  1. suggested it a few weeks again I have agreed with you about the beer point didn't I?
  2. England have named their team for the first test which starts on Friday at Edgbaston. Crawley, Duckett, Pope, Root, Brook, Stokes, Bairstow, Ali, Robinson, Broad and Anderson. I wouldn't have picked Ali in the first place as he hasn't played red ball cricket for 2 years. I would have gone Will Jacks or Rehan Ahmed instead
  3. granted, But I like something to eat at games the same way you would like a drink. I don't go into the concourse at half time and I tend to purchase my food around 1.45/2pm and watch the dinner time kick off game. We won't earn more money as Rovers outsource the food and drink kiosks to Sodexo. don't smoke so no idea.
  4. some people don't want a beer at a game of football and plus people have to drive to games plus other reasons, etc. Not everyone like you is interested in booze but I can see why some people are interest in this tho. Getting better food options should also been priority but with Rovers outsourcing to Sodexo most is unlikely to change in the short term
  5. Yes interest background their new owner has. Data background. 2 promotions on his CV and he knows how to get out of this league. Can understand why they want him
  6. one year in charge and JDT has been good for the club and improve us from the previous season. Hopefully this season we can make at least the playoff places and push on
  7. half time show? not everyone is interest in Booze btw. can I ask why they didn't buy when it was at lower price? This is again why the price should remain the same all summer as I said previously.
  8. I've parked a number of times on the car Park opposite Empire Theatre last season but the last 3 months it was closed. Question is who owns the car park? Rovers dont
  9. Thanks for reply guys. I think Food could be improved vastly. Plus I want to watch the dinner time kick off game. Thats I want. Music doesn't interest me as long it's not too loud where you can't hold a conservation with people.. I agree Rovers need to offer better food.
  10. what do people want for the match day experience?
  11. Can Rovers really be blame for the poor traffic control around the ground. Do you think local pubs want Rovers to get a cut of their profits given that's most pubs around the area are most busier on match days and quiet most of the time
  12. I have previously said better food options. Can't comment on drinks or alcohol served as I bring my own soft drinks and I don't drink alcohol anymore.
  13. Yes we all know Waggott has financial targets to meet but they are a different ways he could meet them. I see them as value for money as I can make every game, enjoy going to watch Rovers and its my only main social activity nowadays. Financial I can afford it easily. Please could you explain what would make the match day experience better?
  14. Looking forward to this game, tickets bought already.
  15. Stuart Webber is leaving Norwich now and now being with Leeds Director of Football job. La Liga club is interested also in him.
  16. ok you are mixing the two viewpoints up here. I want the champions League to revert to the previous format where it is just the league champions in the champions league. That's my viewpoint but UEFA won't do it cos of money involved in TV rights and sponsorship. I have no problems in people who want to invest their own money into football clubs and improve them by investing in new facilities or signing better players who they couldn't before.
  17. All depending on people's circumstances and what they are do. As I said previously that I think they are value for money from my own perspective and financial situation. I can attend every home game without any problem. For others is it a struggle to afford the price or can't make every game for examples meaning a ST isn't viable for them. So that's why they need be cheaper overall for a season.
  18. Leicester have hold tanks with Manchester City number 2 Enzo Maresca according to media reports. Leeds owners seems keen on Farke, Corberan and Rodgers who have been interviewed according to media reports
  19. UEFA are the ones who design and organise the Champions League. The Champions League should be just for league winners only. No I have no problems with clubs being state owned or have wealthy owners who invest and improve that club and its facilities I don't see what the problem is personally
  20. I don't the European format one bit. Its all about Money for big clubs and the smaller nations league champions are force out of the competitions. I also think its too big and I would like it refer back to League champions only competition which would be much better in my opinion
  21. City have spent £1.2 billion since Pep Guardiola joined City. Man Utd over £1 billion in the same time frame. Chelsea have close to £1.5 billion on transfer Liverpool £800 million Spurs £780 million Arsenal £950 million These are rough figures not exact figures. exactly. Mahraz, Laporte and Walker might leave hardly cast offs are they.
  22. Mike, I don't think £379 is alot of money to pay for ST from my view point. I think it's value for money in my opinion. But you compare it to when we are PL and when season ticket revenue didn't matters compare to now when it does
  23. no, you are over thinking it here. I was showing how much they have increased in 15 years which stands at a pound a month
  24. its a pounds a month over 15 years. basically nothing
  25. as I said time after time the price isn't alot in my opinion for myself to watch 23 Rovers game and I think its value for money for me. Outlined my reasons previously not going them again, But I said before(again) that not everyone can afford the current price and they should be lower.
