I think Leicester want Potter long term from the media reports I have read and Potter won't return to Football until the summer. So They could have left Rodgers in charge for rest of the season. but they sacked him. Leicester City seem to only want to offer a contract till end of the season. Then reassess depending what league they are in. Seemed very few managers want to take that sort of contract on.
