Crazy decision again by Sunderland

No I don't get to many away games for various personal reasons but not down any financial, Cos who is head coach , CEO or owners. I have no personal problem but his comments on Eustace not being this or that, or that we need "aggressive, hard bastard who takes no prisoners" head coach. I asked how did he not know Eustace is like that behind the scenes(which got no answer btw) and I commented on what Eustace is like on the touchline and shouting out instructions and demand more from the players in the 3 games he has been on the touchline for Rovers

What you seems to forget here is when JDT came in last season he made solid defensive and we develop our attacking style as the season went on. Eustace is doing the same but we are a scrap at the minute and results has to come first. Funny enough, You asked me for my shortlist to replace JDT and Eustace was on that list. On Big Sam, I didn't pilloried for the first 18 months but after that he wanted to leave us for a job in Dubai and his football didn't develop at all where someone like Mark Hughes or JDT style did. That's what I think Eustace will so.

Overall, It was a good point and we got something from the game which we rarely do there. Of course after being 2 nil up and comfortable, a mad 5 minutes cost us sadly 3 points. We scored 2 very good goals from passing the ball quickly forward. Sammie Szmodics does what he does best and Gallagher's finish is quick cos I don't think Woodman expect him to finish with the outside of the right foot. I thought Wharton and Garrett were poor for the second goal from the original open play not getting closer and tighten to Frokjaer-Jensen. On the second goal, Hedges should clear it. Pears would have save it without the touch on the ball from Hedges Second half, It was both teams not wanting to take a risk to win the game but happy with a point. I thought Brittain and Hedges did very well as wing backs and we stop their main danger man in Liam Millar from impacting the game. Hyam and McFaz were good at the back. Gallagher and Szmodics worked their socks off up front. Thought Wharton was poor and Garrett was also poor and very poor positional for the first half I thought overall we were much better defensively from open play and more solid and organised. Like I said in the Eustace's thread he is trying to make hard to beat and much better defensively organised like Mark Hughes did when he took over. It is about picking points up and staying up. Eustace and his staff need to sort our defending from Set Pieces cos we need to better and I would be focusing on this in training this week. The fans was fantastic yesterday and It was pleasure to be there watching myself. The players and Eustace came over the fans at the end of the game and properly saluted the fans who have made the effort of going and paying £30 pounds to watch it and back the team from start to finish. For me, Eustace is trying sort the defence out first and make us more solid defensive from open play and not get cut open. Similar to what Hughes did when he took over from Souness. It won't be beautiful football like under JDT but a team who will fight and commit for the shirt and the fans

Well well we aren't going to agree here. I suggested 3 realistic choices to replace JDT and Eustace was on my list based on being available, the job he did at Birmingham and develops young players.
