Pre season 23/24

Most of today was fitness tests and exercises based clearly to see -
Wasn't the problem in this test. Bairstow's batting was good in the test. Took a great catch he did but miss other opportunities. Top 6 picks itself so it's between Bairstow or Foakes? Bairstow is the better overall player..
-
Really? 🤔 Exactly Gav as I said repeatedly tonight
-
10 wins in 12 games under Stokes means it does work and is working. Our biggest problem was poor fielding and not taking our catches. nothing to do with the way we batting we could have got 50 runs or 2 runs. we does don't know. But I find quite fascinating that you, Ewood Ace, Jim or K-Hod are actually looking at the real reason why we lost this test and it was not taking your catches/stumping plus taking wickets on no balls
-
I don't think Root or Brook were reckless at all. Bairstow and Root misjudged the ball. Brook tried to play a similar shot to one he previous play. Ali was nowhere near the ball so you call it reckless if you want. I would call it stupid to come down the wicket to that ball
-
exactly. This new era of Stokes and McCullum we continue to play positive cricket and and winning cricket as you said, sadly we know that some people wouldn't like it if we lost their test and would loan and complain about Bazball when actually it has nothing to do with it. Our fielding was the main problem and bowling no-balls
-
improve our fielding and stop balling no-balls and we will win and get the Ashes back the person blaming bazball is people like you which we all know was coming if we lost the first test. instead of actually looking at the game objective and the proper and real reason is our failure to take our chances like Bairstow's miss stumping or Broad's no ball
-
I don't think we were ever reckless at all. On scoring our runs in the first innings, yes England did this and Stokes wanted to get Aussies in that night to get a couple of early wickets that night, had we done this he would be genius and being praise to the hilt. Sadly for too many people want to look for excuse and play the blame game instead. We lost this by not taking chances like Broad no ball or Bairstow miss stumping. TBH Jim, I've been expecting this type of tripe for a while against Stokes and McCullum trying to entertain people and play positive cricket. We lost this on not taking our chances like Broad no ball or Bairstow not taking the stumping

23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?

450k -
and here come the critics who will complain about England's style of play but without that we wouldn't' have got 5 days of entertaining cricket and the cricket public. Stokes and McCullum have committed to playing this style and I expect them to continue to do this

yet again that your opinion. most things in life are bad for you like drinking alcohol or eating cakes or Mcdonalds/KFC but the vast majority of us do it don't we? same old line posted by people cos people don't agree with them. that is different debate and not one I am interested in debating either. Your streets might be littered with them but not where I live but yet again I don't look out for them when I walk to the shop in car park at the supermarket. well that's your opinion and your focus. -

You might increase revenue that way by a couple of millions but nothing like trading players and improve the squad that way. Other championship teams like Boro for example are good at selling players at the right time and generate massive revenue for the club. Rovers have increase the amount of shirts they have purchase by 20 or 25%(can't remember the exactly figure) and what happens if that Totally Wicked is the best financial option after exploring all the options? I don't know if they are other people interesting in buying Rovers but you need a willing seller and we appear to not have one in our current owners. -
shocked

I don't want it either. The PL is the best football competition in the world. simple as. Plus by law they can't make it happen. Look at the backlash last time it was mentioned. Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal fans made their feelings well know. Guardiola and Klopp are against it A super league would be boring always. We already have Champions league and other UEFA club competitions which I have problems with which I won't go into

they don't. You have to be 18 years to buy them legally and use them. well if you find it tacky and badly designed logo then don't buy it then. very simple answer. Yet again far too many people focus on this instead of this is Blackburn Rovers shirt. -

bollocks! You think we should be able to attract a better and bigger sponsor which is fair argument but the unknown factor in this argument, is we aren't in the know what other offers were on the table. No its yourself who doesn't understand the FFP situation and you ask me a simple question about our budget has decreased and I said the answer was simple that we need to start becoming trading clubs and selling players at the right time and get profit from those sales. That's how you get around FFP. Stock of kits? The club has increase its order of kits cos they get sold very quickly when they come out. There is a few kits from last season in the club shop. you mention a lucrative sponsor? who could this be then? -

no surprise that Totally Wicked will be our main sponsor this season. we don't know what others offers were on the table. People might think we should do better but is there no better offer on the table we can't take the offer. The totally Wicked logo will not stop buying a Rovers shirt or 2 for the season. I am looking forward to them coming out.
