  1. if he was crap then he wouldn't be professional footballer Sigurdsson is injured and I think he will move on in January. His signings hasn;t work out like we wanted but he has scored goals and important ones
  2. Tronstad has been a very good player for us and shown exactly why we signed him based over a full 1 and half season not just one game
  3. Interesting suggestion. Could be one to keep an eye on. Southampton will sign players in January so some of their players will be available on loan in January. If Ross Stewart was fit, then I would look at him on loan.
  4. Neither would I. Dolan's contract should have been sorted 2 years ago. Not leaving. We should have offered him a new improve contract during JDT's first season here.
  5. interesting, I read that Walters took control of signings and Schumacher had little involved. Is that what happened there? do you know which signings Schumacher rejected? I thought Schumacher would do well for you. shame he didn't get the time. I'm surprised Walters has survived, his signings haven't worked out. I think someone like Mowbray would suit your club at the minute. Will Tom Cannon stay at Stoke for the rest of the season?
  6. I hope so. All depends whether he can agreed terms
  7. Why did Walters get rid of Steven Schumacher? Who would you like in? Mowbray? Lowe? Pulis? Jones? Harris?
  8. Eustace wants him to stay and I would say he is deffo integral player to Eustace.
  9. doesn't Gueye have 3 goals overall?
  10. Used to be common theme in Spanish football once. The president of the club and Sporting director would sign the players rightly or wrongly.. Stoke situation is a desperate one and I think some British head coaches would be very cautious about doing the club. A head coach should be part of recruitment process in signing and selling players
  11. Should Walters go aswell? Who would you like in as his replacement?
  12. No surprised there. Surely Jon Walters has to go next? Robins reportedly said he wants a longer break. I
  13. The honest answer is I don't know. Our local police are very cautious and you could have split the Darwen End into home and away but no one saw so many tickets being sold. It's too late now It's going to be great atmosphere
  14. They need to back Amorim. He will turn around but needs his own signings in and get rid of the players he doesnt want. Plus a pre season. United have had successful club managers, former player legend, still not moved forward to challenging for the league since Fergie left.
  15. No game at this level not winnable. We beaten them one, so lets make it double. We shouldn't be writing off any game at this level
  16. Not every one can afford to go and watch their team and given that clubs like Man Utd or Liverpool have a membership scheme and a priority list, so it isn't easy for new supporters to get to watch their teams of those clubs. people support teams for different reasons whether family, enjoy watching a certain player like Ronaldo or Messi, etc.
  17. I would rest Tronstad for the Hull game. I would put a very strong team out for that Leeds game not a weaker one. We can beat Leeds again
  18. No way should that lot get the full Darwen End. Isn't it the police that restrict their allocation? Also do you think the police will allow that end to split up to allow Home fans into the Darwen End?
  19. Yes I am aware of those rules and you rightly pointed this out.. In terms of reset I meant in terms of appointing a new DoF, head coach and head of recruitment. They need to that right firstly. Their recruitment in the summer didn't make much sense apart from Cannon and Gallagher.
  20. Not everyone wears their football club colours outside non football match days. People support whatever reasons. It's doesn't matter to me why that is.
  21. Didn't both clubs reject that date?
  22. Could agree more. Both head coaches should be praised for the tactical changes
  23. Ennis was signed cos Steven Schumacher wanted him. During the summer, Walters decided in the summer he would take full control of transfers and decided who they signed. Schumacher's role in transfer was very little. Gallagher is a hard-working people but not a goalscorer. Stoke since they got relegated, they have gone through head coach after head coach. Spent hundred of millions of transfer fees to nowhere.. Pelach appointment was a disaster choice. They need a massive reset there otherwise its will be league 1 football shortly
  24. Gueye for me is starting at Leeds as long with Tronstad and Hedges. I would play the same way as we did at home to them
