  1. No. They will only get that by playing games Paul
  2. We dont know what the fee is. You make a couple of valid but I'm sure Rovers would have done proper scouting, background checks on him. Let's see how he performs in a blue and white shirt now Maybe Rovers don't rate him as highly as you do. I don't know why you this window is poor when we upgrade at right back, sign a talent centre midfielder and number 10 that suits JDT style. Why? Is he any better than Tyler Morton?
  3. Rovers would extensive scouting him by using scouting tools like Wyscout, etc plus also watching him live in a number of games at the stadium. JDT would have watch videos of him and If he happy with him then he would give his authorisation to sign him. Plus Rovers would have background checks on the player. Alot of work goes on into scouting and recruiting players.
  4. Scott Parker wants new signings and it appears Bournemouth board haven't supply the money. They signed Marcus Tavernier who might be decent at this level
  5. totally agree Joe Well it was to plenty of other people like myself, @JoeH or @Vilesinner
  6. Gyokeres would be very good replacement for BBD and he will be main 9 with Vale and Gallagher other options for that role IMO Morton wouldn't replace Buckley or Travis unless their form dips but he will have plenty of game time here cos how we play as team under JDT Gutted for Sam Barnes if true
  7. This is one of the main points I have been making over the past of couple of days. I don't see JDT adapting or changing his style of play or tactics for one player. He has clear way of playing and I believe he will stick to it. I don't think he should either. he played right back last weekend I believe
  8. is he number 10 player who has the attributes JDT wants in the player for that role?
  9. Because these sorts of injuries take a hit on the body and IMO he will never been the same player as 2 and half years which you and others are basing your opiion on You keep talking about the old pre injury Dack not the one now after 2 major injuries. Its the now and future that matters You yet again keep saying our best player which is based on 2 and half years ago performances not now and under a different head coach who wants the team to play very different to Mowbray. JDT wants to very different style of play and structure different to Mowbray. Anyway I will leave it there cos it feels like we going around in circles.
  10. Didn't Rovers and fitness coach Liam Mason give Dack a mini pre season when he retuned last season? You mention those games but it was Mowbray who put us in those poor position by picking the wrong team(again) and formation. Last season is last season, Its about now and whether his game and fitness can fit into how we want to play now under our new head coach JDT and surely we shouldn't change that style of play just for Dack
  11. There is zero point in talking about the Dack from 2 and years ago cos its pointless and he has had 2 major injuries and I don't think he is the same old Dack. He will have adapt his game. Its about his work rate and fitness now not from 2 and half years ago. Dack is still recovering from these major injuries and I don't ever think he will the same old Dack but he will have adapt his game which is only natural after such major injuries. I don't know if Dack will fit into JDT style of play and what he wants from his front 4 so the question is Can Dack fit into that and does he have the fitness levels to play that role and the attributes he wants from the front 4? very childish comments cos its all part of the role and what is required from the front 4. Athleticism is one of the attributes along with work rate, movement, pressing aswell as creating chances and scoring goals. If Dack can't press the same as other 3 in the front 4 why would you pick him cos the opposition would know he wouldn't and use that as weakness in our pressing game? You keep saying we got a bloody good player but that based on performances from over 2 and half years ago. Here a question for you, If JDT decided that Dack doesn't fit in how he wants his team would you want JDT to adapt his style of play and his principles on how he wants his team to play just for one player? Its about players movement, roam and interchanging positions in the final third and not being stick to certain area of the pitch like under Mowbray time. Its not about Versatile like under Mowbray. These are 2 very different thing.
  12. You didn't we would spend any money but we have twice now so you can admit you were wrong? Yes the wage bill has been reduce but we can still offer decent wages. Football is very harsh and there is no time for sentiment. Every fan respected what Dack has done here but if he doesn't suit how JDT wants to play d would he stay? Its clear how JDT wants to play so why are you arguing about that? No Its based on Dack fitness and the injuries he has had in the last 2 and half years. I have never said he is finished as a player but team would have to play to his strengths and given everything I have read, watched and listened to about how JDT wants to play, his previous style of play and formation. I don't see JDT adapting his style of play or requirements of how his number 10 wants to play just for Bradley Dack. wrong it's not just about Goals and assists but everything that is required of the number 10 including pressing, work rate, etc. Jut look at one key word that our director of football Gregg Broughton said which was "athleticism" I don;t see JDT carrying any players who can't play his style of play or what he wants from his front 4 and workrate and pressing is one of key requirement of his demands. Its about the team. Another word that JDT keeps mentioning in every press conference he does
  13. It's about the Blackburn Rovers not Dack firstly and if Dack can't play the way JDT wants his team to play then he got 2 options, first option is learn and adapt to how JDT wants the team to play or second option he can leave Rovers.
  14. Rovers seems to a plan and signings players that fit how JDT wants to play and formation. It's seems that Tyler Morton will challenge John Buckley and Lewis Travis with Adam Wharton and Jake Garrett backing those 3 up. Basically filling the role Bradley Johnson and Jacob Davenport did last season. Sammie Szmodics seems to fit the pressing game and the front four interchange positions JDT wants to play here. Don't know much about it seems to score goals and create them. So looking forward to see him play. The 2 questions are, can Dack how JDT wants to play the front four and play the pressing game? Also does he have fitness to play it? If he doesn't then I don't see JDT playing him or changing his tactics for one player whoever that player is
  15. JDT on Morton and his qualities https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/august/01/jdt--tyler-a-quality-operator/
  16. It's one loan signing. That's it. He played in the San Siro in the Champions league so it's appears he is highly rated. I also think your criticism of Gregg Broughton is unnecessary. Many Championship clubs are looking at these types of players. That's how some transfers work at this level
  17. the long term plan is for Jake Garrett and Adam Wharton to be first team squad but Tyler Morton is here for a season only. How is the recruitment based on a short term when we are signing Sammie Szmodics for a couple of millions and Callum Brittain already signed for around 1 million pounds and 4 year contract? on the 10 players who left a few of them were only squad players like Poveda, Zeefuik, Johnson, Davenport so these have already been replace. Nyambe and Rothwell have been replace by Brittain and Morton. We are only looking at making 5 or 6 signings this summer. I think we signed at least 3/4 permanent signings and a couple of loans.
  18. Its was 5 until Morton signed. Now 4 exactly. He should only speak at transfer confirmation and nothing else not interviews with local reporters at this stage of the transfer window. Cos they been 1 transfer in until today people panic and wants answers instead of relaxing and letting the club get on with it
  19. Tyler Morton is the player signed on loan for the season. Number 2 signing in
  20. We shouldn't be building our squad on loans but looking for 1 or 2 even 3 as max. Not 5 We will see our healthy budget being used in the coming days to sign some players
