here. Don't know enough on Lijnders as head coach. I know he was Klopp number 2 Karanka, wouldn't be keen at all given his recent managerial history. He knows Gestede tho, so his appointment wouldn't surprise me. If they have gone to London, suggest to me that we are meeting a couple more head coaches who are in work maybe Duff or foreign head coach was close to getting the WBA head coach before deciding to go to Everton and number 2 to Moyes
-
I think we know what type of head coach we want and how we want the structure to work. Its looks like applicants so far have been interviewed by Zoom and now we are entering the second interviews and made a job offer to the choose one if they are going to London as suggested by Alan Nixon. I'm sure plenty of club board management have disagreements and that's is normal within any working structure or management structure. That would be very normal in business and lets not forget football clubs should be run as Business at the end of the day RF99, we all know what the bigger issues about contract renewals for certain players but also spending more what we received but looks hope we make a good head coach appointment.
-
What loads and loads? Interviewing 7-8 candidate isn't loads given how many have applied for the job. It's ok having 3 man shortlist but you might have candidates who you think wasn't interested 6 months are now cos of our league position and playoffs I meant people with footballing experience You will always have disagreements unless it one person deciding. Thats life

Cos that a different issue cos the club is on going with it and we are interviewing different candidates unlike the Rovers management decide to re-invest little money and now renew contracts which the same situation different day -
So you do want interview process where we interview candidate from the UK and overseas over a few days? Do you believe we have over 150 " serious applicants" for our head coach job?

Did WBA or Sunderland or Dingles have a succession plan? No. We all know the issues at club, but do we need to keep going on and on about it each and every day? Do we? FFS.
