  1. Definitely not the same player as when he was here before
  2. Rhodes isn't the same player he was here.
  3. Just what I've seen of him from highlights from people have shared. But Rovers have clearly scouted him and seems happy to sign him. I didn't take the 150 million thing serious. I wouldn't be accepting any bids for any of our key players.
  4. I think he will have impact in our promotion bid. Seems decent enough and I guess Mowbray and scouts have done their research on him. Plus the cost of transfer seems very reasonable and looks a good deal
  5. Still no deal. Any deal to sell him with end of promotion bid. Simple as
  6. I did read your post properly Fair enough. I would rather Keep Rothwell as first choice tho. Fair enough. My question Is the player worth that money tho? What your view on the Spurs forward and the deal we seen to have done?
  7. I would turn down any Brereton bid in this window
  8. For Andy Carroll and Kieffer Moore signings. Would you be happy with either? Or would you a young striker in?
  9. Delighted we signed Zeefuik now. https://twitter.com/Rovers/status/1482043889846530049?t=BHSB5JNuykkCVg5e5Dcw5g&s=19 https://twitter.com/Rovers/status/1482042327648587779?t=ZvzQG7dzqRCWb8kBGfy_4Q&s=19
  10. Onel Hernandez joined Birmingham City on loan from Norwich
  11. Stoke closing in on Lewis Baker from Chelsea on loan and Phil Jagielka Reading FC manager Veljko Paunovic is expected to stay at the club until the end of the season but is almost certain to depart upon the expiry of his contract this summer, the Chronicle understands. Reading FC manager Paunovic 'expected' to stay at club until end of season | Reading Chronicle
  12. Yes I would rather be at the game but with it being on a Monday night means the people I would usually do away games with have a family and work commitments during the working week. Like the Hull game at Boxing day we were there. But it was called off now it midweek the 2 people me and my missus went with can't do midweek away games for the 2 reasons above named. And I can't do midweek away games myself due to work commitments
  13. We don't even what the budget is for the window. Yes we have to be careful and think of the medium and long term but have we can spend couple of millions in this window Do you think we should just pay O'Riley asking price that MK Dons want or negotiate a price more suitable to us? No idea if he is any good or worth 1.7 million pounds Or could we used the money better where we can bring in 2 or 3 players?
  14. I was talking in keeping Brereton if we go up which is my hope.
  15. who knows what the future will hold for Lenihan, Rothwell, Brereton and Nyambe after the season. I have still very hopeful Lenihan, Rothwell and Brereton will be here next season. Expect Nyambe to leave
  16. Firstly, I would suggest you calm down. Secondly, He says we are working on 3 or 4 transfer deals not including Zeefulk deal. So lets wait and see what we spend and what deals we do. You woukdn't expect us to be spending Brereton size transfer fees but I hope for 1 or 2 permanent deals before the deadline with another loan deal plus Zeefulk loan to buy deal. Thirdly, Do you really Mowbray is going to come out and say we have money to spend? no you wouldn't. Mowbray will always keep his cards close to his chest. The club has to look after the finances in the short, medium an long term well being of the club, and I would expect nothing else. The training ground sale is on last season club accounts. Armstrong money will go towards the running of the club including some transfer fees, wages and meeting FFP rules. Who knows what will happens with Brereton this season
  17. Why is it a joke? Depends what Mowbray means by lavish spending. Plus need to sensible and wise with the permanent signings.
  18. Not really. Plenty of depth in our front options and defenders options. One more attacker and Zeefuik I have more than happy with our options. No reason to stockpile players. I think we need a centre midfielder in as priority as I don't want Johnson anywhere near this team.
  19. Mowbray having a smaller squad and with less options has gone us well. Can't tinker too much. I have no idea who we target for attacker position signing. I just hope it's someone who fits into our style and settle in quickly
  20. I don't know why we need 2 tho.
  21. So you want to 2 attacking signings? Where are they all going to fit in given we have already have Brereton, Gallagher, Khadra, Dolan..surely one enough.
