  1. Well lets hope that Travis's interview has put to bed the issues why he left in January on loan, cos of JDT not wanting here, so he left. Given he has done this interview today, hopefully put to bed any potential transfer outgoing
  2. no chance under Holt's ownership there Critchley did very well in his first spell there but second spell a very different manager. maybe the QPR spell had led to his change of tactics and not having a plan B
  3. Loans will start to happening shortly. PL will start releasing them on loan to Championship clubs Well we see in the coming 9 days.
  4. His first choice was the Barrow manager Peter Wild. One of his main criticism of Critchley is his tactics, not changing formations and his poor signings
  5. Well we see on who we sign and by the deadline day. Ayari is in Brighton's First team squad and played on Saturday for the,
  6. I want 4/5 more signings before the window ends. A keeper, left back, centre midfield, pacey winger and Stansfield(if possible) exactly or we moved on to other targets now 30th August
  7. Blackpool have sacked Neil Critchley this morning after 3 games. I was talking to my friend who is Diehard Blackpool supporter and STH about whether they should sack him or not yesterday. He mentioned possible replacement like Gary Bowyer, Scott Lindsey, Peter Wild. He wants to see them play attacking football
  8. Not a question I can answer tbh. Newcastle United have Pope, Gillespie, Vlachodimos(signed from Forest this summer), Ruddy and Dubravka suppsupposedly Vlachodimos is available for loan. Would we be interest I wonder?
  9. They have loads of English players in their squad. They got 5 keepers in the first team squad. It's 3 players. So you saying that you wouldn't want Jay Stansfield signing here? I don't mind Dembele coming or Stansfield. Iversen should be the one we should be signing here.
  10. Stansfield, Baker, Dembele and Ruddy. Plus Iversen and Rushworth
  11. haven't they got enough English players to fill quota given their amount of English players already in the squad
  12. Eustace isn't trying to get his old Birmingham squad back together, But Eustace wants a couple of players who he has worked with. He wants Ruddy cos he knows him and what he can offer and trust him. Ruddy isn't my choice but I can understand his reasons why he wants. My choice would be Daniel Iversen. On Dembele, It someone who He knows and signed last summer for his old club. He has the attributes we want for a wide player we need but whether he is the right fit I don't know enough on his form there. On Stansfield, Its a no brainer for me, He is quality player and even if it just a loan for 12 months I would deffo take it. On Baker, I wouldn't be paying £2.5 mil for someone with 12 months left on his deal or willing to part with Travis as part of any deal or sell him to fund this move. Also we need a left back signing before the window shuts.
  13. Heckingbottom's appointment could go either way. He played 3 at the back at Sheffield United so fits their squad currently there. He's not the manager I would have appointed there but I can understand why they have chosen him tho.
  14. Firstly, thanks for sharing the info with everyone. I was reading an article on the Athletic with Liverpool former head of data analysis Ian Graham during Rodgers and Klopp time there and the way Rodgers wanted certain players and he had to accept certain signings plus didn't embrace data analysis whilst Klopp did and trusted other people opinions on players like Michael Edwards, Barry Hunter and Dave Fallows Liverpool’s recruitment secrets – revealed by the man who helped shape it - The Athletic (nytimes.com) This situation reminds of this. I can understand Eustace wanted players he has worked with before like Dembele, Stansfield and Ruddy but he has to trust Park, Gestede and Owen to bring in the right players. They have brought in Gueye and Yuki who looked very good signings so far. As they worked more together then the trusts built. I think we should be able to find a keeper who is good shot stopper, good communication skills, can command their area and organise a defence. Park, Gestede and Owen need to decide on a shortlist of 3 keepers then present them to Eustace and all decide on their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice. We shouldn't be signing Ruddy for me.
  15. Monchi wasn't happy with the PSR rules at PL level Monchi sends PSR demand to Premier League after Aston Villa forced into transfer action (msn.com)
  16. sore loser? over what? I haven't lost anything? Always blaming Rovers. So if that your understanding why hasn't Alan Nixon or Elliott Jackson or SSN reported it? nothing got reported by any one of these people. Ipswich mess us around for days/weeks. Just like Luton did with Kaminski or Southampton with Armstrong
  17. No way would I been selling Travis for any price. I don't think Eustace would have made him captain if we wanted to sell him
  18. Yes I remember that article Rovers did but we also brought in a set pieces expert after Eustace came in
  19. Former Rovers player with a valid opinion.
  20. Delap is shite. I have watched him since breaking through and he isn't good. 8 goals in 31 games for Hull and Ipswich paid 20m for that striker. The football world has gone mad, just like the fees being paid for young players in the PL and what clubs are paying for unproven talents and selling their best young players for PSR rules. Do a little research and listen to Villa Sporting Director interview on Talksport this week Couldn't give a shit what Ipswich local media stuff is saying. Ipswich knew the price and mess us around for weeks. Ipswich could have got it 2 weeks earlier. Bias for Ipswich side of the story. Nicko told us for weeks what the problem was, you didnt. Rovers held firm and rightly so we did
  21. Mercer, yet again, football has move on from those days, sadly you are stuck in the past and that's 30 ears ago plus
  22. Delap come on better in the last year? Based on what?
  23. Well they didn't get a bargain when they overpaid for Muric, Delap and Hutchison did they? Also that's Former Rovers player Kevin Gallacher opinion.
