  1. I would like the Champions league to be just for the league champions of each European nations. If not then rename and rebrand it cos its not the Champions league anymore in my eyes. I didn't know about the extra 64 games bit as I don't follow or watch the champs league or other UEFA comps will any great enjoyable or excitement. so what the format going to be now with the extra 64 games out of interest?
  2. Wouldn't be in my team. Maddison would be playing there for me
  3. I would have gone for this team tonight Pickford Tripper Guehi Maguire Shaw Gallagher Rice Maddsion Saka Kane Rashford
  4. There has been 4 to 5 PL games on TV for years after years. No reason to change that and given that PL and its clubs wants the coverage and money. The Championship will have different TV slots going forward which will be Friday night, Saturday dinner time and Sunday dinner time. Viewers/fans will have plenty of choices and as a consumer that what I want The Europe comps are far too big and the Champions League format is a joke now. Its all biased to the big teams and where it should be just the League champions for each country. But UEFA won't want that tho would they
  5. But changing field and talking to bowler is part of the game.
  6. Yes I am aware of that but I think he might make some minutes against Accy.
  7. interesting. I wonder if they will replace Les Ferdinand or give Ainsworth full control now?
  8. or just get rid of one of UEFA competitions or reduce the number of teams playing in them. But no we can't do that can we. Dinner time PL kick offs have been happening for years and over 20 years now. Having 12.30 Saturday PL game is part of the footballing calendar and PL teams want the TV coverage and expose overseas aswell in places like the Far East aswell. You really hate TV being involve in Football even those that where most of the revenue comes from for PL teams and EFL teams going forward.
  9. England played like we thought they would attacking cricket and Stokes declaring like he did shows his positive mindset of this current England team and management. Crawley set the tempo with that first shot for 4. Even Stokes was shocked. Root outstanding again. Bairstow and Crawley was very good today.
  10. No idea on this player. Never heard of him. I like Rovers approach under GB and JDT findings these gems. Most won't know him or anything about him. Looking forward to seeing him at Accy first game of pre season
  11. That's it opening day of the season. They will be plenty of games being moved for Europa League teams like Liverpool, Brighton, Villa and West Ham to Sunday games without the TV coverage. Maybe time to reduce European competitons then or number of teams playing in them then or is that OK?
  12. Parker has the same amount of promotions on his cv as Farke
  13. Wouldn't be sure of that either at this stage
  14. You mean relegation team? I deffo want Leeds first game for the reasons I've outlined previously.
  15. Premier League fixtures are out and some interesting opening games. 6 games live on TV. Sky Sports are showing Dingles vs Man City Friday 11th August, Newcastle vs Villa 5.30pm Saturday 12th August, Brentford vs Spurs 2pm Sunday 13th, Chelsea vs Liverpool 4pm Sunday 13th and Man Utd vs Wolves 8pm Monday 14th. TNT Sports are showing Arsenal vs Forest on Saturday 12th August 12.30pm
  16. Looks like Leicester City will Enzo Maresca as their new head coach/manager shortly. Looks like 3 horse race for the Leeds head coach between Scott Parker, Daniel Farke and Carlos Corberan. They have today appointed Nicky Hammond as interim Director of Football
  17. lets see on Crawley. But McCullum as said he will never be consist player. on Foakes yes very harsh but Bairstow's batting is needed for me. None of the top 7 are droppable for me
  18. Cos there is nothing like watching Rovers in a stadium live. Music, beers or pre-match entertainment isn't why I go to Ewood Park. I go to watch my Rovers team play football and hopefully win. I do understand that others want more from Rovers than myself like different beers or cider on sale, or some live music before the game in the fanzone area for example. Whilst I want something some chips or chicken tikka roll and watch the dinner time kick off game I would never stay at home to watch a Rovers game at Ewood Park. It just wouldn't be the same watching on TV like some people do through different means. Not for me. No thanks as I think there is nothing better than watching Rovers playing at Ewood Park live inside a Stadium and nothing apart from Covid has stopped me doing this. Being back after Covid watching that Swansea game at Ewood Park live inside a Swansea was excellent and a joy to back doing what I enjoyed and love doing.
  19. I always want to play Leeds at home cos I work with 3 Leeds fans and 2 of them think they will walk this league even tho they have no head coach and massive overhaul of the squad happening this summer. Playing them first might just be the right time to play interesting that. if we play any of the relegation PL teams I expect it to be on TV
  20. Hoping for Leeds at Ewood opening day of the season
  21. Rovers will be at home for the first game of the season. Cos Dingles at home week away
  22. I'm mentioned about lack of quality food options at kiosks in BBE and needs a wider options. Apart from that nothing else that's interests me. But the overall/main point I'm there supporting Rovers and hopefully getting 3 points at Ewood Park. Match day experience isn't something that bothers me myself personally but it clearly does to others hence why I asked messageboard what could Rovers do better the overall match day experience for people who want that's
