Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
JDT wouldn't even take that into any considering when picking the team. that is clear from his comments since he joined here That why you put a clause in about that if injury or suspension happen we pay the same wages as if he was playing. -

great to see just over 13k Rovers fans there today backing the Rovers, the players and JDT. Its seems that JDT has bought a new sense of faith and winning games and playing well will keep attract fans to games game in game out. I agreed that something special is happening under JDT I don't think they is any reason to have a debate on it cos its clear for me. Brittain wins every day. I kept saying for months that we should sign Brittain and thank god we did cos he very good championship right back Agreed. He is key player under JDT

Delighted with the win and the team performance who battled, chased, work their socks off to get that team in those hot temperatures. Some very good performances like Ayala(my MOTM) and Travis were the best players on the pitch for me. Diaz produced a good goal and assist for Gallagher goal. Phillips was solid the all game and he show what talent and ability he has. Hopefully that continue here long term. Brittain shown today why he is better right back for us than Nyambe with that brave header clearance in the last minute of the first half. Every player that started got 8 out of 10 from me and 7 for the rest. Good team performance I never thought we would concede goal against us. It took a massive deflection for that to happen. They had a few good chances but I never felt in danger and we control the game well. They lacked quality in the final third for me challenging for promotion JDT has done a great job in the first 3 games and the players clearly under how and what he wants from each and every player in the team. Its felt great at full time to be 3 wins from 3 games and top of the league. JDT's Blue and White Army! 🔵⚪

Firstly, I lived in Hyndburn for the 37 years and been going Rovers for the last 30 years of my life. Does that make me less of Rovers fan cos I'm not from BB2/BB1 postcode? I have been loyal supporter and attending through good and bad times for the club. I would also say that many Rovers fans don't have the income to spend much money before and after the game currently. Plus People want/have to get home to their families or to Children or other plans post match like many people do. That's life now -

United lack a proper transfer strategy there right now. I mention 6 players who they should have been looking to sign and would fit into Ten Hag tactical plan and style. Didn't their under 21's lose 5-1 to Palace under 21's on Friday night? -

wrong Matty. I have been discussing the problems at that club for many many years on here. -
Correct my words were wrong but work was done to the Ewood Park Pitch. Its looks very good currntly. New lighting lamps have been purchased by the club. Yes I did met Waggott on a range of different issues including the pitch. I posted a brief Summary on what he said including the pitch. Well you could always email the club yourself for answers to questions on this issue i'm not sure he ever said the whole pitch from my memory

exactly Rovers were right to pull the plug on the contract offer. Nyambe and his agent played us like fools. If we want a permanent centre back signing I would go for Luton centre defender Tom Lockyer. He 27 years old, championship experience(91 games at this level), 14 caps for Wales, play in back 4 or back 3 and was in good form last season during rise to the Playoffs last season -

wrong again Matty, but as you do you don't follow what I have said for nearly 12 months about the situation. Before last season they finished 2nd and were on the up somewhat but then last season they exploded badly and gone back massively. I will say again Signing Ronaldo was the last thing they needed. OLS didn't want him IMO and that upset the entire squad and everything. Yes they were massive problems over the years since Sir Alex Ferguson in terms of proper recruitment and transfer strategy, signing the wrong players, youth development, etc. The lack of proper transfer plan is more evidence to see this summer despite a new manager being appointed and Director of Football John Murtough who has been in place for nearly 18 months. Now questions are starting to happen about how he is performing in that role. -
2 parts of the pitch have stitched up and the entire pitch was dug in and re-laid.

I would very near.

I understand your point but the owners do appoint the CEO and they appointed Woodward as David Gill successor and he overseen this pathetic spell since Ferguson and Gill left. When they were replacement Woodward why didn't they look out side the club and appoint someone like Ajax CEO Van Der Sar. But they are massive problems within the transfer and recruitment department, the youth set up there, etc. Its a totally mess there. No easy or quick fix there -

still stuck in this old age mentality about these clubs. Both of these clubs deserved to be in PL and whether you like it or not. -
Ok thanks for updates guys. how close do you live to Ewood Park guys Winning games, playing good football and new head coach who speaks positive and upbeat about Rovers

and that his fault and his agent! no one else Nyambe is decent player but we need much better if he want Promotion. Plus factoring the contract situation I am pleased he has gone. Well Paul, I have been suggesting Callum Brittain coming here as right back for a number of months and in number of posts on here cos it was clearly we didn't have a good enough Right back in attacking areas and defensively. I was very happy we signed him. very good player Rankin Costello shown it a couple of games 2 years ago like Wycombe at home and Derby away in 2020/21 season but he is too injury prone and why I would loan him out whilst keeping James Brown around the team. He was man of the match yesterday for Stockport Spot on Summary on him -
I have read that we sold closed to 11.5k tickets for this game so expecting around 12.5 k Rovers fans on today. Just been on United Utilities website and there is 2 problems in the area. One problem has been sorted and the other one reported last night is being investigated right now United Utilities - Up my street

What a mess United are in. I bet Ten Hag wish he had never took that job on. You can blame him for small part of the mess but the people who fault it is at the club is owners, boardroom and the people responsible for the signings, scouting and recruitment cos over the last 10 years its been pathetic overall apart from a couple of season under OLS there. So this April they appoint Ten Hag on the back on several interviews and recommends from Rangrick, Murtough(director of football there and Arnold (CEO there), but they appears to have no proper overall footballing recruitment in place. Ten Hag seems not to trust them and wants to sign players he knows from either working with them or playing against them in Holland. Its a right mess. They should have target Tielemans from Leicester, Rice at West Ham or Philips from Leeds before he went to Man City, Tomori from AC Milan, Frimpong from Leverkusen, Werner at Chelsea before he moved to Leipzig, David at Lille. 6 signings who would have improved that squad massively and instead its still the totally and utter shambles still. A couple of United supporting work colleagues are fuming after that game and I imagine they still be come Monday night at Work. -
I know its your opinion. Yes the Championship can be like that granted but given that WBA will play Robinson up front and Grant is injured and Davis decided to join Watford not them. Also don't rate Bruce either as manager
-
I would say BBD vs Furlong is a crucial area but we got to play on the front foot and play our game with the ball I don't get or understand this sort of mentality tbh. Haven't won their first 2 league games and lack of strikers they have. We have won our 2 league games and played well in both.
