  1. I'm sure he won't be blaming Hedges for both goals like some were yesterday on here. Maybe you missed those comments
  2. Why? How do you know that?
  3. Good for you Matty. I just enjoyed talking about football and discussing different opinions on things. It's enjoyable listening to the pain in their voice when talking about the problems at the club
  4. It's interesting how many walk ons we had this season and the reasons why that is. Over 8k walk ons for boxing day fixture is a great effort.
  5. Firstly Matty, I dont think Eustace will be fuming, Secondly, Hedges is in the final third looking to close the ball down, Thirdly, why can you not credit Sunderland and their head coach making a positive tactical change and them moving the ball quickly from defend to attack. This is quality Sunderland team and there is a reason why they are 4th in the league I thought it was Batth with the knock down live and watching it back
  6. I thought Baker did very well in there but of course we missed Travis as I think anyone would do given he is captain, in great form and his partnership with Tronstad. Second half he faded abit but Sunderland midfield 2 Neil and Bellingham shown their worth Agreed 💯% And we saw the benefit of playing both against Luton tho. But he can play wide in your opinion even tho you say he doesn't do enough defensively? I think his work rate and closing down is very good.
  7. I'm sure Eustace won't give Hedges both barrels at all. I've watched the highlights back and both times Hedges is in the final third and Sunderland move the ball very quickly forward to Roberts who played wider and higher all second half. So how the hell is it Hedges at fault and why can't you actually credit Sunderland head coach for changing Roberts starting position and them moving it forward quickly
  8. Good for you Matty
  9. I've never said Hedges and Dolan are wingers cos they aren't. Alot of players who play in wide areas whether in PL, championship or league 2 play inverted. Simple as Suggested you keep off the beer and stick with the buzz fizz About 8.5 walking. Great effort by everyone single one
  10. Can't disagree with any of that United fans I work with have wrote this season off and blame Ratcliffe and his staff for it. They say why keep Ten Hag and give him a new contract only to get rid after a few months. Poor signings. Players who should have left like Casemiro and Maguire in the summer.. They are saying massive rebuild needed in the summer with Rashford, Maguire, Anthony, Eriksen, Casemiro, Martinez. Players needed are a striker, left wing back, 2 centre midfielders, left footed centre back, back up centre back.
  11. No. Dolan and Hedges aren't wingers tho. Dolan played more inside than he did wide. ACD is a winger who can go either wide
  12. interesting results today and watching this Wolves vs United, United lack quality in certain areas and need signings that fit Almorin style and tactics. Wolves deserved to win this
  13. Sunderland got the ball out there quickly to him. No blame on Hedges for me
  14. Scott? On Hedges and Dolan, they aren't those type of players. Wingers to me are players like when we had Ripley and Wilcox putting crosses into Shearer. ACD is the only natural winger we got, Dolan, Weimann and Hedges play from the wide area of the pitch but also drift inside pitch at times, exactly where I thought they would
  15. I read the Article this morning and posted what Elliott's predicted team was
  16. Sunderland played Roberts much wider and higher causing Beck the problem whether to go closer to him causing a big gap between Batth and Beck or leave Roberts with more space. I wouldn't say Hedges was at fault at all. Plus lets credit Sunderland boss was making that tactical change
  17. Good overall team performance and we got the point we deserved. It was 2 good championship teams going against each other Delighted for Ohashi scoring and he was in the right spot at the right time. We control the first half and deserved to be leading. Dolan and Hedges had chances. Sunderland didn't do much. Second half, Sunderland boss clearly change things and Roberts was playing wider and higher, which caught us out twice disappointed. We stayed in the game and Eustace made a number of positive changes and we got the deserved equaliser from Leonard after Batth knock it down. Pears made a excellent save and stop Sunderland from winning in the last minute Britain was my man of the match The fans were amazing today and great to see so many walk ons and fans coming to the game. Now time to win against Hull and get those 3 points. Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪
  18. No can't they aren't that type of players that Saka or Salah are. Key difference here You can park where the Royal Blackburn Hospital was located
  19. No I don't agree at all. We seen other players who play wide left but cut in been very effective like BBD or Elliott on the other side do it. Alot depends on the players but also how they play tactical. ACD can cut in or also go the other way.
  20. Mikey Johnston is a quality player and someone if I had him in my squad would be starting every game. Eustace has changed our play in possession and out of it, With the ball(when Pickering plays left back) we moved in 3-4-2-1 formation has I spotted in the first pre season and without the ball, we play 4-2-3-1. Will be interesting how we play today and what team he picks
