I agree with yourself here. We need to get Hyam and Dolan to sign new deals. I agree we need to buy 2 or 3 more players with a couple of loans. Eustace wants options in the attacking areas. Plus we need to sort the Szmodics situation and quickly. We need a new number 1 keeper asap.

I was also surprised by the price he is signing for QPR for I think Eustace wants a decision to be made and either we sell him and use the money to buy 2 or 3 quality players plus a couple of loans, or we keep him and play him. Brilliant win and great to win the first game of the season. Dolan finish was class and he looks very good in the 10 role. Great play by Carter for the second goal and and set it perfectly for Weimann to nod up. Third goal good play by Brittain and Ohashi and Szmodics movement and finish was class and typical finish. Ohashi chip finish was sublime. We started the first half excellent but has the half went on we tired and Derby came on strong. Second half we have 2 chances and Gueye should have scored the second one but didn't. Derby press and got an equaliser from the set pieces. That was probably what we need as re-ignited the players and fans. Rovers need to defend set pieces much better and it needs we working on. I thought Eustace got his decisions right and I think he can built surprise here good. He needs more signings and I will touch on that in the transfer thread. on new signings, Gueye's hold up play, turn of pace and movement is very good and his finishing needs working on but I think we have a good player here and I think he isn't match sharp yet. Ohashi is a very different player, his work rate and pressing is good but his finish tonight was class and sublime. Weimann gives us that experience and knowledge from wide areas and he was in the right place at the right time. Travis was my man of the match but Dolan and Carter was very close also. Szmodics was Szmodics and he played with the same effort, desire and his attitude can't be question. We need a decision whether he is going or we said we are keeping him now for the season. Yes, we were leaking goals after goals. We got well beat by QPR at home where if Sinclair Armstrong could finish he would have 5 goals for himself. I understand your point but Eustace focus was stopping the goals, picking up points. When he got the players on the training ground for a full week or few days you witness better attacking performance. Eustace has shown how we can set defensive and keep clean sheet. Now it's attacking improvement this season whilst keeping the back door shut. Let's hope we win tonight

We had to change playing style, formation, tactics to stop the rot but also to go back to basics. Keeping clean sheets, tough to beat, etc. For around the first few weeks Eustace had very little time with the players on the training ground. When he got them on the training pitch, you could see the impact of that. 6 clean sheets in the last 10 games last season

I second that to be honest. We are debating our opinions on Rovers related topics which BRFCS is here for people to do so I don't agree with not debating our opinions cos we aren't doing anything wrong but I don't want to cause any problems for Josh or other mods with other members.
