Premier League 22-23
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Been waiting for that question for a while. Nope. Can't afford his wages, coaching team or the players he would want here. More than happy with JDT here. Just let him continue his good work here -
When has BBD played central for Rovers and perform? His goals come from the left side of the pitch. He is the one dropping deeper and not running in behind defences any more

That's is my opinion if you disagree fine but we kept their star striker quiet all game plus restricted their chances I don't think we were very passive at all. We had 4 blocked shots and 2 shots on target. We got into good areas tonight but final decision making at times poor. Coventry were coming at us and JDT wanted to make us solid at the back which worked until the final corner which the Keeper handball it in the ref. We missed Gallagher after he went off. Couldn't keep hold of the ball after that. -

His preferred formation is 4-3-3 overall from what I've seen. He was to pass the ball to feet but over the years you seen different managers who wants to play different style/formation plus different players. -

Yes we played very well. Defending very well and kept their star striker quite all game. Yes we had a couple of chances like Hedges and Gallagher blocked shots. If you don't agree that we played very good performance that's fine by me. We played well at Huddersfield and tonight. How was the subs bizarre? It's handball clearly. No doubt at all -

Gutted after tonight result but very happy with the overall performance tonight. We scored a brilliant goal. Thought Carter and Hyam were brilliant against Gyokeres who they kept quiet all game. Adam Wharton was rightly the man of the match. Thought the game changed when Wharton and JRC went off Coventry keep going tonight but their goal shouldn't have stood as it handball by their keeper. We are still 6th and it's in our hands. Just keep playing well and performing and we get the playoffs. It's going to go down the last game. So many twisted and turns to come. -

Big night for us. Just go out there and play like we can. Just win. Would take a boring 1 nil win. Important we get the first goal tonight. The game is on Sky Sports Arena channel 408 for anyone who can't attend. COYB!!! JDT'S Blue and White Army 🔵 ⚪️!!! -

He has hired so many different types of managers with all different playing styles which means more money has to be spend on players who fit that style. Like I said several time no proper or coherent plan from him who has spend over 600 millions on players -
If you want to treat them as gossip down to you but same people posting same info with good track records.

Leeds have been awful last 2 games. 5-1 lost to Palace and 5-1 now to Liverpool. -
You make a fair point but we don't know if it would have been reinvested. No-one knows. If we reinvested 4 million plus 4 million towards running cost might be the right approach. We could a 2 players for that money. We will still find good players in the free transfers from European now. Down to the recruitment team to do their jobs now Teaching the players how to shooting instead of fearing over shooting

Dele Ali's career has gone off the boil since Mourinho dropped him at Spurs and never been the same. What a waste of talent and he should be by now one of the best footballers in the world. Lampard tried to get back to his best but sadly not worked. It was a risk and not worked out there. Dele Alli's rise and fall from the next big thing in English football to hippy crack shame | Daily Mail Online Good point -
You know why Adam Wharton was dropped but you think what happened was acceptable then?
