Premier League season 21/22

Everton win against Brentford and they will be staying up with 2 games to go -
fair enough. I see it going to the last day of the season. Can you win at Villa? If Everton win against Brentford they are safe and staying in the PL.

I have paid every attention over the past 30 years of supporting this great club of Blackburn Rovers thanks. If you noticed most clubs have cut backs on the their spending and there is a massive financial cutbacks among EFL clubs since 2020, But clubs can still complete and get top 6 without spending millions like Luton and Huddersfield. Mowbray had more than enough backing to get us a playoff place over the last 4 seasons and he failed and he should take the blame for it Mowbray was gone before the final game of the season and if you listen to his words his decisions was made a few games before the game. Oh I didn't know that you know where Rovers are up to with the interview process and which candidates have been interview, why don't you share with us all where we are up to? not everything is in the public domain or us fans knew everything is going on with the search for both roles of Sporting Director and head coach. Yes they have acted so decisively this season it has cost them their PL place by sacking Xisco Munoz when they were 13th in the league agreed

Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

I never said I did but I know Lenihan lives in Manchester. Alan Myers or Rich Sharpe won't have insider sources like 2 other national journalists do like Alan Nixon or Pete O'Rourke have. Has Rich Sharpe ever broke a story with the club given him the info? I will stick with my point that I expect both appointments of Sporting Director and head coach done by end of the May. Just like we should have promotion aspirations for next season if we have the right appointment, -

Wrong again. Never said a 6 man shortlist had already interviewed or Farke had the job. Maybe look back and read properly. I named a 6 man shortlist that I thought the club would interview and Farke was one of the favourites for the job -
6 years ago have gone past and we actually on Waggott here as CEO and hopefully they have learnt. If they weren't interested they wouldn't keep covering the club's debt, buying the training ground last summer to stop an embargo from happening. The 10 million from the Armstrong money would cover most of the debt allowing us more scope to spend in coming season. He signed 5 players in January and he pick the signings and none made a impact cos his tactics and formations. Hedges look good in the few games but before that Mowbray refuse to start him cos he didn't under the tactics. We know that we had over 60 applicants for the job and hopefully now a shortlist has been formed for both job roles. Now interviews this week and appointment made the week after would be ideal scenario. I think most of the 6 man shortlist for head coach position will be overseas coach who are used to working in this kind of structure. Yes that really worked sacking their manager Xisco Munoz when they were 13th in the league. Now 2 appointments later they are going down.

Well think what you like but I would imagine he is happy living where he does and with his family. Not sure moving to the North East would suit him. Yes Money will play a part But also is promotion and a chance of PL in his career. So I will stick to point that he will wait to see who our next managerial appointment is first before deciding his future. make a good ambitious head coach appointment and he will sign a new contract here. Over to Rovers to make it happen Well your first part is very wrong and incorrect. Who knows what is going on in the background regarding the next appointment, I have heard several different stories from people about us already interviewing some candidates or have spoken to this people or not. Whether its true I don't know but we see in the coming weeks. -

I think we should stick with God save the Queen and be proud that it is our national anthem. -
@longsiders1882@sympatheticclaretwhat did you think of your performance today?
-
and Watford will probably sack him in a few weeks time after the season starts. Yes we know who we want to interview shortly. We need the appointments made before end of the month tbh. You are mentioning things that happened 6 years ago and in recent years we have nothing to based it on. Also why didn't Mowbray get a new contract if his agents are so favour by them?

I surprised you gone 5 at the back given how Spurs play. I agree there. Over to Leeds to win

Surely that will be decide who our next sporting Director and head coach is. I can see Lenihan waiting to see who we appointment before he decides his next move -
I can understand by your first reaction. I can see why they went for him and given how he rebuild the New Zealand team is where England are not. I just hope they pick Josh Bohannon and Harry Brook in the line up at 3 and 5. Would be 2 positive moves for me
-
That is very accurate description of me and a fair one. Fair enough I disagree with this, Rovers are following a sensible and logical process for me of interviewing several different candidates and then picking the right candidates. I don't see what is wrong with this process plus Waggott and Pasha are running the search before Venkys sign the person off is what I think is happening here.

Wilder wants him and don't see him leaving there. -
Haven't watched this in years

What type of game are you expecting today Spurs and do you think Mike Jackson will change tactics from 4-4-2 to maybe 4-5-1?

Middlesbrough linked with Lenihan this morning -
The last appointment was over 5 years ago in Mowbray No media reports on Manning coming here and they only media reports is linking with QPR. Steve Cooper is no longer with this agency as I posted before that his agent is CAA Base LTD. How can you write it off already before any appointments are made to either role.
-
Not at all. I would think he would join straight away and his contract would just end there early. Where have we linked with Liam Manning? Not sure on Neilson. What are his strengths and weaknesses? Why would he be good fit here given his first spell in the EFL was good enough? Why? Who says they are use?

Just watching the Ayrton Senna documentary on Sky Documentary and its a great watch and inside one of the best F1 driver ever in the sport

So Lancashire need 12 wickets tomorrow against Yorkshire to win the game. Unlikely but who knows. Root's batting was very good and from an England view point its good that he is scoring runs. He will be one of crucial parts of England team under Ben Stokes's captaincy. I am also looking forward to seeing how Brenden McCullum does and how his working Partnership with Ben Stokes works and how well they worked together. It will be interesting to see the squad we pick for the first test and how the team will play under Stokes and McCallum I am looking very forward to the first test now and I am off work so able to watch it.
