  1. Venus, Lowe, Johnson and Benson all under contract. On othera who have left or will leave The Head of medical (Andy Mitchell) went to Leipzig, another of the medical team (Ibrahim Kerem) went to run Manchester United’s women, and there’s a really important member of backroom staff leaving for Newcastle United next week. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20107124.positions-fill-blackburn-rovers-head-recruitment-leave/
  2. Farke's staff at Norwich City who left was him was number 2 Eddie Riemer, first-team coach Christopher John and Head of Performance Chris Domogalla. Riemer had worked with Farke at Dortmund reserves and SV Lippstadt 08 and arrived at the club with him in May 2017. Domogalla arrived at the same time, also from Dortmund B, and oversaw all aspects of sports science and fitness at the club. John had been appointed in November 2018 from Paderborn, where he was assistant with their Under-21s. He had worked with Farke at SV Lippstadt.
  3. anyone been watching the new series on Deadliest Catch on Discovery? I think its a great insight and watch for someone who is interested
  4. Farke will need time to develop and bring in his own players but we have a good academy who produces good players which is one of the main attraction to the job, Budget and wages for new players and the fact that owners leave you to get on with the job and run the footballing side of the club
  5. Nicko is probably the national journalist out there who is even interested in covering Rovers tbh.
  6. Well done Fleetwood for staying up yesterday. Salford City are on Sky tomorrow lunch time against Mansfield Town. Both teams need to win
  7. Would you look to appoint Jackson permanent and would you be in favour of that or do you think he would be better as number 2 to the new manager?
  8. Has Nyambe been dropped for that reason tho? Lenihan is only played there cos Mowbray won't drop any of back 3
  9. We have agree to disagree on Pickering and I am happy with his signing and him being first choice next season. I wanted Ainsworth before we appoint Coyle just for the record. You can try to wind me up Duncan with your little sly comments like Chadometer and what ever you want to say. I said Mowbray should remain in charge for the season and I would keep him if we finish top 6. We haven't and its time to move on and find a manager who will take us to next level. Ainsworth has always be on my shortlist and Farke is a name that interested me since Glen Mullan as Mowbray's replacement. When you look at it Farke or Ainsworth would be ideal replacement for Mowbray. Farke has 2 Promotions from this league to PL and Ainsworth has 2 promotions on his CV at Wycombe maybe 3 shortly. Ainsworth would probably want to more direct than Farke but both would be good appointments if they actually. Bournemouth was a class above us and that show on the day sadly. The players tried and show plenty of effort and commitment till the end of the game. I wasn't angry at all but disappointed that we could take it till the last game of the season. I am looking forward to going to attend a few friendlies games in pre season(if work allow) and next season. Renew my Season ticket today and I am looking forward to next season already. I will enjoy the summer break and recharge them for next season. I enjoyed yesterday when all the Rovers fans where signing "Rovers till I die" and that's is exactly how I feel about my club.
  10. what did you think of Jack Vale's performance and would he be in your 18 playing squad at Birmingham?
  11. Not the case at all Tyrone. The players tried their best yesterday but was beaten by the better team who was a class above us this team.
  12. Pickering is more than good enough at left back and one of best performance until his injury. Looks like better at full back then wing back. We need a right back signing who is better going forward. Nyambe wasn't good enough and Lenihan played well going forward yesterday. Someone like Barnsley's Callum Brittain or Luton James Bree would be my choices. I would like a new signing at centre back to partner Scott Wharton, someone like Charlie Goode from Brentford would be choice. I agree about 1 right foot player and 1 left foot player at centre back.
  13. I am positive and optimistic type of person the vast majority of the time. I have had look into potential free agents, low cost signings and what the budget might be next season. We can build a competitive squad that should be challenging for the playoffs/top 6. Alot of this depends on who we appoint as Mowbray's replacement IMO. Make the right appointment with decent budget and we could be promotion next season
  14. Damien Johnson was higher this morning at 25/1 at Lunch time. I backed Farke at 20/1. Exactly what we need.
  15. I would play Vale from the bench, I would start Dack and Brown. Maybe Adam Wharton and Ashley Philips on the bench
  16. Everton beat Chelsea 1 nil. Their performance was full of passion and desire and playing for their fans and Lampard. Could Leeds go down?
  17. How Good was Jack Vale today? can you describe each goal he scores and do you think he should feature in the Birmingham game and in next season 1st team squad?
  18. no its wasn't a false dawn at all but we came up against better quality squad and team in Bournemouth. The back 5 work for so long before it was clear to see that our attacking play wasn't good enough. On next season, That's the way I want to see us play Miller, you might not want to but I want to see us play that way. On the manager and coaching staff point, Mowbray and some of his staff will go but a new manager will be appoint and he will bring in his own staff like most managers do. Would you not be happy with Farke or Ainsworth being appoint as Mowbray's replacement? Yes we will lose some players but they is good players out there we can replace with depending who the manager is and the budget they will be given.
  19. Bet you weren't saying that after the PNE game. We looked miles better as attacking force in 4-2-3-1 formation. Van Hecke look awful yesterday and lucky for the second home game he wasn't sent off. Given that we have a new potential manager hopefully he will sort out the defence so they are better organised than under Mowbray's time here. The way forward for us is playing 4-2-3-1 formation, pressing high and hit teams on the break
  20. Other out of work manager who have been manager in the last 12 months David Wagner, Jonathon Woodgate, Simon Grayson, Lee Johnson, Jack Ross
