IF JDT was going he would have gone by now. He has decide to stay for the minute. probably until after the window shuts and we see what happens from then onwards -
exactly Gav. England have been in control and the way we bowled was good tom watch. We had our plans and we stuck to them. Aussies shown no positive intent

I will say this now thankyou for all the effort and commitment you have done in putting this fans takeover on this match. Lets hope we get over 5k on today -
Aussies have never shown any attacking instincts today. England bowling well there England have bowled very well today. Not bowled short apart from the odd short ball.
-
his batting was so negative and Australia are in negative mood again how exciting for the fans and attracting the new younger generation to test cricket. Aussies now 170 for 6 now
-
7 runs off 74 balls. Boring watching. and this approach is going to attract next generation of fans with all the T20 around now? its ain't. No risks taken. Blimey it makes Boycott era look entertaining.
-
fair point and Ali took his time and allow Brook to play his natural attacking game
-
very harsh on Anderson who is the best test bowler in terms of wickets and games played. on these younger bowlers we should be picking? any suggestions who we should be looking at? I don't watch much of the county game these days
-
Lets see what score they get first before we judge our score. Yes everyone wants to win granted as I have said time after time no its not a trial and that sort comment confirmed what I have said that you don't understand what Stokes and McCullum are actually saying to the players. Also you have been asked over 3 times about who you would replace Stokes and McCullum with, but every time you won't or refused to answer the basic and simple question. We did that when Ali and Root was at the crease actually.

Pre season 23/24

my team for the Stockport game Pears Brittain Barnes Wharton Batty Travis Garrett Buckley Markanday Gallagher Glisenan team for Girona game Kaminski JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Szmodics Tronstad Wharton Hedges Leonard Dolan Ennis to come on for the last 30 mins and get some game time before next week -
Rovers had to used air freight to send over a initial batch of all 3 shirts for sale now and before. The rest of the batch will be coming here by Boat which is significant less cost of travel for the club. The next batch of stock should be here by the first home game for people to buy or collect their pre order but I would get in early buying any shirt cos fans seems to like all 3 shirt designs Rovers have increase their order by 20% for each shirt this season.

what game are you watching? England run rate is over 5 runs a over and Brook has scored 74 runs from 81 balls. Oh yeah sounds tentative recovery. Instead of reading the BBC headline watch the game for a better opinion

England have picked the same team as Old Trafford for the last test at the oval

Justin Langer pays Ben Stokes and England the ultimate compliment after dominant Ashes performance at Old Trafford | Daily Mail Online @Ewood Acearticle below is what we were taking about yesterday on here Stokes and McCullum want to save Test cricket but what about beyond Big Three? (msn.com) very surprised to see that South Africa can only afford to play the bare minimum number of test matches and only 2 match test series for them

ECB and ICC DISMISS calls to bring in reserve days for Ashes Tests after Australia retained the urn following a final day washout at Old Trafford... insisting such a move would cost £1.5m over a five-match series | Daily Mail Online

exactly, Test cricket is changing for the better and the days of boring slow draws on flat boring pitches are good. We shouldn't be surprised that some people aren't happy about we are playing thing is no-one has said they prefer losing tho so this comment is unwarranted and unnecessary, but what we have actually said is we are enjoying the style of play England are playing under Stokes couldn't agree more with you Den Exactly 1000% and we haven't lost this series either yet. Also times have moved from the Gower and Gooch era's and we are in the second season of Stokes and McCullum leadership and I would say lets them carry on for the next 4 years now and we see an England team as the best in the world playing exciting brand of attacking positive cricket. You were asked a simple question yesterday from Gav and another member which you refused to answer. Wonder why?

Last time I watch India play in.India the crowd was full. Don't have access to watch Aussies in Australia. England fans like the test cricket format but will the younger generation coming through with t20 around now. Most England fans would have enjoyed how we played this summer Deffo with the number of franchise leagues around the world it is going to be problem in the future and is now for a number of international teams. Well depends why they didn't the overs in or not. But I stand by my comments it's down to the ICC to come up with a better plan to punish teams who don't play their overs in.
-
Teams and captains get fined plus Dock ICC test points. There is already an extra 30 mins now. But most teams don't bowl their daily overs allowance. Down to ICC to come up with better plan with test playing countries Exactly. All that for what cost of a ticket Exactly my point Ewood. Crowds don't want to watch that type of cricket now. They want to be entertain now. Apart from England, India and Australia aren't interested in boring slow cricket. Sky Crickets commentators were talking about this Saturday morning.
-
Who cares how they are celebrating. I couldn't give a damn to be honest. Some people are stuck in the past and now willing to modernise how teams play test cricket. The paying public is not willing to pay top prices to watch slow boring non entertaining cricket all over the world.
-
blimey that was 16 years ago. Think it time to leave what a person was like at School in the past.
-
Stokes isn't arrogance but he lives or die by his decisions and doesn't use hindsight either. He wants to play positive cricket and win games and he is more than willing to risk defeat in order to win games. What a nice approach to playing cricket instead of these boring bore draws we seen on flat slow low wickets in years gone by.
-
I think you will find that people want to be entertained and I'm sorry to say this that this is the new way Test Cricket will be played, The days of 2 runs a over are done. Fans wanted to be entertained and younger fans want watch positive attacking cricket. Yes it is very disappointed we won't win the ashes this time but I am more than happy how we played and try to play in positive attacking manner and wins games. Your last comment I find totally and utter bizarre and I knew before the series started that you would come out this sort of comment. If anything Stokes and McCullum should carry in their current roles and carry on playing this positive and attacking cricket Yes C4 rights had ended and Sky had bought the rights which would be more investment in the county game. Den, I have to say I totally and utter agree with you. The days of bore draws and 2 runs an over are over
