  1. I am very right on his ability. I wanted us to sign him on loan last summer, we didn't, Eustace and Birmingham did Lets wait to see Mercer. If we do sign Stansfield I would be thrilled and delightful. It could be loan for 12 months which wouldn't surprise me, but equally I understand and recognise we need 4 new players in before the window closes, in a number 1 keeper, left back, centre midfielder and left winger. Its looks like Ryo Germain is coming who hopefully will have an impact like Ohashi and Gueye have.
  2. He is quality Tyrone and he will never be like Gallagher in a miles years. 15-20 goal season player
  3. Gueye has had no pre season games in Belgium and the only he has played this season was 45 mins in a friendly and leagues/cup games here. Eustace said this post match yesterday.
  4. I think Stansfield would be a very good signing for us and in 2 years time if we don't get promote I think he would be worth £15m. I can understand people's point of view that you could use that money to bring a new keeper(Iversen), Winger(Poku), another forward(Germain) plus a left back and centre midfielder. I just think signing him would take us to another level and give us a chance of getting playoffs place this season(also if we sign a quality keeper, left back and winger)) or next season. Can I join 🤣 Nicko. I said that this morning in my posts that Eustace is pushing for Jay Stansfield. Source was Nicko.
  5. Yes I seen bits of clips and he looks clinical Its Eustace pushing this one and he would be very good signing for me, but you do make a very valid point and I agree that we need a wide player signing also in plus keeper, left back and centre midfielder. great to see us agree on this Yes I can asked him, its no problem
  6. Just shows how unpredictable the championship is. Derby beating Boro, Leeds playing for a draw yesterday at WBA, and now Sunderland beating Sheff Wed
  7. Iversen deffo fit the bill, first team football and being a number 1 keeper here lets see, Nicko is saying its Eustace who is pushing this one. If we agreed a fee yesterday lets say before our game kick off but would that be post match for Germain club game? (hope that's makes sense) Well, I suggested him reppeatably last summer as the one we should go for, Rovers did. Eustace did sign him and pushing for it now according to Nicko. You can still sign a wide player. 4? 1000% agree,
  8. And what? Ipswich paid 20m for Delap and he scored 8 goals all last season for Hull, Stansfield is a better player than him all day long. Plus he is only 21 years old and signing him and paying that sort of fee would be massive statement of intent from us. He is quality.
  9. Could it be that we agreed a fee post game for Germain?
  10. Would you be happy with Daniel Iversen being signed a our new number 1 keeper?
  11. Yes for me. I wanted us to sign him last season and scored 12 goals last season for Birmingham, plus he is only 21 years old. Plus factoring in that Eustace signed him last season for Birmingham. Feel like a Eustace pushing this one Jay Stansfield... The Best of the New Striker's Generation. Goals (youtube.com)
  12. Nicko also saying we have agree a deal for Ryo Germain. Stansfield would be wonderful signing for us if it happens. Hull linked with £3m move for Travis.
  13. Rovers looking at Ruddy, Iversen, Schwabe or Krul keeper Nicko is saying cos Newcastle wanted Trafford from dingles, so one of those back up keeper will move on like Ruddy. Iversen is available from Leicester for £1.6 m. Would be my first choice keeper target. Schwabe would be available from Koln cos they got relegation last season
  14. Of course not, but he does asked a fair question tho. Make you wonder if Nathan is correct here.
  15. I remember Potts as centre midfielder from his Blackpool days I think. Lowe has always been 3 at the back managers and I think you are right when it is lack of full backs and wingers that decide you have to play 3 at the back there. For me, you need a manager appointment that is happy playing with 3 at the back. That what I get told at work of PNE supporters who I work with and what I heard on Radio Lancs. The squad is set up for 3 at the back, Any new manager might want new signings like full backs and wingers if you want to play 4-2-3-1 formation
  16. Tim Krul wasn't on Luton bench yesterday. Wonder if he is injured or on the move?
  17. No Mercer, we aren't in mess at all, we are in good place on the pitch under Eustace and we aren't going down for sure under him. Off the pitch probably not depending what happens on Tuesday. I have already stated what I want from the rest of the window and with you luck comment, you created your luck in life. We have bought in some quality signings like Gueye, Ohashi and Weimann. Lets get that quality keeper, winger, centre back and left back in. Then if we could bring another attacking player who can play wide and up front would be great. Lets see in the next 12 days what happens
  18. Eustace wouldn't walk away tho, and also we still have 12 days of a transfer window to come which I think we will make a number of signings, but what you seem to forget that for example we might want a keeper from another club but that club need a replacement in also. It will be a mess the last week of the window as it always is. so would a 27-31 age range year old keeper who is experience and knowledge would be older head wouldn't it? is that what you want an experience keeper in?
  19. Looking at their squad they have 1 winger and the rest of the squad is set up for 3 at the back formation whether 3-5-2 or 3-4-2-1 formation
  20. A new keeper is a must this week, plus I would like pacey winger also in this week. Left back and Centre midfielder
  21. Eustace said in his Rovers TV interview he wants any new signings that are ready to play for us as soon as the sign here.
  22. Interim manager Mike Marsh leaves PNE now. Looks like they are closing in on a new manager. Brian Barry-Murphy is the favourite on Sky Bet https://www.pnefc.net/news/2024/august/17/club-update-mike-marsh/
