  1. Exactly the way I think it will work. It might happen in future years but at the minute it's wont. Broughton and JDT seems very together and both agree on the plan going forward.
  2. Here is JDT's comments to the squad during a team meeting this morning https://instagram.com/stories/rovers/2861840721381009866?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  3. JDT on the derby game with the dingles Blackburn will play Burnley next season. How aware of that derby are you and what it means? "Don't really love them no?! he said. "That is the interesting part. We have a lot of those derbies but of course Burnley is the biggest game. We want to do well in those games, but all of those derbies give me personal energy because it's extremely important for the people around."
  4. I thought he said 3 in the middle which I took as 3 centre midfielders. I think he will play 4-2-3-1 formation as its suits the playing squad
  5. That's why I have said prices for food and drinks inside the stadium need to lower and much better quality need. I don't buy inside the stadium but I rather go the Burger van at the back of the club shop cos its better quality and Burgers are tasty. I get drinks from my local corner shop as its much cheaper.
  6. to be honest I think you are just looking for a negative/problem that doesn't exist at the club. I don't see Broughton forcing players on JDT at all. Its a new start and we now have a proper footballing structure in place with DoF and Head Coach. Exciting times ahead.
  7. Blackpool are yet to appoint a replacement for Critchley now which I am surprise by. All down to recruitment now
  8. Probably neither. We have made the 2 appointments now and its time to let them get on with their jobs. Waggott can focus on off the field side of the club with Broughton and JDT now appointed in footballing roles at the club.
  9. Very impressed by JDT's comments today. He speaks so well and with such authority with his comments and answer. Genuine excited by this appointment now and how we will play under him. 6 weeks to go now
  10. So very good opening fixtures for some clubs. Looking forward to the football season already
  11. @roversfan99, have you heard the comments by JDT that he will have final say on transfer and if he says no then that player won't be sign? You now happy that players won't be force on him? Broughton has confirmed that Lenihan will go. Pleased that Broughton will speak Ben Brereton and his reps next week. Also pleased that we can spend money on players in the coming season and have healthy budget to spend and the budget is based on selling Brereton Diaz. He says his focus now will be on player recruitment. He also says they will look inside the club first before going external. Looking forward to seeing who we sign this summer.
  12. He was there for 2 seasons I believe. I agree on both points. I think Bowyer will go.
  13. Agree now. New season new Start.. Funny enough I did make some money
  14. Vydra has sign a new contract there yet. Quite a few of the squad are over 31 years old there. Need a few signings. A decent point but he has Championship experience on his staff. Kompany hasn't brought any staff in yet. We have to see. Plenty to transfers to be happen. Watford under Rob Edwards, we have see how they under him I don't understand why he is buying them? I wonder who these people are who he says will join the club? Will Lee Bowyer stay on there? I think he will leave.
  15. Birmingham City potential new owner being interviewed here by Simon Jordan and Jim White. Very bizarre interview.
  16. Watford under Rob Edwards will be interesting to see what he can do there and can he get them up or will be sack quickly if results goes wrong. Norwich. Can Pukki and other key players still perform at this level or will Smith move Idah into the main striker role. Burnley, need around 10 players, Will key players leave? Will Kompany used his old City links for players. Will he understand what is need at this level. Plus will his staff have championship experience. Boro under Wilder could be up there but signings there in key positions. Will David McGoldrick end up there? Sheffield United. Suffered massive injuries problems in the striker department. How much will they spend. Can Luton and Huddersfield repeat last season form and results. How will Michael Beale at QPR do there? Its deffo going to be very interesting and exciting championship
  17. I'm looking forward to seeing new Championship season now. Only 6 weeks away now before the season starts and fixtures are our on 23rd June. Rovers, Dingles Blackpool, QPR and Watford have new head coaches in charge. I think it will be wide open division and I don't see any clear favourite at this stage. Could change but its will down to recruitment and who clubs sign.
  18. I thought I would start a thread for the coming season for the PL. City and Liverpool have both signed 1 player. Both looks like they are strengthen and I would expect those 2 challenging for the title and I think Spurs will be there challenging. Chelsea need to strength and it will interest to see where and how much money they spend under their new owners. Think Arsenal and Manchester United need signings. I think Ten Hag will need time and to rebuild them if he can. Everton are in takeover talks and might be under new ownership shortly. Everton takeover: Peter Kenyon, real estate boss and billionaire behind bid to buy out Farhad Moshiri (msn.com) Fixtures are out tomorrow aswell.
  19. I believe we have sold around 7k season ticket and that was yesterday from the stadium map.
  20. Exactly. He speaks with passion and desire. From his comments I don't think he will settle for second best at all. He wants progress and promotion. He says he will play attacking football. I am genuine excite for the coming season and beyond with him in charge
