  1. Carvalhal did achieve two top 6 finish and playoff place in his first 2 season there as head coach. Whilst Mowbray had 4 years to get that and couldn't. He couldn't even achieved a top 6 finish even when we were 2nd on the 8th February. His stubborn and unwillingness to adapt and change his tactical approach cost us the last 3 months of the season and ultimately cost us our playoff place and promotion
  2. Looking forward to The Roses 20twenty game tonight. Here is England test head coach first interview. Speaks sense and is very calm https://youtu.be/GZJ6y60NZqU
  3. Thanks for the update. How many staff does Carlos Carvalhal want to bring with him? I wonder if this other coach is Former Wolves and Spurs head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. Has Championship experience and promotion from this league I think they should extend the deadline until end of June I agree that any new manager should be allow to bring in his own number 2, goalkeeper coach and fitness coach. Then Johnson remains in his current role as first team coach.
  4. Well they should know that type of post would have been in proper thread or a new thread not in the academy/under 23 thread, Not really cos it's not in the right thread for next head coach appointment is it?
  5. I will always keep believing and keep positive about Rovers. For example, Just like I was confident we would bounce back form league 1 at the first attempt even if a slightly poor start. I was confident we would finish top 6 after January but we didn't. For me, Mowbray was mainly to blame for that. That doesn't dealt my confidence one bit cos the next head coach appointment should be aiming to get us promote within 2 seasons.
  6. If we want promotion then you need to appoint Carlos Carvalhal or Daniel Farke I am positive person by nature and I always look at things with the glass being half full not half empty. I would say that attitude over the past 20 years have served me very well. I noticed that this morning.
  7. You seem posts on here from certain posters plus Nixon has said he has been interviewed? reports from who? Negative thinking
  8. Blimey, of those years we had the same manager for five and half years. I'm just positive of the possible appointment of Carvalhal. Its would be sign of intent if we got him in
  9. Looks like Carlos Carvalhal will be our head coach(from reports) and I would be delighted by that news. He is good coach who is tactically aware, bring through youth and knows this league. He is the kind of appointment that could take us to PL. He will need some sort of financial support backing to take us there but it's a very exciting appointment. Carlos Carvalhal's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪️
  10. Thanks for sharing your info. Imo, the league 1 coach person is Liam Manning, out of work championship coach is Phillip Cocu and coach looking for his first job is Duncan Ferguson.
  11. Well I posted a couple of weekends ago that he was being linked with AFC Wimbledon and a club in India
  12. Yes I bought 2 today at 10am.
  13. Yes they are. For my own point of view I want to sit with Rovers fans not sit with Stanley fans
  14. I can see it both sides tbh.
  15. Or the club is rewarding Rovers fans who have signed up as STH for next season to get their hands on tickets first.
  16. No surprised and at least its put to bed this myth he would become our new Sporting Director. Hopefully we can make announcement by the end of next weeks either 2nd or 3rd June. Rich Sharpe has said that the first round of interviews are still on going.
  17. I would expect these to sell first. I've purchased 2 already.
  18. Well if you had read that site properly. there is a number of different claims made that I have never posted on here. I have mentioned Michael Beale name cos I've seen an article linking him to managing in Championship. Here the link to it https://www-footballinsider247-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.footballinsider247.com/aston-villa-may-already-have-michael-beale-replacement-lined-up-after-worrying-news-hutton/?amp=&amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16533445441619&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.footballinsider247.com%2Faston-villa-may-already-have-michael-beale-replacement-lined-up-after-worrying-news-hutton%2F Then you look a number of different articles/videos about his coaching style, record, etc out there in public domain is another reason why I suggest him for the head coach here.
  19. Actually Norwich was financially close to going bust until Maddison was sold after Farke's first season. I wouldn't be surprise if Villa first team coach Michael Beale had apply for the head coach job here.
