You make an interesting point you make and something I haven't focus on his French team Nice and how they been doing recently. He is partner of F1 team Mercedes which has had a couple of seasons of mixed results but next season should be better
-
I am still surprised he is there and they have not sack him yet.

I have agree with some points RF99 makes and respectively disagree with others. Just like many posters including yourself. We all want the best for Rovers this season and this site is great for discussing and debating our thoughts on Rovers and football subjects -
United sacked their Director of Football Dan Ashworth after 5 months. They spent just as long trying to bring him in. Clearly something has gone on behind the scenes there for him to gone so quickly,

I think either Doolan or Dodds would be decent appointment but we need someone who will be here in the Chief Scout for 3 or 4 years, I guess Gestede wants us to be shopping in those markets in the future transfer windows -

I agree. Alot of Championship clubs wanted that 15 goal striker. Its will be interesting who we sign in January The team is chipping in more whether its Batth or Hyam scoring or Travis. I enjoyed how well drilled defensively we are and seen Hyam in great form this season. I think he is good player who works his socks off every goal. His goal against Derby and the reaction from the fans is something I will remember. Reminds me so much of Paul Dickov. -
Another defeat for Russell Martin there yesterday at Villa

PNE have a number of players out of contract this summer and some won't sign new contracts there so I think they might some a couple in order to raise funds for Heckingbottom to buy some of own players. They spent 1.7m on a winger who has never had a look in under Heckingbottom. I think £1m for Riis is a bargain for us -

Yet we are 6th despite your point of us having a poor attack in your opinion(which I disagree on given the quality of ours compare to others, yes it could be improve with a signing or 2 but still good enough for mid table at least at this level IMO and what I ahve witness this season), Brittain put the ball in and if McLoughlin had missed it instead, Its probably a tap in for Ohashi. I'm not bothered at us offering a goal threat too much yesterday given we took the lead and never seen we would conceded in a bloody awful and horrendous weather, we got the job done and every single Rovers fan was delighted and happy with that 3 points. Hull have a decent team there and I think Ruben Sellas appointment there is a good one. One of the problem in this lack is the lack of quality strikers teams have and everyone is looking for goalscoring number 9. -

Slight injury so I would leave Pickering for Saturday against Luton instead why does the right wing need a change given we have just won 4 games back to back? Why wasn't Baker effective Yesterday given he was playing next to Tronstad and being solid and defensive minded? what should he been doing instead? -
England win the test series and we won there for the first time since 2007/08

As ever, some excellent well made points. The team is very well coached defensively and Eustace and and his staff have done since coming in as head coach in February. When we take the lead under Eustace, you don't feel that we will conceded afterwards Yes I noticed that Travis was there and its great to see that he wasn't away Christmas shopping for example but at the game backing the team showing why he is club captain and the bond between himself and Eustace is there to be seen. The conditions were bloody horrendous but despite that the team remain strong and solid defensively throughout the game. It was solid team performance. I don't feel we will ever lose a game after we score first under Eustace and these players, you not agree with that? -

Its clear we need a striker in January so here are 2 suggestions that would cost not much(around £1m maybe) Would anyone take a risk on Reading striker Sam Smith? I notice that PNE striker Emil Riis is out of contract in the summer, could we get him? -
Cantwell would be, Hyam and Sigurdsson around 15k I bet, Travis probably just below that

The team picks it self to be honest currently. Travis back in for Baker being the only the change. Dolan and Hedges deserved to be in the starting 11 -
I would suggest Cantwell, Hyam, Travis, Sigurdsson are probably on more than that

A win is a win. 3 points and clean sheet. Awful conditions to play in. 3 points is all that matters. Delighted. 6th place now. The fans signing in the last minute was great to hear. Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵 ⚪️ -
