  1. Are we in the Premier League? do I miss that promotion? 😁 no The first team manager is resposible for bringing them through into the first team squad. If they pathway is block cos the first team manager has sign players already for that position. Think you need calm down and sit down and start think realistic about you thinking Dyche is a realistic suggestion? Rovers bringing through young and talent players into the first team squad is a major part of the club structure and footballing strategy
  2. So one player. If you think Dyche is a realistic suggestion to replace Mowbray then that's your opinion. I feel its very unrealistic and giddy suggestion do you honestly think its a realistic suggestion to replace Mowbray in the summer?
  3. why would Stokes be a disaster? any captain has been worth his selection in the team first. A county player wouldn't. I think its between Stokes and Board for the next Test Captain for the summer
  4. Didn't he do that cos of great friendship and respect for Joe Root
  5. Dyche is another unrealistic suggestion in my opinion I feel Struber is far more realistic just like the other names I have named over recent times.
  6. I wouldn't want Dyche here and I think people need to take a massive step back and would Dyche actually be a good fit for the club. Far too many of you are getting giddy over him. Plus given that Dyche was on 4 million pounds a season, do you honest think he would come here and for most likely less that wage? At Rovers developing young players and bringing through players from our Academy is major part of our football and transfer strategy here. So we need a manager or head coach who fits the profile. What players has Dyche brought through their? anyone?
  7. Honest answer I don't know. I just posted the report that linked him with the move there
  8. That's a good point about Allardyce. I am expecting an wide left appointment possibly foreign. A falling out wouldn't surprised but I think its more to do with the financially impact of relegation and the current owners knowing it would be melt down possible. No The sacking doesn't surprised for a number of reasons, one the financially impact on relegation on the ownership and club, two the results of the season, three the lack of performance of the Norwich away game. Like I said previously, I was talking to some Burnley fans at Christmas time who wanted him gone and felt a change was needed if they were going to stay up and felt the situation had gone stale.
  9. I don't think the current owners can given up the PL status given the massive football financially impact on the club!
  10. If Rovers wanted to go down the foreign route why not look at ex Barnsley head coach and currently New York Red Bulls head coach Gerhard Struber. Knows the Championship and did a good job at Barnsley
  11. Given the timing I would suspect you are advance talks with someone who is coming in after the West Ham and thats why Dyche has gone. Who that person Is I don't know. Would you be happy with Allardyce if he was appoint? I don't see an obvious candidate for you
  12. I'm not surprised he has been sack but its the timing of the decision and the fact they played on Sunday. So why not sack earlier in the week? Its appears that the new manager will have 7 games to keep them up but its shows that the owners are in full panic mode and really worried about the financial impact of relegation. They must be in advance talks with someone given they have sacked the entire Dyche coaching staff. Who will appoint will be interesting? Also wonder what role Mike Rigg is playing in this and does he have an influence in bringing in a new manager?
  13. You see it time after time that players chase the money over the playing football. More young players who do this or the wrong loan move
  14. I'm not surprised by the sacking but surprised by the timing given that the right time was Monday or Tuesday not Friday, Don't you play on Sunday? Shows that Burnley owners are in full on panic mode. Who would you want to replace him?
  15. Root as a batsman will still produce the runs just need to find a couple more quality batsmen to fit into out batting line up then pick 4 quality bowlers including the best spinner. But we need to appoint the right director of cricket who will make the county game and test cricket more of focus than in recent years, Appoint separate test and white ball coaches then appoint Ben Stokes as test cricket captain.
  16. and that's where some people go wrong chasing the money instead of playing football and enjoying it
  17. I never said it shouldn't be but we need to appoint the right manager/head coach along with new head of recruitment(I would like to see a Director of football appoint) this summer cos I have assumed Mowbray is going in the summer and I assume the Venus, Park, Lowe and Benson will go with him.
  18. Waggott and Mowbray both reported to him and then reported to the owners. In fact he is the CEO of Blackburn Rovers basically in name.
  19. I would drop Rothwell has his performances haven't been good enough. Also Can Dack play more than 45 mins in a game.
  20. Root will be in the team going forward. Stokes appears the only candidate for the summer but we need sort out the next Director of Cricket position, next Test coach and the next test captain. We need to appoint the new Director of Cricket within the next 2 weeks and from reports it appears to be Rob Key who seems to in line for it. If appoint he has massive job to do. Its fine saying that sort of comments but the problems of England cricket is bigger than Root as Captain. Lack of quality players about, county championship cricket played at the wrong time, England focus has been too much on white ball cricket
  21. a person who sit in front of me suggested him a couple of games ago. We need to be aiming for right candidate that fit in within the club structure and what the football and transfer strategy is going forward. I have see this sort of comment that we need to be aiming for better if the ambition is promotion plenty recently on different social media sites
