  1. I think you will actually find Eustace sees that game as a win for him and Rovers. Source is Elliott Jackson's podcast Arte Et Labore last week episode Eustace was involved in the team selection and tactics on the Friday night before the Stoke Game as Johnson confirmed post game plus Eustace actually didn't sit in the director box when Rovers need direction and leader on the touchline, he rolled his sleeves up and got it down
  2. no chance. We need to find a similar type of player like Szmodics if he even leaves
  3. Cos JRC and Tronstad are playing well and suits each other game. Buckley will play in some games before end of the season
  4. I don't agree one bit, we had Carter, Moran, Buckley, Garrett, Chrisene and Telalovic who could on and made an impact but everyone was playing well and to the plan. I said a few weeks that Eustace needed time on the training pitch to get his ideas over to the pitch. You can see the impact he has had since this time.
  5. I agree that I think under JDT we would have gone down. Eustace has come in and started by making harder to beat, defensively more solid and picking up points. Now we are developing our attacking game. Since his appointment, we have won 2 games, 7 draws and 3 losses in 12 league including 3 clean sheets. That's 13 points gained since JDT left Rovers. I have high thoughts of JDT and I enjoyed his time here apart from the last 2 months were when things fall apart under JDT and we were freefall. I do think he will managed in one of top 5 leagues in Europe but I do think alot of owners/CEO will be aware about how media savvy and openness with situations he is. I don't see him managing in the Championship again tho
  6. Exactly Herbie. He did mention Luton a couple of weeks ago about their interest in Szmodics. We all know they will be interest in Szmodics this summer, but will a club offer what we want, and Will Szmodics want to move or not
  7. Great to see MGP back at Ewood Park today
  8. Very good performance that today. Workrate were at exceptional level and defensively solid and limited Southampton to very little clear cut chances given their quality. The team is improving under Eustace and the fans today recognised that. the fans were great today Its a shame we couldn't have got that winner that I found our overall performance deserved. Back 4 were excellent and Brittain's best game in a Rovers shirt. Hyam and Wharton very good and kept Armstrong and Adams quiet all game. Pickering good aswell. JRC and Tronstad in centre midfield is excellent partnership that's suits each other games. Brittain my man of the match. best player on the pitch Hedges getting injured is problem for me but Markanday put in a shift when he came on and he really upped his level of performance today. Proud of the players and Eustace got his tactics spot on today and the players are really understanding what he wants on and off the ball. Eustace deserved huge credit for what he is trying to create here. I think we found a gem here. We just need to keep picking up points and focus on us and not others Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪
  9. I'm going for 3-1 Rovers win. Shame about the ref. It would be zero shocked and surprised if he was crap like Atwell was against Ipswich and got major decisions wrong.
  10. Also to factor in that we have just brought in a new footballing management structure with a DoF and GB plus no recruitment staff either that summer.
  11. Its an interesting question how we would play if Szmodics does moved on. We could go 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or move Buckley into the 10 role but with that it would mean a change of style cos he can't play the 10 role like Szmodics. I think we need a signing in that position but I would say Szmodics ain't left yet tho
  12. They haven't accept it I read earlier today
  13. The questions who made these appointment is why did you make that appointment and what has change for you to make you change head coach again
  14. Its either him or Telalovic. Its an area in the summer we need at least 1 signing in. As well possible Szmodics replacement. Big Summer ahead for Broughton and Eustace
  15. He worked hard, did the rough stuff, He wasn't bully O'Nien either and stood in. We are much better team with him in this team
  16. Very easy decision team selection wise here. same 11 that started the Sunderland game apart from Chrisene in for Pickering
  17. Its been 11 games. That's it. Plymouth have panic here for me. You wanted that type of coach who plays that style and yet again this points to a flaw in the recruitment process that led to his appointment by director of football and Chairman. No replacement line up and its now been left to Director of Football and assistant head coach for the rest of the season
  18. Gallagher was excellent yesterday and we are much better with him in the team currently then not. Still need another striker signing but Gallagher has proved his worth under Eustace
  19. Well Plymouth didn't really give Ian Foster a fair chance for me. When they played us at Ewood Park, The football they played were great to watch. I am surprised they didn't have someone line up to replace him with
  20. I don't see it your way and let's not forget that only a couple of weeks Szmodics played after his missus gave birth during the night and he drove to Ewood Park and told he wanted to play. If he was too injured I'm sure Eustace would have took him off
  21. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/13106078/jason-wilcox-manchester-united-make-approach-for-southampton-director-of-football
  22. If I was Sunderland Director of Football I would be looking to appoint one of these 3 head coach/manager Gary Rowett, Michael Skubala or Ruben Selles
